Big Brother 20 Day 24 - Bayleigh receives the power app; the bros are nominated
July 13, 2018
1:00-2:00 PM: Feeds returned after the BB App Store was opened. Haleigh was the least trending houseguest of the week. Feeds cut to a conversation between Bayleigh and Faysal in which she seemed to confirm that she received the power app. Bayleigh said she will sit him and Scottie down to tell them. Faysal said he doesn’t know if she should tell Scottie. Faysal said he wont tell anyone. Bayleigh said that’s better since nobody will find out. Scottie had his one on one with JC. He let him know that he isn’t really on his radar. JC suggested that Scottie not stir the pot too much since he will only make himself a target next week by doing that. When Scottie mentioned that he is considering going after the bros, JC said Brett’s following would then come after Scottie next week. Scottie asked if Brett voted to evict Steve. JC said he doesn’t think so. JC said Scottie might be able to get Brett and Winston on his side if he doesn’t go after them. He talked about Rockstar being someone who cannot be trusted. Scottie said she hates the bros enough to be trusted to vote one of them out. JC agreed that it’s best to nominate both Brett and Winston if making a move against one of them. Scottie said he isn’t there to be scared. JC said he will support Scottie. If a replacement nominee is needed, Scottie said he can then use the pawn card with Kaitlyn since she nominated him.
2:00-3:00 PM: JC continued to suggest that Scottie make a move that wouldn’t get as much blood on his hands. Scottie pointed out that Rockstar will be a target for the other side if she stays this week, so she acts as a shield for him. Scottie explained that he cannot beat Brett. He said he was buying everything that Brett was saying for about 20 minutes, which made him realize that he cannot beat him. Upstairs, Sam told Kaycee and Tyler that after someone is evicted, she can offer them the chance to get back in the house. She thinks that they would return as the robot. Sam said this week is her last week to voluntarily offer it, cause next week it will automatically be offered to whoever is evicted. Sam said there is no replacement nominee and it doesn’t affect anyone else. Tyler figured that the person would have to compete to come back. Sam said she can remain anonymous if she doesn’t use it this week. Sam told Kaycee and Tyler she would rather use her power for one of them than for Steve, Swaggy, or whoever is going up this week. Sam said she more than likely will not use the power this week. Sam mentioned Angela as the only other person that she might use it on. Sam said it’s extremely important that they win HoH next week to be in control of who gets evicted and who has the chance to return. Sam said Kaitlyn is in her second tier. She said her top tier is Kaycee, Tyler, Scottie and JC, and Angela is in between. Bayleigh and Scottie spoke in the HoH room. Scottie mentioned that Brett and Winston will always be two votes together, and Brett is the most persuasive person there. Scottie called Brett the most dangerous person in the house. Bayleigh agreed. Scottie suggested that Angela will need someone after this move, so Bayleigh can be that person for her. Bayleigh said she likes that. He also suggested that Bayleigh unify something with Angela, Kaycee and Rachel. Scottie let Bayleigh know that Rockstar’s name is being thrown around a lot. They discussed that she is being paranoid and could be targeted in the next two weeks because of it. Scottie said Brett is claiming that Haleigh and Rockstar flipped in week one. Bayleigh said Rockstar talked about doing that in case Brett and Winston were to keep Steve, but she doesn’t think that she followed through with it.
3:00-4:00 PM: Angela and Kaycee discussed that JC said Scottie is thinking about nominating the bros. Angela wondered if they could get Tyler to say something. Kaycee said he tried but doesn’t want to push too much. Tyler entered the room. He confirmed that Scottie is leaning towards nominating Brett and Winston. Tyler said Scottie shot down every single thing he said about Rockstar. Angela said Sam would be more than willing to use her power on someone on their side. Tyler said he will ask her about the specifics of it. Up in the HoH room, Haleigh said she is pissed that Brett is pitching that she was the one who flipped on Steve. Kaitlyn said that’s BS. She insisted that Brett is not saying that. She claimed that Brett is only pitching that it was Rockstar who flipped. JC spoke to Scottie again, telling him that Rockstar is apparently throwing his name around. JC asked if Scottie is sure that he wants to go after people who are not targeting him rather than Rockstar who is. While Scottie said he agrees that Rockstar is a problem, he said the others wont like her next week either, so she can be targeted then. After a bit more discussion, JC told Scottie to go for the bros if that’s what he wants to do. He said he will get Scottie the votes to stay if they put him up next week. Scottie said Brett has a showmance with every girl in the house, and those two will be tough to get out if they last together until the final 10. JC said he agrees that Brett and Winston are too powerful. When JC asked who Scottie would prefer to see go home, Scottie said Brett.
