Big Brother 20 Day 38 - Bayleigh nominates Brett and Rachel
July 27, 2018
12:00-1:00 PM: Sam had her one on one with Bayleigh, as she was the only one who had not yet spoken to her. Bayleigh said she thinks that she has come close to deciding what to do. Bayleigh assured Sam that she will not be touching her. Bayleigh also let Sam know that she is not going to touch Tyler this week. Sam asked if Bayleigh loves Kaycee too, which Bayleigh confirmed that she does. Bayleigh added that she has a special place in her heart for Haleigh and Faysal as well, and she doesn’t want to bother Rockstar after her tough week last week. Bayleigh said that leaves Scottie, JC, Rachel and Brett. Bayleigh said she is going to nominate Brett. Bayleigh said she is hesitant to have a little munchkin running around with her name in his mouth if she nominates JC. As for Scottie, Bayleigh said he is a competition beast. She worried about putting him up, having him win the veto, and then being mad at her. Bayleigh said she has talked to Rachel the least and she doesn’t think that Rachel will be as mad at her. Sam pointed out that Scottie promised his loyalty to Bayleigh. Bayleigh said people feel weird about Scottie but she doesn’t, and it makes sense to nominate Brett and Rachel next to each other. Sam suggested that Bayleigh choose Tyler to play in the veto competition if she gets houseguest’s choice. Sam said she can tell him to prove something to her by keeping nominations the same. Rachel spoke to Bayleigh to reassure her that she has her back. Rachel acknowledged that JC will go in turmoil if he goes up, so she suggested nominating Scottie. Rachel said she has Brett wrapped around her finger, making Brett and Scottie going on the block the perfect scenario. Bayleigh brought up Scottie saying he wants to work with her. Bayleigh said she is not afraid of JC but she is weighing the options. Bayleigh let Rachel know that she is still considering her as a pawn. Bayleigh then revealed her power to Rachel. Bayleigh said it gives her the opportunity to trump the HoH’s nominations, putting two people on the block. Rachel said that’s a relief that Bayleigh could trump Scottie’s nominations if he wins HoH. Bayleigh said she would probably nominate Scottie and Tyler with the power app. As for this week’s nominations, Bayleigh confirmed that it will be Brett nominated next to either JC or Rachel. Bayleigh worried that JC would leave if he is nominated next to Brett, and then she is stuck with Brett who has no loyalty to her.
1:00-2:00 PM: Rachel asked Bayleigh if she feels comfortable telling Kaycee about the power. Bayleigh said the more people she tells about it, the less people she can use it on. Bayleigh said she needs Faysal in the game, so she will have to use her power if Angela and Kaycee are going after him. Rachel said they need to get Scottie out before the double eviction. Bayleigh said she plans to use her power next week if Faysal or Rachel don’t win HoH. When Rachel brought up backdooring Scottie this week, Bayleigh said that would be so good for Rachel but not necessarily good for her. Rachel eventually said she thinks it’s best that Bayleigh puts her up. Rachel asked if Bayleigh thinks it’s the best decision. Bayleigh said she does. Bayleigh told Rachel she will nominate Scottie if the veto is used. Rachel backtracked and said she would rather not go up. Bayleigh said she will talk to JC and then make a decision. Rachel assured Bayleigh that she will trust her either way, but she is concerned that Scottie could have the second power and then she will go home. Bayleigh let JC know that the decision came down to nominating him or one other person as a pawn. Bayleigh said if she puts the other person up instead, she needs to be sure that they are solid together moving forward. JC told Bayleigh he has six or seven people he would target before her. Meanwhile, Rachel let Angela know that Bayleigh has a power that will allow her to control nominations. Rachel said Bayleigh will use it to protect them. She said Bayleigh wants Brett, Scottie and Tyler out. Rachel talked about having created a strong bond with Bayleigh by knowing about her power.
