BB17 Day 20 - Da'Vonne informs Liz that people are talking about her playing with a twin
July 7, 2015
Da'Vonne caught on to the fact that there are twins in the house. Find out what happened after that here. Today, she told Liz that people are talking about it. Read about that in the 9:00-10:00 PM portion below.
10:00-11:00 AM: Da’Vonne spoke to Vanessa about her vote. She said that she knows that Vanessa is getting extremely close to Shelli and she knows that Shelli likely wants her to go but she is not ready to leave. Da’Vonne said that she had a bond with Vanessa before Shelli did and told her that she would never nominate her and Vanessa said that the same back to her. Vanessa assured Da’Vonne that she meant what she said. Da’Vonne told Vanessa that she needs her vote. She said that people in the house have betrayed her and she is not happy about it.
11:00-12:00 PM: Austin and Vanessa chatted on the hammock. Austin told her that Jeff is wanting Audrey out next, followed by Steve. Austin agreed that Steve needs to go soon, explaining that he has become very sketchy of late. Austin mentioned that Jeff also said that he would not be mad if someone like Jason were to get Shelli out or break up Clay and Shelli. Vanessa said that she trusts Jeff because he gives information but she it makes her wonder if he is giving it to everybody. Austin thought that they could let him continue to work with everyone, as people will eventually catch on. Vanessa thought that Clay, Shelli, Jackie, Jeff, Austin and herself could get deep into the game together. Vanessa asked Austin if he thought that it was good for them to have Audrey leave next. Austin yes and no, explaining that it depends on who wins HoH. He felt that certain people would target them if they did not target Audrey, so in that case it would be good if she leaves. He did believe that she would want to work with them more than anyone else, though he expects that she would turn on them the second that she needs to.
Vanessa then asked Austin if he thinks that it’s really better for Da’Vonne to go this week. Austin felt that it would end things with Clay, Shelli, Jeff and Jackie if they were to turn on them and evict Meg. He also questioned if Da’Vonne is too big of a player to leave in the game. However, Austin did mention that it is not best for Da’Vonne to leave if they are looking to split the house. He ultimately felt that they would be putting themselves in a vulnerable position if they were to keep Da’Vonne. Out in the living room, Jason was waiting on the couch because Liz was in the diary room and he wanted to know if there would be a twin swap. Da’Vonne joined him and said that the votes that she is going to go for are from Jason, Liz, Vanessa, Austin and Steve. She no longer trusted John to vote for her. Da'Vonne thought that James may be a bit of a possibility but Jason said that he will always be more loyal to Meg than to either of them. Jason figured that the only way that Da’Vonne could get Vanessa's vote would be through Shelli.
12:00-1:00 PM: Da’Vonne and Jason chatted out on the patio. Jason said that he was willing to scumbag everyone except for Da’Vonne and Meg. Da’Vonne agreed and said that she had wanted to continue on playing with Meg for longer. Da’Vonne felt that people in the house were out for blood after Jace’s eviction. They discussed that James would be the target in that case but Jason was concerned that he was so closely associated with that plan. Da’Vonne went over the votes again. She thought that she could get, Steve, Vanessa, Liz, Austin and then Jason. Her fallback options are James and John, though she expects that she needs the first five to come through. Da’Vonne hoped that people would not spill anything to Liz about people being on to the twins, because Liz would send her out if she knew that Da’Vonne was associated with that discovery. Jason said that it was almost like an alliance was created last night to go against Liz.
Da’Vonne felt that she could possibly work on Audrey for a vote but there was concern that Audrey would use things against her to damage her game in the future. Jason pointed out that Audrey does want Jeff out so it wouldn’t be that bad of a move for Audrey to get Meg out. However, like Da’Vonne, Jason did not want to provide Audrey with extra knowledge that she can use against them. Da’Vonne told Jason that she wants to get revenge by taking Clay out, since it would weaken Shelli in the process. She said that she would like to put Clay and Shelli in the nomination chairs together, though she wondered if it would help her game more so to take out an Audrey or a Liz. She felt that the house would be more appreciative of her for taking out Audrey. Jason thought that the revenge would have to wait, since Audrey needs to go and they only have five weeks to get Liz out. Da’Vonne discussed talking to Liz on Thursday morning in order to reveal that people have caught on to her being a twin, hoping to use it to her advantage by telling Liz that she will need her help to get through this. Jason pointed out that the twins will need to work with someone and they could use it to their advantage, but he would rather get them out before they get the chance to enter the game as individuals. Jason felt that Da’Vonne may need to tell her potential voters that she got the power, otherwise they may not believe that she has the numbers.
