Big Brother 20 Day 12 - Faysal decides not to use the Power of Veto
July 1, 2018
11:00-12:00 PM: Scottie informed Swaggy C that Winston is labelling he and Bayleigh as a showmance. Scottie said he told Winston he thinks it’s just a brother-sister type relationship, but Winston said you don’t sleep in the same bed as your sister. Swaggy C said he plans to make Winston paranoid in hope of having him back off. He plans to let Winston know that people want his head on a platter next week, ideally shifting the attention off of him. Elsewhere, Steve spoke to Winston about the plan for the week. Winston said that Steve should have made a deal for Faysal to use the veto on him since he chose him to compete in the veto competition. Steve said Faysal wants Winston to be the replacement nominee, so he can’t do that since he made a deal to keep Winston safe. Steve asked Winston if he will have his back if he remains nominated next to Sam. Winston said yeah. Sam re-entered the house as a human. She asked Rachel what the most important thing that needs to happen is. Rachel suggested that Sam tap into Haleigh, Kaitlyn and Rockstar’s emotional side. Sam mentioned Steve telling her that she doesn’t have to worry since they made a plan to keep both of them safe. Sam said she doesn’t think that that’s the case, which Rachel confirmed.
12:00-1:00 PM: Swaggy C filled Bayleigh in on what Winston has been saying about them being in a showmance. Swaggy C said he might try to scare Winston a little by telling him that people are looking at him. Bayleigh worried that they could lose Haleigh or Kaitlyn since they are fighting over Faysal. She also brought up that Brett asked Kaitlyn if she thinks that Haleigh likes him since she has been flirting with him. Both agreed that it would only increase the targets on their backs if Brett and Haleigh get closer and are looking out for each other. Swaggy C said he will focus on Winston. He told Bayleigh that her focus needs to be getting Haleigh and Kaitlyn back on the same page. Swaggy C spoke to the live feeders. He mentioned Kaitlyn being needy even though she has a boyfriend back home. Swaggy C thinks that Kaitlyn is jealous Faysal and Haleigh. As for his own showmance, Swaggy C said that only Faysal and Haleigh know the truth about it. He said his number one priority is indeed Bayleigh, followed by his his alliance with Scottie and Tyler, followed by his alliance with Faysal, Haleigh, Kaitlyn and Rockstar. Swaggy C made it clear that he is there to win the game, not to get to jury, or to gain followers, but he is trying to keep himself safe for now by saying to people that they should at least get each other to jury before taking shots.
1:00-2:00 PM: Bayleigh told Faysal that he is doing a good job of balancing all of his love. She mentioned that Kaitlyn seemed to get triggered when he and Haleigh spent time together. Bayleigh said she wants Faysal to keep Haleigh close since she cannot have her jumping around the house, but she also doesn’t want Kaitlyn being a loose cannon either. Feeds went down at 1:44 for the veto ceremony.
2:00-3:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto ceremony. Faysal decided not to use the Power of Veto. Sam and Steve remain nominated. Out in the yard, Faysal checked on Steve. Steve said Faysal made the right decision since anyone else might have cracked while on the block. Faysal said Tyler wouldn’t have nominated Angela or Winston even if he had used the veto. Steve said that leave the nominations the same was the right move.
3:00-4:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Sam asked Tyler if he is intentionally leading people to believe that Brett or JC have the power. Tyler said no. He told Sam that nobody suspects her. Both agreed that it would be best if Sam can save her power this week, so they are going to try to get her the votes. Tyler said he will make sure that the six people who want to keep Sam vote in her favour even if they cannot confirm a seventh vote. They hope that Scottie is going to keep Sam even though he is positioning himself close to Steve. Sam thinks it’s best to lead people to believe that JC has the power. She feels as though JC is vulnerable, and having people think he has the power might help him stay safe.
4:00-5:00 PM: JC told Angela they have no choice but to make a move if they win HoH. JC said Faysal and Swaggy C will be after them if they leave them in the game together. Angela said she is going to make a big move if she wins. Winston joined them. JC said he is trying to get one more vote to evict Steve. He said he will let them know on Wednesday. Winston said Swaggy C told him that they have to talk later since everybody wants him out of the house. Winston said he played it off as though he was pissed off. Winston expects that he will now try to cut a deal not to go after each other next week.
