Big Brother 20 Day 40
July 29, 2018
10:00-11:00 AM: While everyone else was asleep, Kaycee and Sam chatted in the backyard. Kaycee said the girls are really talking about the girls alliance, but she isn’t a 100% loyal to it. Sam said she takes it all with a grain of salt. Kaycee said there are a few girls that she cannot trust. Sam said she has decided that it’s Kaycee and Tyler for her, so all she cares about is protecting them. Sam said she will have to make a decision on everyone else. Sam told Kaycee she loves Angela and thinks that Angela loves her too. Kaycee said she really does. Kaycee added that she really trusts Angela. Sam said she will protect Kaycee and Tyler at all costs, followed by Angela and Scottie if something happens to those two. Kaycee said they should try to make it as far as they can together.
12:00-1:00 PM: Angela and Kaycee discussed that Rachel is digging her own grave this week. Angela said she is worried about what will happen if they vote Rachel out when Bayleigh wants Brett to go. She mentioned that they might have to tell her the day before. Angela said they can bring up that Bayleigh wanted to work together with the three of them but Rachel has approached both of them individually with a Final 2 deal. Angela also said Bayleigh told Rachel something in confidence about a power that someone has, which Rachel then told her. Angela said Bayleigh will be pissed at Rachel if she finds out that she told her, so they can use that against her as well. Kaycee said they just have to be careful because they don’t want Rachel to blow up their games. Tyler had a quick word with the girls. They talked about how Tyler might be able to get the guys on board with keeping Brett by pointing out that numbers advantage that the girls have. Tyler said the three of them, Faysal and JC is all that they would need. Angela and Kaycee then continued talking. Angela said the fact that Rachel threw everyone’s name under the bus shows that she is not looking out for the group. Angela also doesn’t think it would have made any sense for Tyler to say that he would only use the veto if she goes up. Kaycee agreed. The girls said they trust Tyler.
1:00-2:00 PM: The have-not reveal took place. Bayleigh read a card that said the three have-nots for the week are the houseguests who were furthest from winning the HoH competition. Faysal, Scottie and Tyler are the have-nots for the week. Out in the yard, Brett pitched to Tyler to use the veto on him. He pointed out the numerical advantage that the girls have. Tyler said JC told him he would keep Brett, but Brett said he feels more comfortable with two girls on the block. Brett mentioned that there is a chance Bayleigh would nominate someone other than Angela, but they can keep Angela if she goes up. Brett isn’t sure if he will have the votes if he stays up. Tyler said he will get JC and Sam to vote for him. As for Angela and Kaycee, Tyler said they were talking all day and night about how much Rachel is freaking them out.
2:00-3:00 PM: Rachel asked Brett if he has talked to Tyler. Brett said nobody is talking to him since he is on the block. Rachel specifically asked if Brett spoke to Tyler. Brett said he hasn’t had the chance to. Rachel brought up Tyler saying that Angela will be the replacement nominee. Rachel said she doesn’t believe that. Brett said he thinks Bayleigh is bluffing. Rachel believes that Tyler is no longer with them. Up in the HoH room, Faysal spoke to Bayleigh and Rockstar about Brett making a pitch to him last night. He talked about Brett bringing up that it will be seven girls against four guys if he leaves. Faysal said Rachel will not nominate a girl if she wins HoH. Bayleigh said Rachel wont nominate him either. Faysal said he believes that. Rockstar said Brett’s pitch is dumb since three girls went on the block last week when Sam won HoH. Faysal explained that he is okay with the girls targeting the guys, because he knows that what he has with Bayleigh, Haleigh and Rockstar takes precedence over that. Faysal said he will not be voting to keep Brett, which will show that he is with them. After Rockstar left the room, Bayleigh let Faysal know that Sam is not for the girls alliance at all. Faysal assured Bayleigh that he will be voting Brett out no matter what he pitches him. JC joined them. He asked if they think that there is a girls alliance. Bayleigh said no. She told JC to talk to Sam since Sam has made it very clear that a girls alliance is not going to happen. JC brought up that he doesn’t believe Scottie when he says that he didn’t flip last week. They discussed making this week’s vote unanimous. If it’s not and Scottie flips again, Bayleigh said everyone will be going after him.