3:00-4:00 PM: Clay and Shelli discussed that they trust the “outsiders” more than they trust the James, Jason and Meg side of the house. Clay’s concern was that Jeff would not be on board with that. Shelli felt that it wasn’t something that needs to be talked about with him. She thought that they should simply let things fall in to place. Clay said that they will need to start getting out Meg, James and Jason. Clay felt that Audrey would be a good person to have around for that reason, so she can target James immediately. Shelli thought that they could also talk to Vanessa about how she wanted to bring Jeff on board, since that could work out well for them. Austin interrupted the conversation and was asked who he would target. He said that Steve would be an easy target to get no blood on his hands. Shelli suggested that James needs to go. Austin said that James scares him since he wants to get strong guys out. Clay mentioned that James, Jason and Meg are a solid three. He too was trying to suggest that Austin target that side of the house.
4:00-5:00 PM: Audrey, Clay and Shelli chatted in the backyard. Audrey had spoke to Clay earlier in the day about her diary room sessions. She said that the questions that she is being asked have been about him trying to run this week’s HoH and also about the way that he speaks to her. Audrey suggested that Clay could be getting a villain edit. She told him that it can look like he is being manipulative when he says that they are keeping her around for her sake, even though they know that they have reason to be worried about and to target Da’Vonne. Clay said that they wanted Audrey to stay regardless of whether or not Da’Vonne was the target. Shelli said that she kept Audrey safe because she didn’t want her to go and did want Da’Vonne to go. Audrey then began discussing that Clay and Shelli are not going to be in a great position if they stick with the big group that is picking off the outsiders in order to get to jury. She told Clay that Jeff is in a better position than he is. Audrey said that Austin had a good first instinct about Jeff but is now eating up everything that Jeff is selling him. Clay asked if Jeff would target them. Audrey said that he would have the people that are loyal to him do it for him. She thought that going along with the mutual targets that the house decides on will not end well. Shelli told Audrey that she is comfortable working with the Sleeper Cell alliance of her, Clay, Audrey, Austin and Vanessa. Audrey said that when she was told that she could not target Jeff, James or Meg it made her feel as though Clay and Shelli were with that side. They explained that they had to ensure that side that Audrey would not be after them in order for them to be on board with Da’Vonne going home this week. After Clay left, Audrey told Shelli that she wants to target James. Shelli was on board with that and said that he is a powerful player on that side and it would only leave Jason and Meg if he were to go.
5:00-6:00 PM: Clay and Shelli spoke in the HoH room. Clay said that he really doesn’t want to work with James, Jason and Meg but then his loyalties with Jeff will be up in the air. They agreed that James, Jason and Meg are the three that they cannot have win HoH. Shelli told him that Jeff will follow them over once the numbers start shifting to that side. They talked about the need for a Sleeper Cell meeting. Clay asked if they are going to be 100% loyal to that alliance. Shelli said that they will see what happens during the meeting. Meanwhile, Da’Vonne asked Vanessa if she has her vote. Vanessa said that she would be comfortable voting for her in 95% of the scenarios, depending on which votes are cancelled. Da’Vonne asked if she has a shot at getting votes from Austin and Liz as well. Vanessa said that Da’Vonne should offer them safety on behalf of her and Jason until jury, in exchange for their votes. Da’Vonne asked Vanessa if she would be okay with her targeting Audrey, cause she has noticed that Audrey and Vanessa seem to be rebuilding something. Vanessa assured Da’Vonne that she is not working with Audrey and is just covering herself in case she wins HoH. She told Da’Vonne that she would be fine with her going after Audrey.
