Big Brother 20 Day 30 - Winston is evicted; Sam wins HoH
July 19, 2018
6:00-7:00 PM: During tonight’s live eviction episode, Brett asked Kaitlyn for her vote during his speech. He said he is asking for it because Rockstar told him she plans to flip her vote, making it 6-5, so she can pin it on Kaitlyn. Winston was then evicted by a vote of 6-5. Sam did not use her power, so it will automatically be played next week. After the vote, Rockstar told Brett she cannot believe that he would do drag her name through the mud on her daughter’s birthday like that. Brett replied by saying that she can’t even own what she did. Rockstar said she hasn’t even talked to him in three days. She told him that the public saw she voted to evict him, and they will get him out again. The HoH endurance competition got underway at 6:53.
7:00-8:00 PM: The HoH competition continued on the live feeds. The houseguests dropped out in the following order: Rockstar (24 minutes), Faysal (30 minutes), Brett (33 minutes), Bayleigh (33 minutes), Angela (40 minutes), Rachel (40 minutes), Haleigh (49 minutes), JC (52 minutes), Kaitlyn (60 minutes), Kaycee (60 minutes), Tyler (1 hour 2 minutes). Sam is the new HoH. Before Tyler jumped off, Sam told him to jump and she will not put him on the block. While they were up on the wall, JC asked Kaitlyn if she flipped. She swore on her parents and her boyfriend that she did not. She asked if JC is kidding. He said they can talk in private later.
8:00-9:00 PM: Bayleigh told Faysal she is sick of people flipping on them every week. She said she only chose this side because of Faysal and Swaggy. Faysal mentioned that Bayleigh can use her power to put Tyler up this week. Bayleigh said no. She said she would be wasting it to not be safe. Bayleigh doesn’t think that Sam will nominate either of them. She also said that Tyler would win the veto if he goes up anyway. Faysal asked Kaitlyn what is going on. Kaitlyn said she thinks she knows who flipped. She said Rockstar and Bayleigh flipped. Kaitlyn swore that it wasn’t her. Faysal said he doesn’t know what’s going on anymore. Kaitlyn told Faysal and JC she thinks that Brett is telling the truth. She explained that Tyler swore on his father’s grave that he didn’t do it. Kaitlyn later said she will kill herself if it was Tyler. Kaitlyn went to Brett to ask about Rockstar coming to him. Brett said it was quick and Tyler saw it. Brett explained that Rockstar was saying nobody would see them working together, and she is going to pin it on Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn asked if they are going to have a fresh start. Brett said yes. Kaitlyn said she believes Brett. Haleigh joined them. Kaitlyn said she will not be associating with Rockstar or working with her moving forward. Haleigh commented on it being odd that Rockstar is reacting so intensely. Kaitlyn asked Haleigh to swear on her mother that she voted Brett out. Haleigh refused, leading Kaitlyn to say that she can tell Haleigh his lying. Kaitlyn said Haleigh is smiling and she is a bad liar. Haleigh insisted that she voted Brett out. She also let Kaitlyn know that she doesn’t appreciate her confronting her in front of people. Brett was also in the room at the time. Kaitlyn asked who would have flipped then. She said it would have been ridiculous for Rockstar to keep Brett after his speech. Haleigh said she might have stuck to it. Tyler joined Brett and Kaitlyn. Tyler suggested that he was freaking out so much cause he saw Rockstar talking to Brett. Kaitlyn asked if Tyler kept Brett. Tyler said he voted him out. Tyler reminded Kaitlyn that he told her all week that he was in the dark.
