Big Brother 19 Day 86 - Kevin is evicted; Paul wins Part 1 of the final HoH comp
September 14, 2017
11:00-12:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Kevin told Paul that if things don’t go their way, he will see him on Tuesday or Wednesday night. Paul asked if Kevin has been cool with Christmas, chatting with her here and there. Kevin said yes. Kevin asked if Christmas has said that she is going to evict Josh. Paul said yeah and told Kevin that it is obvious to her. Kevin said this will be the most shocking eviction of them all, seeing as Josh doesn’t think that he is leaving. Paul told Kevin they should never underestimate the situation, though it doesn’t make sense for Christmas to keep Josh. Paul said in the worst case scenario that Kevin goes, he will have to win out in order to stay safe.
1:00-2:00 PM: Kevin advised Paul to get Christmas out of the house. He explained that Cody, Mark, Elena and himself will be four of the five votes that Paul needs to win the game. Kevin said he thinks that he is going to be backdoored. Paul questioned if Christmas could really be that crazy. Kevin again told Paul to get her out. He said not to be like Cody who didn’t get rid of Derrick. Kevin suggested that Paul take Josh to the end over Christmas. He thinks that Josh will be happy with second place. Paul asked if Kevin will have his back if he ends up at the end with Josh. Kevin confirmed that he would. Kevin asked what the chances are that he stays. When he asked if it was an 80% chance, Paul said that it was.
6:00-7:00 PM: During tonight’s live eviction episode, the veto ceremony took place. Paul decided not to use the Power of Veto. That decision meant that Christmas was given the sole vote to evict. Christmas voted to evict Kevin. She explained that the others had to take part in getting people out of the game while being in power as HoH, which she feels is a part of the game that they should be judged on.
12:00-1:00 AM: Feeds returned following Part 1 of the final HoH competition. Paul won the competition. He advances directly to Part 3 on finale night. Christmas and Josh will compete in Part 2 which will likely take place on Saturday. Josh mentioned that Christmas and Paul lasted approximately 30 minutes longer than he did. Christmas said her arms are what failed her. She said her foot had nothing to do with her dropping out of the competition. Paul said he wouldn’t have lasted much longer.
1:00-2:00 AM: While Christmas showered, Paul told Josh he has to win Part 2 and pull through. Josh said he has it. Paul mentioned that the competition was close tonight. Josh said he was scared. Josh brought up that Christmas will have Alex, Jason and Kevin’s votes. Paul said Cody, Mark and Elena will also vote for her over them. Josh told Paul they know what they have to do, so he doesn’t want to keep talking about it. Josh said he feels bad. Paul said he will check in with Josh daily, as he can’t have him panic this late in the game. Paul said Christmas is going to try to separate them if Josh wins the next completion.
2:00-3:00 AM: Paul told Josh he needs him to lock his mind from this point forward. Paul brought up that he swore on his family that he will take Josh to the Final 2. Paul advised Josh not to underestimate Christmas, because she will say something to him to convince him or change his mind. Paul said Christmas will tell them both that they will lose against each other. If not, Paul said that would be amazing and they will have nothing to worry about. Paul told Josh not to be fooled. He said he isn’t expecting Christmas to do that, though he they cannot underestimate her. Josh said he keeps going over all of the stats in his head in terms of how many times people have been nominated and so on. Josh said he will walk out with genuine friendships and hopefully also with $50,000 or $500,000. Paul said he would take either since he worked so hard. Paul said if Josh wins, they will both be in Part 3 and they wont have to be nervous or fighting for their lives. Paul said he will be stressed if he has to go up against Christmas. Josh said what he loves about this is that Christmas knows there is only one winner and she is happy. Paul said he for sure made his parents cry three days in a row by winning. He explained that they were so hyped when he let them know that he was coming back. Paul said they both started crying. Paul mentioned that he made them happy last season, letting them see their kid do something they would never do.
3:00-4:00 AM: Paul told Josh that Christmas asked him about the next competition. He said he told her that he didn’t play it. Paul said if Christmas loses, he thinks she will say that the two of them deserve it. If Christmas wins, Paul said he will kill Josh. Paul told Josh to lock it in. Paul told Josh not to let him down. He suggested that “they” are gassed up about it and are stoked. Josh agreed. He said he spoke about it in the diary room.