6:00-7:00 PM: Vanessa informed Clay and Shelli that she is letting Da’Vonne think that she may get her vote, though she does not intend to vote for her. They then discussed the Sleeper Cell alliance. Vanessa said that her trust with Audrey took a hit but she is a good player and she does not mind aligning with her. They agreed that Audrey can not be given much information but she is someone that trusts them and that will remain a target, so there is no need to get rid of her. Clay and Shelli wondered if Austin would tell Liz about the alliance. Vanessa said that she has questioned that herself but she thinks that he would only say that he trusts them and not give her the full details. They all agreed that Austin is beginning to get a crush on Liz, so they will have to monitor that situation. Vanessa pointed out that she is one of the few people without a pair in the game. She told Clay and Shelli that she would love to be their number three. She said that she is completely fine with it if they have a personal relationship or a Final 2 deal. Vanessa added that there is nobody that she would rather get to the Final 3 with. Vanessa advised Clay and Shelli to tone down their relationship, since every views them as a pair and they will be a big target. Vanessa said that she is happy with the Sleeper Cell alliance and she could not have picked a better group of five to work with.
7:00-8:00 PM: Audrey had a chat with John. Once it wrapped up, she headed up to the HoH room to talk to Clay, Shelli and Vanessa. She informed them that John said that Da’Vonne approached him about his vote and said that she has five votes but wouldn’t say who the are. Vanessa told Audrey about her talk with Da’Vonne, saying that her campaign seems to be that she will target Audrey. Audrey said that she expected it to be. Vanessa reiterated that she feels good about things with Audrey and the Sleeper Cell, though she did not want to give Da’Vonne any information about who she is close with. Vanessa said that her issues with Audrey are water under the bridge at this point and she wants to get far in the game with the alliance. Audrey said that she feels good about it too.
9:00-10:00 PM: Steve told Vanessa about the twin twist that took place during Big Brother 5. He then revealed that the house is convinced that Liz has been switching in and out of the house with an identical twin. Steve told Vanessa to look at Liz’s memory wall photo, since they think that it is the two twins merged together. He said that the eyebrows are two different shapes and the jaw is two different shapes. Shortly thereafter, Vanessa got a bowl of popcorn and sat herself down in front of the memory wall. Da’Vonne then chatted with Steve to ask how he feels about voting for her. Steve said that he doesn’t know yet because he is unsure about where they stand. Da’Vonne told him that she needs his vote because he is the swing vote. Steve said that he does not want to make any promises right now and asked if they can talk tomorrow. Da’Vonne was fine with that.
Da’Vonne spoke to Liz, informing her that a group of people are saying that she has a twin and is periodically switching in and out with her. Da’Vonne said that she feels as though they need each other now and Da’Vonne needs Liz to convince Austin to keep her in the house. Liz said that she cannot believe that people are saying that. Da’Vonne brought up that her sister’s personality must be more bubbly. Liz said that she would for sure talk to Austin about his vote. She assured Da’Vonne that she has her vote. Liz asked who is talking about this. Da’Vonne said that she can’t talk about it right now but she will later. Liz thanked Da’Vonne for telling her that it is being said, adding that she respects Da’Vonne so much and thinks that they need to work together. Liz again said that she would make sure that Austin votes to keep her. Da’Vonne asked her not to tell him about what people have been saying. Liz mentioned that it was really farfetched and that some days she is bubbly and some days she is not. Da’Vonne said that she didn’t believe it anyway.
12:00-1:00 AM: The houseguests spent a couple of hours doing a “podcast”. The main goal for a number of the houseguests was to grill Liz in order to see if they are correct about the theory that she has a twin. Outside, Steve wanted to play pool and Da’Vonne offered to play. Steve the realized that everyone else went inside. He said that he may then have to go in then. Da’Vonne asked if he wanted to stay and play. Steve said that he is trying to avoid conversations and situations right now. He told her that he doesn’t want to talk game. Da’Vonne said that she didn’t want to talk game and only wanted to play pool. Da’Vonne said it’s okay and then walked away, saying that it’s obvious that Steve doesn’t want to be seen with her. Steve kept trying to ask Da’Vonne to let him say one thing. Da’Vonne wasn’t having it and walked away. Da’Vonne told Jason about what happened. She then begun crying and went to the hammock by herself.