3:00-4:00 PM: Faysal let JC know that Brett talked to him about the girls outnumbering them 7-4 if he leaves. JC said he doesn’t think that there is a girls alliance. They discussed that a girls alliance would never work even if there is one. Later, Tyler told JC that Angela, Kaycee, Rachel and Sam don’t treat the girls alliance as a real thing, but Bayleigh, Haleigh and Rockstar do. JC said he doesn’t want Tyler to use the veto. Tyler asked who he should vote out if nominations stay the same. JC said he doesn’t care. JC talked about having a feeling that Kaitlyn needed to go last week, but he doesn’t have a feeling this week. Tyler asked JC to promise him that he will keep Brett if he doesn’t use the veto. JC said he will do whatever Tyler wants to do but he needs to know the plan, cause he will have to smooth things over with Faysal if he is keeping Brett. Tyler said they have a better chance of staying over Brett if he is on the block next to them. JC said he understands. Tyler said Angela and Kaycee will vote Rachel out. Tyler told JC that Bayleigh has to go. JC agreed. Tyler let JC know that he will be pissed at him if he doesn’t vote Rachel out this week, cause he is saving JC by not using the veto. JC said he will vote Rachel out. JC told Tyler that Haleigh is completely involved with Faysal, and he thinks that they are about to get into a showmance. JC said that’s a vote that he will always have. JC told Tyler he thinks that Faysal might have flipped the vote this week. Tyler said he is thinking it’s between Faysal, Brett, Rachel and Scottie.
4:00-5:00 PM: Scottie told Tyler that Rachel is wanting him to go on the block in her place. Tyler said he knows. Scottie suggested that that’s further evidence of her being the one who flipped the vote. Tyler let Scottie know that he doesn’t want to use the veto since he doesn’t want him to go on the block. As for the vote, Scottie thinks that the house will vote to evict Brett since it’s easier. He mentioned that they should follow suit. Tyler said he is worried about the girls alliance. Scottie said he will be nominating two girls next week, which he thinks should be a universal plan. He talked about nominating Rachel next to Angela. Before the talk wrapped up, Tyler said he trusts Bayleigh and will feel good with her if he does what she wants this week. Scottie said that he trusts her as well.
5:00-6:00 PM: Faysal told Scottie that the two of them and Tyler need to have a conversation. Faysal is concerned that the girls are picking off the guys and are also trying to get them to take each other out. Scottie said Tyler brought up the same thing. Faysal said the three of them are the best physical competitors, so they cannot turn on each other when everyone else is already going to be coming after them. Scottie said he wants to go after Angela and Rachel if he wins HoH. Faysal asked if Tyler would be on the same page. Scottie said Tyler agreed when he brought it up to him earlier today.
6:00-7:00 PM: Brett told Angela he thinks that Bayleigh is bluffing about nominating her. Angela agreed. Angela told Brett that Rachel is claiming Tyler went up there to say Angela needs to go on the block. Both agreed that it doesn’t make any sense. Angela thinks Rachel realizes that she is screwed after what she has done. Angela told Brett that they will be voting Rachel out. Brett is concerned that they will not have the numbers to keep him. Angela said they have her, Kaycee and Tyler for sure, then JC made a deal to vote how Tyler wants if he doesn’t use the veto, and she will get Sam on board by telling her what Rachel did. Angela said she would have lost faith in her alliance if she hadn’t figure out what Rachel was doing. Angela mentioned that Brett could always out the girls alliance in his veto speech, pinning it on Rockstar, in order to get the guys to vote the girl out. Brett still wanted the veto to be used on him. Angela questioned if it’s worth it when Tyler would get all of the blood on his hands in hope of potentially keeping someone who is running around, freaking out, and ruining their games. Brett said he will trust the alliance but he would like to come off of the block.
7:00-8:00 PM: Rachel spoke to Angela and Kaycee about what happened last night. She still thinks that Tyler went to Bayleigh to say to put Angela up. Angela and Kaycee weren’t so sure about that. Angela questioned why they are believing someone outside of their alliance over someone who they have been working with since the beginning. Rachel said she thinks that Tyler wanted one of them out since his numbers were dwindling. Rachel thinks that Scottie would go on the block if the veto is used. Angela asked why she isn’t telling Tyler that. Rachel said she will have a conversation with him. Rachel did that, asking why Tyler is saying that Angela will be the replacement nominee. Tyler said Bayleigh told her that she would be. Tyler explained that Bayleigh wouldn’t tell Rachel the same thing when she knows that she is close with Angela. Rachel realized that Bayleigh was lying to her. She asked if Tyler is going to use the veto. Tyler said he isn’t sure but he is trying to make Brett, Scottie and himself look like a trio so that Scottie will go up if he uses it. When Rachel said Bayleigh would nominate Scottie, Tyler said Bayleigh is just telling her what she wants to hear. At the end of the talk, Rachel apologized to Tyler. She said things make more sense now. Rachel then spoke to Angela and Kaycee. She told them that she now understands that Bayleigh was the one lying to her.