4:00-5:00 PM: JC told Bayleigh that Scottie is going to nominate the bros. He said he thought it would be fair to share something with her since he is pretty sure that no one is talking game with her. Bayleigh said she appreciates it. JC told her to keep her mouth shut about that. JC brought up that he thinks Bayleigh has one of the power apps. Bayleigh said she heard that he was spreading that last week. JC denied it, saying the only person he mentioned that to was Swaggy. JC advised Bayleigh not to tell anyone if she does indeed have the power app. Before the conversation wrapped up, JC talked about Rockstar sucking up to the HoH every week. JC told Bayleigh to be careful not to share anything with her since she will spill it immediately. JC said there will be a lot of material to use against her if she doesn’t win HoH next week. Bayleigh revealed her power to Faysal. She said she can use it all the way until when there are eight people left. Bayleigh explained that she can completely change the nominations before the nomination ceremony, making it look like the HoH put those people up. Bayleigh said the HoH is not allowed to say that it wasn’t their nominations, even if it’s their best friends or allies going on the block. She said the HoH finds out about it just before nominations. Faysal told Bayleigh not to tell anyone about the power. Bayleigh said she wont tell anyone because she doesn’t trust anyone. Faysal said he will not tell anyone either. Faysal said this power will get them to jury.
5:00-6:00 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony at 5:09.
6:00-7:00 PM: Feeds returned at 6:19 following the nomination ceremony. Scottie nominated Brett and Winston for eviction. Winston told JC that Scottie is a snake in the grass who is lying about voting him out last night. Winston believes that Scottie kept him. Brett headed upstairs to talk to Scottie. He was told that he has connections with every girl in the house, so he will be unstoppable like Paul if they wait until later to make a move. Brett said he respects that. Brett claimed that he has been straight up with Scottie, giving him nothing but facts, and wanting to work with him. Brett said Scottie has drawn the line but it is what it is. Brett and Winston spoke in the have-not room. Winston let Brett know that Kaitlyn was encouraging him to start campaigning. Winston said he isn’t about to do that when they haven’t even played the veto competition. Brett went over what he said to Scottie. Winston said he is going to go say the same but he is trying to calm down since he wants to slam Scottie against the wall. Winston then headed up to the HoH room. He told Scottie he is convinced that he voted for him to stay but he is lying about it. Winston said he knows that Haleigh didn’t vote for him. Winston told Scottie that he has drawn a line in the sand. Winston said Scottie will be gone next week, so he better hope that he gets him out this week. Winston said most of the house will be targeting Scottie after this move. Winston then left the room. Scottie told Faysal about his conversations with the two nominees. Faysal said Winston is an idiot and he is going to get voted out. Scottie said Brett talked to him very calmly, which is why he is the more dangerous of the two. Kaitlyn spoke to Brett to reassure him that he will stay if the nominations remain the same. She said she would never send him home.
7:00-8:00 PM: Faysal asked Bayleigh if she can keep her power all the way until the Final 8. Bayleigh said yes. Both agreed that it might not last that long. Bayleigh said she wants to get to jury and then she is fine with using it. She thinks that they can choose nominations strategically enough to create drama that would keep them safe the following week as well. Faysal asked if Bayleigh would use it if he was going up but she wasn’t. Bayleigh said she would since Faysal is the only protection that she has in the house. Both agreed that Bayleigh cannot let anyone else know about the power. Elsewhere, Rockstar told Haleigh that Brett needs to go. Haleigh figured that Scottie would want Winston out now that he threatened to target him next week. Rockstar said Scottie is still saying that he doesn’t care but he knows that Brett is the bigger threat. Rockstar said they should nominate Winston again next week. She talked about putting him up next to Angela. Haleigh said she would prefer to have Rachel up next to Winston, but she is fine with that. Meanwhile, JC told Kaycee that he is working on making Rockstar the target for next week for everyone in the house. Kaycee questioned if she is even a threat. JC said Rockstar is a vote for the other side.