9:00-10:00 PM: Haleigh told Bayleigh about Kaitlyn confronting her in front of Brett when she just voted to evict him. Haleigh asked if Bayleigh flipped. Bayleigh said no and they had agreed that they would flip together if they were going to do that. Haleigh mentioned Kaitlyn saying it had to be Bayleigh and Rockstar who flipped while they were up on the wall. Bayleigh asked if Haleigh wants her to go punch her in the face. Haleigh said no. Bayleigh said she is pissed off since she is never in the loop on anything. Bayleigh said she was fine with either nominee going but she wanted to be kept informed. Bayleigh thinks that Kaitlyn gave Tyler permission to flip and she agreed to cover for him. Bayleigh let Haleigh know that JC walked up to her before the vote to say that Kaitlyn is playing them all and she is about to flip. Haleigh responded by saying “wow”. Bayleigh said she is pissed at Faysal because he questioned her about flipping. Bayleigh added that she is at the bottom of the totem pole, as Faysal believes everyone more than he believes her. Kaitlyn joined the girls. She said she has the full story. Kaitlyn said Tyler apparently saw Rockstar approach Brett this morning, which is why Tyler was asking if she is sure that she trusts everyone. Kaitlyn then said Rockstar asked Brett who would be least likely to work together, bringing up that she will flip and blame it on Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn said she doesn’t think that Rockstar flipped after Brett’s speech. Bayleigh agreed. Kaitlyn again brought up Tyler seeing Rockstar talking to Brett. Bayleigh asked Kaitlyn to have Tyler come tell her that. Tyler spoke to Bayleigh. He said he never once claimed to have seen Brett and Rockstar having a conversation like that. He said he doesn’t know why Kaitlyn is bringing him into this. Tyler did say he saw lots of conversations taking place. Bayleigh said she believes Tyler 100%. Tyler brought up Kaitlyn trying to make him swear on his father. Bayleigh said Kaitlyn is claiming that Tyler did it. Tyler denied having done it. He said he just cleared it up with Kaitlyn. Afterwards, Tyler spoke to Kaitlyn to let her know that she cannot throw his name out there, cause then the telephone game happens and his name will be in the mix of something that he was not a part of. Kaitlyn said she is sorry. Elsewhere, Bayleigh told Faysal and Haleigh that Tyler is denying having told Kaitlyn that he saw Brett and Rockstar speaking. She also said he is denying having sworn on his father. Haleigh said that means Kaitlyn made it up and is the one who flipped.
10:00-11:00 PM: Faysal asked Bayleigh why Haleigh would think that she is going up if there is a girls alliance. Bayleigh said there isn’t a girls alliance and she had only told him that there were talks about forming one. Bayleigh said something about Kaitlyn’s story isn’t adding up, since she said yesterday that Brett would tell her today who flipped, yet she is saying Rockstar only spoke to Brett today. Kaitlyn had told Bayleigh earlier this evening that it was not the same person. Faysal asked if Bayleigh told Haleigh about the power. Bayleigh said no and told Faysal she regrets telling him. She is worried that he will slip up after it’s used. Faysal assured Bayleigh that he will not. Bayleigh mentioned it sucks since she wanted to use her power to get a big threat out, not a bully of a little girl. Faysal said he thought she wanted Tyler out. Bayleigh said she does since he is a competition threat and he is loyal to Kaitlyn. Bayleigh said she hopes Sam has some sense and puts Kaitlyn up. Faysal asked if Bayleigh will use her power if he is going up next to Kaitlyn. Bayleigh said she is going to say yes but she will kill him if they don’t win HoH next week. In the storage room, JC vented to Angela about Rachel. He is concerned by her behaviour in the past hour. He is worried that Rachel will tell people that he flipped his vote. Sam avoiding talking about her nominations with people. She said she is not going to have one on ones, and she will let people know who is going up once she gets her HoH room. Sam asked Brett if what he said about Rockstar is true. Brett said yes.
