Big Brother: Over The Top Day 44 - Shelby wins HoH
November 10, 2016
2:00-3:00 PM: Danielle and Kryssie spoke about last night’s eviction. Danielle said Justin might be seen as a big game threat but he does not intimidate her. They talked about the final care package of the season. Kryssie said America wont pick someone who doesn’t win anything. She pointed out that Danielle has won two HoHs and one PoV. Danielle said she has the most wins of anyone in the house. The girls then discussed the HoH competition redo that will take place later today. They both hoped that Jason would be able to win it. Danielle feels as though Jason is looking at it negatively as though Shelby is always catching a break. Danielle said they could be the ones catching the break since Shelby might have finished quicker than Jason if not for the broken mirror. Kryssie didn’t think that Jason’s head has been in a good spot ever since he had to debate sending Justin home last night. Danielle brought up how if they had sent Morgan home over Alex, she probably still would have won HoH and then Justin or Whitney would have got the care package. Danielle hopes that America sees how well she has been doing and gives her the care package. Elsewhere, Morgan and Shelby discussed how things may play out if Jason wins HoH. Morgan said she doesn’t want to sell herself short but she thinks that Shelby would have a better chance. Shelby told Morgan not to think like that. They agreed that they have to use the veto on themselves and not on each other if they win it. They agreed that Danielle and Jason are the threats to win the game and therefore Justin and Kryssie are the ones that they need to get to the end with.
4:00-5:00 PM: The houseguests had their weekly Q&A session with Julie. At the end of it, Julie informed the houseguests that the final care package will not arrive until a week from tomorrow. She then let them know that Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States. The houseguests were surprised and disappointed with the results. Shelby thought that Julie must be joking. Morgan said a reality TV star is their President. Shelby said they all have hope then. Jason questioned where the gay people and the minorities were on election night. The houseguest talked about how they would rather stay in the house for the next four years. Jason and Shelby joked about moving to Canada. Shelby said she is so sad for Hillary because she wanted it so badly. Jason said he is sad for their country. Jason figured that they would not have been told about the results of the election had Trump not won, since it would not have led to as much of a reaction.
5:00-6:00 PM: Shelby told Morgan that if she wins HoH she might try making a deal with Justin. She considered telling him that they will take out Danielle if he doesn’t come after her or Morgan next week. Morgan added that it would be beneficial to Justin to get Danielle out since he would guarantee himself that he receives the final care package. Morgan expects Jason to take Kryssie to the end with him. She also thinks that he will try to take Justin there.
6:00-7:00 PM: Danielle informed the houseguests that it is time for the HoH competition. Danielle explained that Jason and Shelby will be competing one at a time. They drew numbers to see who would compete first. Shelby competed first. The competition was the same as last night except the puzzle had a different solution this time due to the walls being placed differently. Shelby completed the puzzle in a time of 4:03. Jason then competed and took more than twice as long as Shelby. During his turn, Jason said his mirror was having the same issues as Shelby’s was last night.
7:00-8:00 PM: The results of the HoH competition were revealed. Shelby’s time was 4:03 while Jason’s time was 9:52. Big Brother explained that Jason experience a technical difficulty with his mirror but it did not happen until the 4:24 mark, which was already past Shelby’s winning time. In the bathroom, Jason was visibly down over the result. Danielle asked if he is okay. Jason said no and called himself an idiot. Jason was upset because he had been studying various patterns in anticipation of the competition, yet he did not get one of the very ones that he studied. Jason told Danielle that the only thing they can do now is make a deal that they will not use the veto and will vote Justin out if they are kept off of the block. Jason wasn’t sure that the girls would buy that. Danielle hoped that America would nominate Morgan. Kryssie came by to encourage Jason. He figured that America would be wondering why they even put him in the house. Kryssie disagreed and said they gave him HoH last week. Jason said it was done to troll Shelby and they didn’t give it to Justin because they are saving the good care package for him. Jason said he is going to go home in sixth place and he once again sacrificed everything to come there for nothing. Kryssie expects America to nominate Morgan to make it interesting. Jason said it would be more interesting if they have to break up since there are only two people left on the other side. Morgan and Shelby discussed that it is imperative to get Danielle out so she doesn’t get a shot at winning another HoH. They again discussed offering Justin a deal to keep him safe if he votes Danielle out. Morgan said they have to focus on getting Danielle and Jason out over the next two weeks. Shelby agreed and reiterated that Danielle has to go first.
8:00-9:00 PM: Justin told Kryssie that he knows Danielle will not vote to keep him around. He said he can feel it in his gut. Justin thinks that Danielle feels like she cannot beat him at the end and also knows that he will be the one to get a care package if he stays in the house another week.