2:00-3:00 PM: Angela and Rachel discussed that Scottie needs to go this week. Angela said they will remain solid with Level 6 but they will have an alliance with Bayleigh and Kaycee as a Plan B. Rachel said she wants to be nominated so that she can win the veto and have a hand in Scottie going home. Back in the HoH room, Bayleigh told JC that she was deciding between nominating him or nominating Rachel next to Brett. Bayleigh explained that the other side will lose a number no matter what if Rachel goes up. She told JC that he will not be the replacement nominee either. Bayleigh then let Haleigh in on the plan. She pulled Faysal in to tell him to never say that anything she is doing is a bad move. She told Faysal to trust her. She then let him know that he can stop running around in a panic, being team JC. Bayleigh said she will not be nominating JC. Bayleigh told Faysal that his loyalty should be to her and to Haleigh only. Faysal told the girls that he doesn’t need to be questioned by them with regards to where he stands, especially by Haleigh. Faysal and Haleigh then had a little spat before the conversation ended with Haleigh walking out. Faysal told Bayleigh that Haleigh is pissing him off. He said said he used the veto on her when JC was a potential replacement nominee, so he doesn’t like that she is questioning if he has their backs over JC’s. Bayleigh said she thinks that Haleigh was alarmed by Faysal coming to bat so strongly for JC. Bayleigh went to the have-not room to clarify with Rachel that her power does not allow her to choose a replacement nominee. Rachel asked if Bayleigh is open to using the veto if she wins it. Bayleigh said she would be, especially on Rachel since it would show a lot if she takes her down in order to nominate another guy. Bayleigh confirmed that she is leaning towards nominating Rachel.
3:00-4:00 PM: Faysal told Tyler he doesn’t think that Bayleigh is going to touch him this week. Tyler said it will prove to him that he can work with Bayleigh moving forward. Faysal mentioned that Brett seems to be the target. If Brett leaves, Faysal said there will only be four guys left and they sill have to nominate two girls if they win HoH. Tyler agreed. Faysal asked Tyler who he thinks voted to evict Rockstar. Tyler said he doesn’t know. Faysal told Tyler he doesn’t think that it was him, seeing as that would be too easy. Faysal said it would be dope if the two of them work together after Kaitlyn tried to pin them against each other. Rockstar went to Bayleigh to say she is concerned about JC going on the block. Bayleigh said she is going to nominate Rachel next to Brett. They agreed that it has to be done that way since JC would end up going, then the other side wouldn’t lose a number. In the have-not room, Brett and Rachel discussed that they are likely going on the block together. Rachel felt more optimistic about their chances of getting through the week than Brett did. She said Bayleigh has told her that she will use the veto on her, and she trusts that. Rachel said Scottie would then go up and go home. Brett still thought it would be better for him to go up next to JC instead of next to Rachel.
4:00-5:00 PM: Rachel checked in with Bayleigh one more time, asking why she wouldn’t use Angela as a pawn. Bayleigh said she promised her loyalty on Day 2. Rachel asked about Kaycee next. Bayleigh said Kaycee came to her before she even had a relationship with Rachel. Rachel asked if Bayleigh is scared of nominating JC because he will gun for her. Bayleigh explained that she doesn’t care if JC guns for her but she is worried about him running his mouth. She added that a lot of people do not want JC on the block, so they will be upset with her if she does that. Bayleigh looked for a reason why Scottie isn’t going up. Bayleigh said she doesn’t want him to win the veto and she believes that he has the second power. Rachel mentioned that she would offer to be the replacement nominee if Brett and Scottie go up. Bayleigh asked what would happen if Brett wins the veto. Rachel said she thinks that she would stay. Rachel asked if Bayleigh would actually nominate Scottie if she wins the veto. Bayleigh said yes. She told Rachel she feels as though Scottie would stay over Brett. Rachel asked if Bayleigh would nominate Brett and Tyler. Bayleigh said no since she told Tyler that she would not touch him this week.
5:00-6:00 PM: Rachel told Brett that Bayleigh wants to nominate the two of them. She said she tried to change her mind. Brett asked if Rachel really thinks that Bayleigh would nominate Scottie. Rachel said she doesn’t know anymore. Rachel said she thinks that she played this wrong since she shouldn’t ever have said that she was comfortable with being a pawn. Brett said he is curious how the vote would go if he is up against Scottie. Rachel told Brett he would have four votes for sure from his Level 6 allies. She said Sam is also pissed at Scottie for the vote to evict Rockstar. Feeds went down at 5:19 for the nomination ceremony.
6:00-7:00 PM: Feeds returned at 6:09 following the nomination ceremony. Bayleigh nominated Brett and Rachel for eviction. Kaycee told Rachel they have to focus on winning the veto. Rachel said Bayleigh promised to use the veto on her but she has been hammering home that she wants Brett to go now. Kaycee said she trusts her and has no doubts that Scottie will be backdoored. Rachel said they have to work together with Angela to get Bayleigh’s mind off of Brett. In the storage room, Faysal told JC he has got him and he should not be ungrateful. Faysal explained that JC was 100% going on the block this week but he convinced Bayleigh to nominate Rachel. JC wasn’t fully buying it. Faysal said a thank you would be appreciated. JC thanked Faysal but pointed out that he has been doing the same for Faysal the entire time. Faysal told JC he has to make sure that everyone votes Brett out if the nominations stay the same. JC said they have to wait until after the nominations are locked in. Up in the HoH room, Bayleigh told Kaycee it sucked she had to do that to Rachel but the backlash of doing it to JC would have been worse. Kaycee agreed. Bayleigh revealed that Rachel asked her why she can’t put Angela or Kaycee on the block. Bayleigh said she does not want Rachel to go this week. In the have-not room, Rachel told Brett she is confused because Bayleigh was talking about backdooring Scottie but now she seems focused on getting Brett out. Brett asked if Bayleigh told her that he is the target. Rachel said she basically told her that.