8:00-9:00 PM: Haleigh and Kaitlyn discussed that Winston is going to end up going home if the nominations stay the same. Kaitlyn said he had better not win the veto. Bayleigh and Rockstar joined them. Rockstar said she thinks that Tyler works the other side, Scottie works their side, and then they meet together. Not long after that comment, Kaitlyn left the room. Rockstar mentioned thinking that Brett has to go this week. Haleigh said they will never be able to convince Haleigh of that. Haleigh and Rockstar talked about putting Winston on the block every week until he leaves. Bayleigh spoke to Rockstar to caution her about speaking openly in front of Kaitlyn due to her relationship with Tyler. Rockstar explained that what she had previously thought Kaitlyn had relayed to Tyler was like done so by Scottie instead. Rockstar said she had forgotten that she had told Scottie the same information. Rockstar headed up to the HoH room. She told Scottie she thinks that Brett has to go. Scottie said he is down with that. They discussed that Brett has influence within the house.
10:00-11:00 PM: Sam told Scottie that Winston is trying to pluck at her heart strings. Sam said it is not going to work. She added that she is underestimated but she will not let anyone control her. Sam revealed that her gut feeling is that she should keep Brett. Later, Tyler told Rachel that Brett and Winston have to work on their relationship with Sam but they cannot straight up go to her to say they want her to use the power on them. Both Rachel and Tyler agreed that that would not be good. Tyler said he doesn’t know if Sam would use the power on either of the nominees. Rachel doesn’t think that she would. Sam spoke to Scottie and Tyler. She told them that they are the two people she liked the most right off the bat. Sam reiterated that Brett is who she would keep at this point. Sam has a feeling that Winston is going to stay.
11:00-12:00 AM: In the storage room, Winston told Angela that the only way for them both to be safe is if she wins the veto, so it’s almost better to throw it to her. Angela said she thinks that Sam would be willing to use the power on them. Angela mentioned that Tyler or Kaycee have to convince her to use it. Back upstairs, Scottie said he is going to have to nominate someone who nobody would vote out if Brett or Winston win the veto. Sam said to put her up. Scottie said he wouldn’t do that, but Sam made him pinky promise that he would. Both Scottie and Tyler said that they don’t like the idea. Sam said Scottie can tell people that she is being nominated because she is his biggest mental threat due to her memory. She told him to cry while doing it since he doesn’t want her to go. Scottie said the easy thing would be to nominate Kaitlyn since she nominated him. Tyler said Kaitlyn wouldn’t go either. Faysal made his way upstairs. He asked Scottie about his plan for the veto competition. Scottie said the plan is to leave the nominations the same. Faysal said Scottie can pick him if he wants, but he is not going to beg to play if everyone is going to leave nominations the same. Scottie said he would feel comfortable with Faysal competing. As for the replacement nominee, Scottie said Angela, Kaycee, Rachel and Sam would all vote to keep each other if one of the four were to go up. He mentioned that he is considering them and Kaitlyn. Downstairs, Sam let Kaitlyn know that se isn’t planning on using her power on Brett or Winston. When Kaitlyn asked when it expires, Sam didn’t give that answer. Sam told Kaitlyn that she will use the power if Kaitlyn ends up on the block, as she would like to repay her for keeping her, but she doesn’t have a big allegiance to Brett or Winston.
12:00-1:00 AM: Tyler talked to Sam about her power. She said she would rather use it on herself than to have no control over what happens to it next week. Tyler asked what happens if she needs it for herself next week. Sam said they have to make sure that that doesn’t happen. Sam talked about how they would need to control who leaves next week, potentially making it someone that they like just so they can have them come back. Sam said she is going to use the power on Kaitlyn this week if she goes up. Tyler worried that Scottie would be upset if he puts Sam up, she gets voted out, and then he finds out that she had this power. Sam said they can tell Scottie about the power then. Tyler said no. He told her to tell him not to put her up instead. Tyler said if Sam doesn’t want Brett or Winston to go, she could use the power on one of them. Sam said no. She told Tyler that she would only use the power on him, Kaycee, Scottie, herself, or Kaitlyn. Sam said she would use it on Kaitlyn since she gave her word to her.