11:00-12:00 AM: Faysal told JC that if he voted to evict Brett, he really doesn’t know what’s going on. Faysal made it clear that he is frustrated with people who are supposed to be working with him lying to him. JC blamed Kaitlyn for flipping. JC told Faysal that Kaitlyn will be going on the block next to Haleigh. Faysal said that’s perfect since they are supposed to be closest to him yet one of them is lying to him. JC said he thinks that Brett and Kaitlyn planned this all out. Faysal later agreed. He mentioned knowing something about Kaitlyn that would make her look really bad if he exposes it on national television. Faysal said that’s how he knows that Kaitlyn wouldn’t nominate him, cause he would put her on blast. Later, Kaitlyn asked Faysal to talk. He didn’t want to talk. He asked what she wants to talk about. When Kaitlyn said she wants to talk alone, and said he is hurting her feelings, Faysal said he doesn’t care. Faysal and Kaitlyn went to talk alone. Kaitlyn said it’s making her physically ill that Faysal is questioning her. She said all she does is play the game for him. Kaitlyn said she only trusts Faysal and Tyler. Faysal said he doesn’t trust anybody. Faysal pointed out that someone is lying to him. Kaitlyn said it’s not her. Faysal noted that she was speaking to Brett for 30 minutes, which doesn’t add up. Kaitlyn asked if she is not allowed to talk to him. Faysal said no, not after she evicted him. Kaitlyn told Faysal he can leave. She said her heart is broken and she doesn’t care if he doesn’t want to believe her. Faysal told Kaitlyn to stop crying since it’s not helping. Kaitlyn asked how she is supposed to prove herself to him. He told her to be creative. When Kaitlyn pointed out that Brett embarrassed her, Faysal said that doing this is the perfect game move. Sam got her HoH room. She told everyone that she will not be having one on one conversations. Sam made it clear that her mind is made up as far as who she will nominate, but she will not tell anyone since she is not allowed to.
12:00-1:00 AM: Haleigh, Kaitlyn and Rockstar spoke about the votes. At one point, Haleigh asked if it’s possible that Sam flipped two votes and that’s why Brett was so sure that he had Rockstar’s vote locked in. Kaitlyn said sh thinks that Haleigh just figured it out. Kaitlyn brought up that Sam was called into the diary room just before the live show, which is when she would have locked in her power, and she was cackling after she came back out. Kaitlyn said that is the only logical explanation since she believes everyone who is saying that they didn’t flip. Kaitlyn went to Tyler to fill him in on the theory. While he initially disagreed, he later played along with it. He told Kaitlyn that she is a mastermind. Tyler said they aren’t going to believe that 100% but they wont believe the alternative options 100% either. Kaitlyn then spoke to Bayleigh, Haleigh and JC. Bayleigh didn’t agree that a power was used. Bayleigh said Kaitlyn told them that a power was used in week one as well. Kaitlyn questioned if Bayleigh really wants to go there with her. Bayleigh eventually told Kaitlyn that she doesn’t like being pushed and she doesn’t like her delivery on some things. Kaitlyn said she is sorry, but Bayleigh didn’t find it to be a sincere apology. Bayleigh left the room. She told Kaitlyn not to go around bullying her and making her do things that she doesn’t want to do. Kaitlyn was not happy about being called a bully.
1:00-2:00 AM: Bayleigh went to Tyler to tell him that she is going to have a meltdown and attack Kaitlyn if she keeps pushing her. Tyler suggested that Bayleigh talk to him instead. Bayleigh said no one can touch Kaitlyn since Tyler protects everything she does. Tyler said he doesn’t do that. He assured Bayleigh that he sees what Kaitlyn does. Tyler explained how he deals with Kaitlyn since similar things happen to him all of the time. When Bayleigh spoke to Haleigh, she asked who Kaitlyn would need to be nominated next to in order to go home. Haleigh said to put her up next to her. While Haleigh admitted that she doesn’t want Sam to put her up, she said she would feel most comfortable on the block next to Kaitlyn. Rockstar took the pots and pans out to sing about Brett being her best friend. She followed him around the house after first sitting in his bed with him. After it went on for a while, Sam asked that Rockstar stop until morning. Rockstar agreed to do so.
