Big Brother 20 Day 43
August 1, 2018
11:00-12:00 PM: Rockstar told Angela she wants Faysal to win HoH so that he can put the girls on the block, allowing her to not have to break her word. Bayleigh said that would be good but they still need somebody there to get Scottie out. Rockstar said they will have to do it if the girls are out. Bayleigh said they have to realize that Tyler is there too. Rockstar said she wants to backdoor him. Bayleigh said she loves Tyler but he is not playing no games. Bayleigh mentioned that Sam will win the game if she makes it to the Final 2. As for JC, Bayleigh said he is fine for now. Rockstar said she is thinking about nominating Angela and Sam, backdooring Tyler. Rockstar said somebody has to nominate JC, because nobody is going to put him up. Bayleigh said she wanted to but Faysal wouldn’t let her. Rockstar told Bayleigh she has her own reasons for not wanting to put him up. Bayleigh said she thinks that JC would throw Rockstar up in a heartbeat, so it’s frustrating that she would want to protect him. Rockstar said she doesn’t want to protect him but she doesn’t want to be the one to put him up.
12:00-1:00 PM: Angela headed up to the HoH room. She said she doesn’t know who Tyler is working with. Angela mentioned Rachel said that Tyler was saying he would only use the veto if she would be the replacement nominee, so whoever else is throwing her name out is who Tyler is working with. Bayleigh admitted to having told Rachel that, though she clarified that it wasn’t said exactly like that. Bayleigh said Tyler asked “if I use it, Angela would be the replacement?”. Bayleigh told Angela that Tyler didn’t come in there saying that he wants Angela nominated, so Rachel may have been being a bit dramatic. Angela said she just wanted to know if Tyler was targeting her in particular. Bayleigh assured her that she did not get that vibe. In the bathroom, Rachel told Sam she believes that keeping her would be better for Sam’s game. Sam asked Rachel to explain to her why since she is not a game person. Rachel said people you trust will get you further, and she kept her in week one because she trusts Sam. Rachel added that she is working for Sam, not against her, and she is going to be gunning to help her get to the end of this game. Rachel said there is the two of them, Angela, and Kaycee, and she would like for them to get as far as possible as a unit. Bayleigh came by to ask to speak to Rachel. She confronted Rachel about what she said to Angela about Tyler wanting her to be the replacement nominee. Bayleigh said that was supposed to be kept between them, or else she would have told Angela that herself. Rachel apologized. She said she wanted to be sure that Angela was calm. Bayleigh pointed out that Tyler will be mad at her if he knows that she told Rachel about that. Rachel then wrapped up her conversation with Sam before heading up to the HoH room. She asked Haleigh and Rockstar if she still has their votes. They confirmed that she does. Rachel was told not to worry since the plan seems to be the same. Rockstar told Haleigh that JC is sitting super comfortable but she doesn’t want to be the one to put him up since she is an ally to the gays. Haleigh said that’s a stupid reason not to make the move, since you can still be an ally to the gays and realize that JC is going to beat them. Rockstar said that’s true. Haleigh pointed out that nobody else is going to want to make that move. Rockstar said she could nominate Sam for putting her up and nominate JC since he was supposed to be the one nominated when she went up. Rockstar said both of them would probably beat any of them in the Final 2. Haleigh agreed.
1:00-2:00 PM: Haleigh told Rockstar that Kaycee is the biggest floater in the house, not talking game with anyone. Rockstar asked if Haleigh could put her up. Haleigh said she would hate to do it since she does like her so much, but she doesn’t know who else is going to to do it. Rockstar said that’s how she feels about JC and Sam. They discussed that it would be good if Faysal wins and nominates Angela and Kaycee. Rockstar hopes that she can win HoH, nominating JC and Sam, and then she can backdoor Tyler. Haleigh said they have to be prepared for someone to return on Thursday. Rockstar figures that nobody would fall for Kaitlyn’s game if she returns. Haleigh thinks Tyler would fall right back into it. She said he is very easy to manipulate when someone has an emotional hold over him like Kaitlyn does. Rockstar asked how Faysal and Haleigh’s talk went. Haleigh said it was good and she told him that the best case for them is if they can remain strictly friends while in the house. Haleigh said Faysal tried to blame the way he was acting on the fact that she was in the hammock with Brett, even though that happened after the fact. Haleigh then spoke to Bayleigh who said she had a good talk with Brett but it’s just too late. Haleigh agreed. They also agreed that things might have been different if Brett had talked to Bayleigh sooner. Meanwhile, Rachel told Scottie she feels like it would benefit his game if Brett leaves. Rachel said Scottie already put him up and wanted him to leave previously. Scottie assured Rachel that she is still good with him. Rachel said the same back to Scottie. Rachel said she will respect whatever decision he makes but she would be appreciative if it’s in her favour. Scottie said he thinks that Rachel should be fine. Elsewhere, Kaycee told Angela it pisses her off that Rachel doesn’t have any faith in the group. Kaycee said Rachel is talking about how they need to branch out. Kaycee thinks Rachel wouldn’t have been in this position if she could have kept her mouth shut. Angela said Rachel hasn’t even asked her if she has her vote, because she knows that she will be like “really Rachel?”. The girls agreed that Rachel would flip and throw them under the bus if they don’t win HoH next week. They said she needs to go. Angela brought up that Bayleigh can use her power to put Brett up again next week with her power, getting less blood on her hands than she otherwise would. Kaycee said that’s something they can mention to Bayleigh. Angela let Kaycee know Brett is going to blame the girls alliance on Rachel and Rockstar in his speech. Angela said she doesn’t want Brett to piss Rachel off to the point where she would expose the Level 6 alliance. Kaycee said Brett would have to be the second one to talk. Angela said Rachel will still think she has the votes even if Brett throws her under the bus, so she should know it wouldn’t help her to out anything. Angela said Brett also plans to reveal that Bayleigh has a power. Kaycee asked how this will help them. Angela explained that Bayleigh wont care which way people vote once she hears all of this. Angela said another good thing about Brett outing the power is that it puts blood on Bayleigh’s hand no matter what, since her group will be pissed if she doesn’t use it to save them.
