BB17 Day 97
September 22, 2015
12:00-1:00 PM: Liz told Vanessa that it’s so funny that she caught Steve practicing his speech last night. She said that he has been doing it for three days now and he is going to have the speech of a lifetime. Vanessa said that Steve is not going to get to give one and she has got to have faith. Liz said that she definitely observed that Steve was sitting there all confident last night. Vanessa pointed out that Steve would have the same number of comp wins and HoH wins as her if he wins HoH, so that’s another reason that Liz should be able to see that she would not throw the competition. Vanessa said that she wants to be able to say that she had the most HoH wins. Liz felt that Steve is trying to write her off, since she has an automatic two votes in jury. Vanessa said that Meg, James and herself would not vote for Steve if he was up against Liz, so he would be done. Vanessa told Liz that she fully expects Steve to vote against her when she evicts him. Vanessa said that the only thing that she asks is that Liz keeps her word on Julia that she will not tell Steve about their deal. Liz said one million percent she will not tell Steve about the deal. Vanessa said that taking Liz is probably a bit worse of a strategic decision than taking Steve would be, but she needs to feel good about the decision that she makes. Liz mentioned that Vanessa brought her from 5 to 4 to 3, so she owes her. Vanessa again said that all that she asks is that Liz does not break her word and tell Steve about their deal. Liz assured Vanessa that she has her vote even if the worst case scenario happens and Steve wins HoH and takes Vanessa. Vanessa agreed that it is the worst case scenario, since she wants two girls to be in the finals.
1:00-2:00 PM: Steve asked Vanessa if Liz was crying. Vanessa said that Liz had an emotional moment and was scared that she has come this far and may end up getting third place. Vanessa told Steve that they can have the conversation with Liz later tonight, in reference to their plan to tell Liz that they are taking each other to the end and have had a Final 2 deal. However, Vanessa already gave Liz a heads up that this talk would be happening and she gave her word on her girlfriend that she will be taking Liz over Steve. Steve also plans to take Liz (Read about that here). Vanessa told Steve that Liz will have to see that third is not so bad, though they are not allowed to say for sure what they are doing. Steve said that they can explain to her that they have had a Final 2 since before the Freaks and Geeks formed. Vanessa agreed and said that they have had a Final 2 since Day 40. Vanessa told Steve that everything will be okay. He said that he knows and he gets to see his mommy tomorrow. Vanessa felt that they could explain things to Liz best by saying that they had a Final 2 and have been loyal to each other, which will factor heavily into their decision tomorrow. Vanessa pointed out that Liz would also have two votes over them, plus either one of them would vote for her over each other if they went back on their deal. Steve said that he is not looking forward to having this conversation with Liz. Steve thought that Liz already knows what is going to happen. Vanessa said that she doesn’t know but she heavily suspects it. Steve said that Liz has not said anything to her. Vanessa told him that Liz probably says more to her because she is a girl. She let Steve know that Liz has been saying that people wont want to take her since she has two automatic votes.
5:00-6:00 PM: Liz, Steve and Vanessa chatted at the kitchen table. Liz said that she has been thinking about things and she congratulated Steve and Vanessa on their wins. She said that she would completely understand it if they were going to take each other over her, so she wanted to tackle the elephant in the room. Liz said that they are both scared because she has two votes in jury, so she would understand it if they don’t take her even though she would love it if they did. Liz told Steve and Vanessa that she still has two votes and would love to hear their spiel. She told them not to worry about her. Vanessa said that Liz is making her sad. Vanessa told Liz that she has got to understand that they were always very loyal to Scamper Squad. However, Vanessa explained that it became very apparent that Austin and Liz were going to be a thing around Day 40. She said that it was then a trio between Austin, Liz and Julia, so she and Steve bonded and made a Final 2 deal on Day 40. Vanessa said that they have been very loyal to each other since then, because they knew that they were at best fourth in the Scamper Squad. Vanessa told Liz that she respects her so much and she is mature far beyond her age. Vanessa said that she respects Liz for saying what she did and she wants her to know that there is no doubt in her mind that all three of them are going to have successful lives. Liz began tearing up. She told them that it’s okay. She said that it is a horrible game but it is a fun game. Steve asked Liz for a hug. Liz said that as long as she is not a Victoria, she is good. Vanessa said that there is not a Victoria thing about her. Steve said to quote Austin, Liz is a Janelle. Liz thanked Steve and told them both to kick butt out there. She said that she loves them both no matter what happens.
