Big Brother: Over The Top Day 36 - Scott is evicted; Shelby wins HoH

November 2, 2016

11:00-12:00 PM: Alex and Scott asked Whitney to talk. Morgan and Shelby were also present. Scott explained to Whitney that Jason and Danielle offered him a deal in which they would keep him safe in exchange for him voting to keep Jason if he were to be America’s Nominee. Scott said they told him that they would use the veto on him if he ended up being America’s Nominee as well, even though they did not. Scott assured Whitney that he did not go after her or Morgan, but rather that he was approached with a safety deal. Alex said Jason came to her and was trying to force information out of her. She told Whitney that Jason was responsible for putting her up this week. Scott added that Jason is also the reason that Morgan is the replacement nominee. Scott said that side was likely targeting Morgan and Whitney because they have not received a care package and because the are young and unlikely to fight back. Alex told Whitney that Jason has been after her since Day 1. Whitney said she knows that and told them that already. Scott explained that he had a working relationship with Jason and Jason has been telling him since Day 3 or 4 that Whitney is his biggest threat in the short term and also his biggest threat to his chances of winning the game. Scott told the Ball Smashers that he wants to leave knowing that they have a strong fighting chance together. Scott let Whitney know that Justin made it clear to him that Jason is his ride or die and Kryssie is his rock. Whitney said she doesn’t want them to feel threatened by her relationship with Justin, because she chose him to compete since he is strong but she knows that she comes third in his mind after Jason and Kryssie. Scott said America didn’t keep him because they like him. He told the girls that he was kept because it would help their group stay safe for another week, so he does not want to see them splitting up and being picked off. Alex reiterated that Jason was not the reason that Whitney got pulled off the block. Whitney said she didn’t ever think that he was. Alex said she mentioned that last night. Whitney said she thinks Danielle pulled her down because she didn’t want to piss off America. Scott told the girls that he will be watching them every day, rooting them on from home. He said he had a blast hanging out with them.

12:00-1:00 PM: Alex and Shelby discussed how their talk with Shelby went. They both agreed that it did not go well. Scott then came by and told Alex that he feels good about the talk with Whitney. Alex said she did not get a good read on her. Scott advised Alex to stay on top of Whitney, showing her the light and the love.

1:00-2:00 PM: Alex and Shelby wondered who Whitney would nominate. Alex figured that it would be Danielle but then she pointed out that Whitney must have made a deal with Danielle. Alex and Shelby thought that it may be them, or else it could be Morgan because she has not yet received a care package. Alex said Scott and Morgan seem to think that their talk with Whitney went really well. Alex said Whitney did not even say anything and just sat there. Shelby mentioned that Whitney got very defensive about the Jason thing. Alex told Shelby that if Jason is throwing them under the bus to Scott, imagine what he is saying to Whitney. Meanwhile in the kitchen, Justin told Morgan that he is getting Shelby out of there if he wins HoH. Morgan said she figured that.

3:00-4:00 PM: Justin asked Scott if he can talk to Alex for him if he happens to go. Scott said he has talked to her and she is counting on Justin’s support. Justin said he would like to be able to continue to work with Alex. Justin told Scott he hopes that Alex will win the competition. Scott told Justin he hopes that if it is a unanimous vote, nobody questions why Alex didn’t keep him. Scott said he gave Alex the go ahead to vote him out because it is not best for her game to keep him. Scott said there is no point in Alex pissing off one of the girls by evicting them when Whitney and America are almost guaranteed to evict him. Scott said Alex feels horrible about it and wishes that she could give him a pity vote, though it wont matter anyway. Scott told Justin that Alex is very loyal and a really good friend. Justin said she is probably the most solid of the girls over there. Scott mentioned that Danielle and Jason offered him a deal and said they would take him down, yet they spun it as if he approached them to make a deal. Scott said he thought Justin confirmed it later by saying he would take him down as well. Justin denied it and said he was asking Scott about what he would do if Danielle used it on him.