6:00-7:00 PM: Upstairs, Rachel told Angela, JC and Tyler it speaks volumes that Steve has not come to speak to her. She said that she would talk to every single person if she was on the block, so he must think that he already has the votes. Tyler said they can shock him this week. Tyler stressed the importance of voting the way that you want to this week. He asked that they trust him when he says that. Brett and Winston entered the room a minute later, and Tyler reiterated the importance voting how you want to instead of voting unanimously. It was discussed that JC is working on getting Haleigh’s vote. Angela and Brett think that JC has a power that allows him to vote twice, and he can’t say that, so he is going to make it seem like Haleigh is on board with evicting Steve. Angela believes that Haleigh wants to be on their side. Brett disagreed. He pointed out that Haleigh sought out the other side, plus she is way too close with Rockstar. Brett and Winston both think that Kaitlyn would be the most likely to come over to their side. The group then discussed that the other side of the house thinks Winston is a doctor. Tyler let them know about that theory.
8:00-9:00 PM: Tyler told Angela, Kaycee and Rachel that this is going to be a good week. He said he has a feeling that Sam is going to stay. He let them in on his theory that Scottie could possibly be making it so obvious that he and Steve are a duo so that he becomes a free agent and gets pulled in after he votes Steve out. Out on the hammock, Sam chatted with Brett and Winston. She said she needs to stay because it is a great opportunity that she needs to do for her personal growth. Sam admitted that she didn’t believe that she would make it far at first, though she now feels as though she can do this. Sam said she will not do anything to anyone that she wouldn’t want done to her, which will end up biting her in this game.
9:00-10:00 PM: Steve told Faysal he thinks that the other side will do everything they can to get him out this week. Faysal said he can see Steve sitting pretty once he gets past this week. Steve assured Faysal that he will have his back moving forward. Steve said he is willing to do whatever Faysal wants since he showed him so much loyalty. Faysal claimed that he would have 100% used the veto on Steve had Tyler been willing to nominate someone from the other side. Steve said he believes that, which is why he is so calm.
10:00-11:00 PM: Brett and Winston discussed who they would nominate if Steve leaves this week. Brett said Sam would be a good choice. Winston agreed. Winston said he could put Rockstar up as well, saying he hasn’t had a chance to see her compete. Brett mentioned that using Tyler as a pawn could be an option since he is one of the most well liked people in the house, and it would keep the rest of the house from knowing that they directly work with him. Winston later said they cannot do two pawns since those people are votes for them. They circled back to talking about nominating Rockstar. Brett said they would be using her as a pawn to get out who they really want, but it doesn’t matter if she goes. They agreed that nominating Rockstar and Sam would be a good option. Winston said he would tell Faysal and Swaggy C to sit back and relax, then they can backdoor Swaggy C. Brett argued that they need those guys around for a while to have an enemy in the house, so that others don’t come after them. Winston said that taking of them out would make them crumble. Brett still worried that they would become the biggest targets moving forward.
11:00-12:00 AM: Swaggy C told Faysal that Rockstar is saying the reason Haleigh isn’t affectionate with him is that she doesn’t want to overstep boundaries, and Kaitlyn is territorial when it comes to Faysal. While Faysal admitted that he hit it off with Kaitlyn from Day 1, he said they will never be anything more than friends. Faysal said he is not physically attracted to her. Swaggy C talked about his relationship with Bayleigh. He explained that he and Bayleigh are now boyfriend and girlfriend. Swaggy C said they plan to remain undercover but they are not going to hide it if it gets out. He explained that they decided everything happens for a reason, they were put in there for a reason, and they have accepted that people may target them for being together. Afterwards, Faysal spoke to Haleigh. He stressed that he has no feelings for Kaitlyn. Faysal said he wants to spend all day with Haleigh but they cant talk all day since it’s bad for their games. Haleigh said Faysal probably wont even like her after 30 days, so he can wait until the show is over. Faysal then started talking about the same things that Swaggy C had talked to him about, such as that they are there for a reason and it is what it is if he gets evicted for liking her. Haleigh told Faysal it’s not worth it when they will be out of the house in three months.