Meanwhile, some of the houseguests such as Clay, James, Jeff and Meg were discussing that the stories from Liz during the podcast were not lining up. They agreed that there are definitely two different Liz’s. Meg then went to Jason and said that it is a totally different girl. Jason agreed and pointed out that she didn’t even know her own story. Clay and Shelli were up in the HoH room, discussing that the twins have different noses, different voices and one is more upbeat than the other. Jason joined Da’Vonne at the hammock. Da’Vonne said that she tried to play pool with Steve because he asked a group of people to play and everyone ignored him. She was upset that people are treating her that way just because she is going home. Da’Vonne and Jason then discussed that Liz must know that people are on to her, making the offer that Da’Vonne made her even more attractive. They then discussed which votes Da’Vonne should cancel out. At the time, they decided on Becky, Jackie and Jeff. Jason told her not to cancel out Audrey’s vote in case she is America’s Player and does not control her own vote.
1:00-2:00 AM: Liz asked Austin if he thinks that Da’Vonne will get the votes to stay. Austin said no way. He asked Liz if Da’Vonne thinks that she has her vote. Liz said yes. Austin told her that she is not voting for Da’Vonne, since he promised his vote to Meg. He also said that he does not want Da’Vonne there. Liz brought up that Da’Vonne would go after Audrey. If she leaves, Liz felt that Audrey may slide by. Austin mentioned that Jeff is still going after Audrey. Both Austin and Liz agreed that they would not want to use their HoH to go after Audrey. Liz revisited the idea of keeping Da’Vonne, saying that Meg is obviously not on their side and questioning why they wouldn’t vote her out. Austin said that Jeff is working on shifting that alliance more towards their side. He suggested that they talk to Jeff about getting in closer with that side of the house. While Austin and Liz were talking, John spoke to Clay and Shelli about his talk with Audrey. After talking to him, Clay and Shelli were convinced that Audrey was against them. Shelli figures that she is with the outsiders and is trying to turn that group against them by saying that they are with James and Meg.
2:00-3:00 AM: Audrey asked Liz if she felt weird today during the podcast. She said that she did and that she did not even want to go up there and talk. Audrey asked if Da’Vonne has said anything about having the votes. Liz said not really but she talked to her because she gave her the fast forward, so she told her that she was safe for that reason. Audrey asked if she will vote to keep Da’Vonne. Liz said that she doesn’t know and that it’s up in the air. Audrey pointed out that she is saying that she has six votes. Liz said that it’s not definite that she does but she has thought about it. Audrey went outside to talk to Jeff. She said that there is totally a plan in place to keep Da’Vonne. Audrey explained that she had just talked to Liz and she said that she had promised Da’Vonne her vote because Da’Vonne saved her in week one. Jeff asked where Austin is at. Audrey said that she doesn’t know, which is worrying her. She mentioned that Liz then began to deflect and say that things are up in the air. Audrey and Jeff agreed that they would rather have Meg there than Da’Vonne.
3:00-4:00 AM: Meg told Jackie and Jason that she is freaking out about what Audrey said. Jason said that he cannot see Da’Vonne getting more than two votes. Jason said that he loves Da’Vonne to death but knows that it’s not good for his game if she stays, since he will be up next to her next week. Jason said that he knows that Da’Vonne is having conversations about votes but he told her that he does not want to be involved at all and she understands that. Jason told Meg that she is the person that she cares in there the most after Da’Vonne. Jeff joined them and told Meg that the people that she has to worry about are Austin, Liz and Vanessa, since they are in an alliance together. Jason figured that Vanessa would be the head of that alliance and felt that the others would follow her lead. Jackie and Jason agreed that it is unlikely that they would keep Da’Vonne. Jason said that they are likely just telling Da’Vonne what she wants to hear.
Da’Vonne asked Audrey to talk. Da’Vonne said that it is not game talk and she knows that she is leaving. However, Da’Vonne said that Audrey is somebody that she genuinely thought that she would be friends with once this is over. Da’Vonne asked when and why Audrey flipped on her. Audrey said that she felt insecure when she felt like Da’Vonne and Jason were getting close and seemed to be questioning her. Da’Vonne admitted that they got close but it was never about targeting Audrey. Moving forward, Da’Vonne said that she would like to reconnect with Audrey. Audrey told her that she does not want any of this to be personal, though she feared that it was going to become personal. Audrey said that tonight during the podcast she wanted to cry when Da’Vonne rolled her eyes and walked away while she spoke. Da’Vonne said that she did it because Audrey said that she doesn’t like liars. Audrey clarified that she was talking about in people that she dates. Audrey clarified that none of this is personal and she started to feel less secure about things with Da’Vonne. Again, Da’Vonne said that she hopes that they can start over once the game ends.