5:00-6:00 PM: Justin asked Whitney who she would nominate. Whitney said she doesn’t know but she has thought about throwing it even though she doesn’t want to. Justin said he doesn’t want her to throw it. Whitney said she doesn’t think that she will. Whitney said Danielle would be one of her nominees but she doesn’t know who else. She said it will depend on the care package as well. Justin said he doesn’t see America giving Danielle a care package. Whitney hoped that Danielle wouldn’t get one. Justin suggested nominating Shelby. Whitney said she could maybe nominate her as a pawn. Justin said yeah. Justin let Whitney know that he would target Shelby if he wins, likely nominating Morgan next to her. Justin explained that he will not nominate Alex because she did not nominate him. Justin said anyone else on his side would target Alex and she will be leaving this week. Whitney said she hopes so since Alex is going to win the game. Justin disagreed because he thinks that Alex has no personality. In the bathroom, Scott informed Alex about Justin telling him to put in a good word for him with Alex. Scott said he told Justin that Alex was counting on his support. Scott told Alex that Justin claimed he didn’t say he would use the veto on him if he was America’s Nominee. Alex said that’s dangerous because now they know he will not stick to his word when he says stuff. Scott told Alex that Justin tries to throw something at him each week just in case he stays. Scott said Justin is stirring the pot by bringing petty things up and claiming that Shelby said them. Scott said he doesn’t believe it and is more upset that Justin would bring that up before he leaves than he would be by Shelby saying it. Alex thanked Scott for always having her back. Scott thanked her for everything as well.

7:00-8:00 PM: Shelby used her care package to prevent Jason, Justin and Kryssie from voting. The live vote and eviction then took place. Alex and Whitney voted to evict Scott. Danielle then revealed that Scott was evicted by a unanimous vote of 3-0-0.

9:00-1:00 AM: The HoH competition took place. It was a face morph competition in which the houseguests competed one at a time. The max time was 30 minutes. There were seven photos made up of a combination of two memory wall photos. Whitney competed first and maxed out at 30 minutes. Alex competed second and completed the competition in 27:04. Kryssie went third and failed to beat Alex’s time. Shelby went fourth and finished in a time of 3:42. After that, Morgan, Jason and Justin all failed to beat Shelby’s time. Shelby became the new HoH. After the competition, Justin told Jason that he knows he will have to win the veto if he is nominated. Justin said this was his worst nightmare. Whitney told Justin that she will do whatever she can for him. In the storage room, Alex, Morgan and Shelby celebrated the win. Shelby said she is so happy. She pointed out that Justin is so depressed because he has been talking crap about her and told Morgan he would target her just before the HoH competition. Alex talked about how Whitney was chatting with Danielle and cheering on Justin and Kryssie. Alex thinks that Whitney has flipped. Shelby said Whitney didn’t hug her and she may call her out by saying she thinks Shelby flipped. In the kitchen, Jason told Danielle, Justin and Kryssie that America nominated Scott last week and they may nominate Alex for them this week since they were a duo. Justin said he will for sure need a care package. Kryssie said they are in a whole lot of trouble if America doesn't nominate someone from the other side.

1:00-2:00 AM: Justin told Danielle that Shelby is the last person he would have thought would win HoH. He said it’s like they cannot catch a break. Justin said he wont suck up to Shelby and he probably will not even talk to her. Justin said Shelby is the one person in the house that he does not care for and he cannot stand. Danielle told Justin that America will probably give him a care package if they know that he is being targeted. Danielle added that they will have to pray that America nominates someone from the other side. Morgan told Alex that she would love to get the care package this week because it would prevent people from using it against her that she has not yet received one. She also said it would help ensure that someone from the other side leaves. Danielle checked in on Kryssie who was crying because she thinks that she should have won the competition. Kryssie blamed it on second guessing herself. Danielle said they have to eat their own just like the other side was forced to last week. She said they now have to hope that America comes through for them.

2:00-3:00 AM: Justin told Alex that he is going to need her this week. Alex promised to do her best. She said they have got each other and they will protect each other. Alex let Justin know that he is in a tough spot because Scott told Shelby everything that Justin said to him. Alex then told Morgan about her talk with Justin. She said there are people she would rather see leave before Justin but it is not her HoH. Alex pointed out that Justin used to talk game with her but he ignored her once Danielle won HoH.