7:00-8:00 PM: Rachel started to get paranoid about being on the block. She told Kaycee that this is not good since she could be screwed if Brett wins the veto. Rachel is worried that Scottie has a power and then she will go home. Rachel said she is going to corner JC in order to get him to tell her if he has the power. Rachel questioned how Bayleigh shifting her target from Scottie to Brett is doing anything for their games. Kaycee said Bayleigh does not care about their games. Kaycee added that Bayleigh is sticking with her original side or trying to take their side down. Rachel plans to tell Bayleigh she has to nominate Rockstar or someone like that if Brett wins the veto, because Bayleigh would be risking her game if not. Rachel went on to say that Bayleigh shouldn’t have put her up. Kaycee brought up that Rachel said it was okay to put her up. Rachel said she did but it was only for a brief second before she changed her mind. While Rachel doesn’t think that people want her to go, but she doesn’t think that they realize she could be in danger depending on the powers that are out there.
8:00-9:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Angela asked Bayleigh who she thinks is more threatening out of Brett and Scottie. Bayleigh said Brett is a bigger threat to her since he has made it clear that he is only working with certain people. Haleigh and Rockstar agreed with Bayleigh. Angela said she thinks that she can control Brett. Bayleigh admitted that it’s better for Angela’s game to have Brett stay. Haleigh said she doesn’t think that Brett would ever work with her, considering that she has given him the opportunity to multiple times with no luck. Angela mentioned that Brett is someone who will vote the way that he says he is going to. The girls decided that they needed to end their meeting. Bayleigh said they have to make sure that the guys are not making a thing. Haleigh said they shouldn’t be leaving them alone. JC spoke to Bayleigh. He let her know that Faysal came to him after nominations and said “you’re welcome”, claiming that he is the reason that Bayleigh didn’t put him up. Bayleigh said that’s annoying since it was her decision and Faysal wasn’t the only one saying not to nominate JC. They discussed that it would be in everyone’s best interest to keep the nominations the same.
9:00-10:00 PM: Tyler came upstairs to speak to Bayleigh. She asked if he wants to play in the veto competition. Tyler said he would like to. He asked if he is a backdoor option. Bayleigh said no. Bayleigh told Tyler that he is not a threat to her game even though he is a physical threat. Bayleigh explained that their games are different enough for that not to matter. Bayleigh told Tyler she is still considering that he might have a power. She said she is deciding between him, JC and Scottie. Tyler said he is deciding between her and those two. Both claimed that they do not have a power. Bayleigh asked Tyler where he stands with Scottie. Tyler said he still feels good with him. Haleigh was the next to speak to Bayleigh. She mentioned Sam questioning if the girls alliance is a thing. Haleigh said they have to get on the same page, have a meeting, and create a name if they are going to roll with it. Bayleigh then let Haleigh know that Faysal said “you’re welcome” to JC, claiming to be the only reason that he is not on the block. She said he also told Tyler that Bayleigh will be good with him moving forward if he does whatever she wants this week. Bayleigh said she has to figure out how to talk to Faysal about his behaviour. Bayleigh told Haleigh that Kaitlyn said before she left that Haleigh is a liar since she knew about Swaggy going up three days before it happened. Bayleigh said it doesn’t matter to her. Before Haleigh could reply, Kaycee broke up the conversation. In the have-not room, Tyler told Rachel he is going to try to make Bayleigh believe that Scottie is his best friend. He explained that she might go after his best friend if he uses the veto. Rachel said she has already been promised that Scottie will go on the block.
10:00-11:00 PM: Kaycee asked Bayleigh if she has a plan for the replacement nominee. Bayleigh said she had planned to put Scottie up. She said the problem is that she is screwed if she puts Scottie up next to Rachel and Rachel goes home. Bayleigh said she would like to win the veto so that she can keep nominations the same, telling people they need to promise to evict Brett if she is going to do that.