8:00-9:00 PM: Tyler let Kaycee know that he talked to Rachel to clear up her confusion. Kaycee asked if Tyler is contemplating using the veto. Tyler said he really doesn’t think that he can use it, because the whole house would be mad at him. Kaycee said the people who would be mad are already coming after him anyway. Tyler also said he doesn’t want to risk Angela going up. Kaycee said she thinks that Scottie would go on the block. Kaycee brought up that Tyler could expose the girls alliance, but Tyler said everyone already knows about it. Tyler then let Angela know that he doesn’t think he can use the veto. He said he really thinks that she would be nominated. Angela said she does too. Tyler mentioned that Rachel is also so up in the air. Angela said she doesn’t trust Rachel. Tyler said he needs to make sure that Sam is on board with voting her out. Tyler said JC has promised to vote Rachel out if he doesn’t use the veto. Tyler informed Angela that Scottie wants to nominate her next to Rachel if Rachel stays. He also revealed that Faysal and Scottie want to have a talk with him tonight in the have-not room. Tyler said Faysal was telling him that there is a girls alliance last week, yet he is now backtracking because he wants him to vote to evict Brett.
10:00-11:00 PM: Rachel told Angela she now thinks that Tyler went to Bayleigh wanting to use the veto, then Bayleigh scared him by saying she is going to nominate Angela if he uses it. Rachel thinks Scottie would go up. Angela said it’s not worth risking it, since Tyler would be in a really bad position if he uses it. Rachel agreed. She pointed out that Bayleigh can change the nominations with her power, which she would like use to nominate Brett and Tyler if Tyler uses the veto this week. Angela asked if Bayleigh can change nominations after the veto. Rachel said she can only change the initial nominations. Angela said they will have to stay on Bayleigh’s good side and do whatever she wants. Rachel said they can’t nominate Faysal or Haleigh. Afterwards, Angela went to Tyler to let him know that Bayleigh has the power and she can change nominations. Angela said Tyler is likely going to be nominated next week if he pisses Bayleigh off this week. Tyler didn’t understand why Bayleigh would tell Rachel about the power. Angela said she has no idea. Tyler said he will not be using the veto. He informed Angela that Sam will be voting to evict Rachel. Angela said that’s perfect. While playing chess, Haleigh and Scottie discussed their options for the week. Scottie said Rachel would likely target him first, followed by Faysal, Haleigh and Tyler. As for Brett, he thinks he would target Rockstar and Bayleigh. Haleigh said it sucks either way. Haleigh mentioned that they cannot flip their votes when the alliance wants Brett gone. Scottie agreed. He said the alliance takes priority. Haleigh said they would have to change everyone’s minds if they decided to keep Brett. Scottie said there is no way that their side would get on board with that.
11:00-12:00 AM: Bayleigh told Haleigh and Rockstar that somebody is going to have to get JC away from Faysal. She said he is exercising more and more control over Faysal ever day. As for this week, Haleigh said Brett needs to go since he is bringing up to Faysal that there will only be four boys left if he leaves. Haleigh said Brett is pitching that the four boys and Sam can align. Bayleigh brought up that they still need the boys to win HoH to take out the girls for them. Haleigh said Faysal, Scottie and Tyler need to take those shots that they cant take. Bayleigh let the girls know that Scottie has been saying he is drifting away from Tyler, yet Tyler told her that Scottie is the only one that he can trust. Bayleigh said to watch for that.
12:00-1:00 AM: Out in the hot tub, Faysal and Scottie discussed the pitch that Brett has been making to them. They agreed that Brett doesn’t have the votes to stay. Scottie said it’s too early to blow up the girls alliance even if it’s true. Scottie said they can give the girls what they want this week, then try to pick off Angela, Rachel and Kaycee in the next three weeks. In the have-not room, Tyler told Brett that Angela said Bayleigh told Rachel she got the power. Tyler revealed that Bayleigh has the ability to change the nominations. Tyler explained that he cannot use the veto for a number of reasons. He said Bayleigh would then nominate the two of them next week with her power, plus the other side would be mad at him, as would Angela because she would go up. Tyler assured Brett that they have the votes to keep him. Tyler encouraged Brett to continue hanging out with Scottie so that JC can pin his vote on him. Brett worried that JC could easily vote him out. He attempted to convince Tyler to use the veto on him. Tyler would not budge. He said he would use it if he wasn’t 100% confident about the votes. They discussed that Bayleigh’s power is essentially a free HoH. Tyler said he doesn’t know if it’s anonymous or how long Bayleigh has the power for. Brett said he will be nominating Bayleigh if he wins HoH. Tyler said they have to find a way to flush out her power. He mentioned that they could possibly backdoor her.
