In Julie’s hand is an envelope containing a number. Whichever houseguest is standing behind the winning star will be completely safe at the first eviction. Because the award winner is safe, he or she will not compete in the HoH competition. Omarosa chose #5 and is safe for the week.

HoH Competition - “Award Squeezin’”

You will each wrap your arms around your oversized HoH award. Squeeze tight and hang on for dear life. On go, your statue will raise, and the game is on. If you fall off, you are out of the competition. The last houseguest hanging on to their trophy will become the first Head of Household of the season.

Celebrity Gift Bag Twist

Some gift bags contain the latest in Big Brother swag. Some contain the power to recast the Head of Household. Prior to each nomination ceremony, the celebrity gift bag logo will appear on the screen in the living room. After it appears, the first houseguest to enter the diary room and declare that they want to open their gift bag will get to open it and reveal what’s inside at the next nomination ceremony.

If your gift bag contains the power to recast the Head of Household, you will immediately take over the HoH, and you must make your nominations on the spot. The ousted Head of Household cannot be nominated for eviction. The power to recast can only be used once. If more than one houseguest wants to open their bag, a random draw will take place.

Chuck declared that he would like to open his gift bag. Brandi, Keshia, Omarosa, Ross and Ariadna then did the same.

Keshia won the random draw, earning the right to open her gift bag. Keshia’s gift bag contained the recast power.

Keshia is the new HoH.

Veto Competition - “The Four Sneezins"

On go, make your way under the bridge, and search for crystals with letters on them. Bring your letters back to your spelling station, and begin spelling a word. You may only bring back one letter at a time. Once you are happy with the word you have spelled, press your button to lock in your answer and time. The person to correctly spell the longest word will win the Power of Veto. You only have 10 minutes to lock in your answer.

HoH Competition - “Celebrity Bowlerina”

Names will be drawn to determine the order in which you will compete. The player who draws the first position will step up and challenge one of the other players to head-to-head Bowlerina match. The winner stays in the game and goes to the back of the line. To loser is eliminated. The next player in line will then step up and challenge any of the players still in the game.

The goal is to knock down your four bowling pins before the other player, but a gate blocks your lane. To lower the gate, hold your handle and spin 12 times. After 12 spins, the gate will lower for 12 seconds. The last player standing will become the new Head of Household.

Order: Omarosa, Ross, Mark, Brandi, James, Marissa, Shannon, Metta, Ariadna.

Round 1: Marissa defeated Omarosa.

Omarosa Goes To The Hospital

After being eliminated from the HoH competition, Omarosa headed inside. The houseguests later received an update that she had been taken to the hospital after suffering an asthma attack. She later returned to the game.

Veto Competition - “Now You Sea It"

Veto Players: Ross, Keshia, Omarosa, Ariadna, Marissa and Shannon.

Two at a time, you will face off at the podium. There, you will see a billboard advertising a new star-studded cruise. For each billboard, Julie will ask you a question containing a number. The answer to each question will be either “more”, “exactly”, or “less”. If you are the first to buzz in with the correct answer, you stay in the game, and your opponent is eliminated. You will then choose the next two houseguests to face off. If you answer incorrectly, you will be eliminated, and your opponent will stay in the game. If no one buzzes in, you will both be eliminated unless you are the final two in the competition. The last houseguest standing will win the Power of Veto.

The chef at Chez Noir has designed a special dining in the dark experience. The chef asks that you move through the four course meal as quickly as possible. Your clock will start when you open the door to enter. Find your seat, at which point you will enjoy the first course. After enjoying the second and third course, you will be treated to dessert, then turn on the light to stop your clock. The houseguest who completes all four courses and turns on the light in the fastest time will win the Power of Veto.