2:00-3:00 PM: Rachel told Angela that Bayleigh came to her after Angela spoke to her. Rachel said Bayleigh was mad at her for telling Angela what Tyler had said. Angela asked if Rachel admitted to it. Rachel said she didn’t want to lie. Rachel said Bayleigh thanked her last night for not telling anyone about her power. Rachel told Angela they have to win HoH next week so that Bayleigh doesn’t save her power for the following week. Rachel said she doesn’t know why Brett wont talk to her. Angela said it drives Brett nuts that people are sending him home over her. Angela said Brett was telling her he is going to piss Rockstar off in his speech. Rachel said she was starting to get paranoid that Brett would say something about her. Rachel asked Angela if she is going to keep her. Angela responded with “really Rachel?”. Rachel said she has to ask. Angela told her that she has her vote.
3:00-4:00 PM: JC told Tyler he doesn’t know if he wants to win HoH. Tyler told JC that Bayleigh would have told Rockstar that JC threw her name out. JC said that might be why Rockstar has been distant. Tyler pointed out that Bayleigh, Rockstar and Haleigh are definitely working together. Tyler said he wants to make sure that JC isn’t throwing HoH competitions when he is throwing names out. JC assured Tyler that he will not throw it. He said Rockstar is going to be his target. He mentioned Scottie as another option since Scottie wants Tyler out. The guys discussed that Bayleigh is on a power trip. Tyler figures it’s because she knows that she essentially HoH for two weeks due to her power. JC said Bayleigh is someone that he wants out as well. Once JC left the room, Angela spoke to Tyler. She said she spoke to Bayleigh about Tyler saying he wanted her to be the replacement nominee. Angela said the goal was to plant a seed of doubt in Bayleigh’s mind about Rachel, which worked since Bayleigh went to speak to Rachel about it right after. Tyler said Brett’s speech might blow everything up and then people wont know what’s going on. Angela told Tyler that Rachel’s power can be used next week or the week after. Angela said Bayleigh’s power is gone after the nomination ceremony, and she cannot use it at the veto ceremony. Tyler said Rachel is such an idiot for telling Angela that, since it guaranteed that he wouldn’t use the veto. Angela and Tyler discussed that Bayleigh will be a huge target since people will know about her power and therefore it’s like she has back to back HoHs.
4:00-5:00 PM: Feeds returned after being down for about half an hour. The houseguests were shown pictures to study for the upcoming HoH competition. Tyler asked Rachel if Bayleigh told her that she has the power. Rachel said she doesn’t want to talk about it right now because it’s not pertinent. She said she is too nervous to say anything while on the block, but she will let him know when he needs to know. Rachel filled Tyler in on what happened earlier when Angela went to Bayleigh and then Bayleigh questioned her about telling Angela information. Tyler told Rachel he thinks that Rockstar is going to try to throw a target on Rockstar on his way out. Tyler advised Rachel to try to stay composed, not calling anyone out. Tyler said Brett is so good that he would be able to talk himself out of any situation, so it’s good that they are getting him out now. Up in the HoH room, Faysal told JC that Scottie and Tyler are voting Brett out. JC asked if it’s unanimous then. Faysal asked which way Angela and Kaycee are voting. JC said he has not talked to anyone, but Scottie told him that it will be unanimous.
6:00-7:00 PM: Sam was upset with JC after seeing a gif of him falling from the tree during the HoH competition that she won. It was one of the clips that the houseguests had to study. She thinks that he threw the competition. JC said she is being paranoid and she is letting people get in her head. Sam said it’s strictly between the two of them. JC explained that he was fixing his goggled and then he fell when he went to grab the tree again. Sam asked if he promises. JC said yes. Sam thought that JC wanted Kaitlyn to go but didn’t want to put her up. JC said he didn’t even know who Sam was going to nominate. Sam questioned why everyone told her it was a big deal that she won when it really wasn’t. She said she doesn’t want to win something when everyone else lets her. Tyler came by and told Sam that she is making something out of nothing. Sam said she doesn’t care. She told them that it hurt her feelings. JC told Sam there are so many other things to worry about right now, such as remembering the gifs. Sam said she knows them all. JC said she had better win tomorrow then. Sam said she will. JC asked what the issue is. Sam said JC is one of the only people that she trusts in there. She asked what if everybody jumped rather than actually falling out of the competition. JC once again said that Sam is being paranoid. Sam said she wants to know if JC let her win. JC assured Sam that he did not. Elsewhere, Angela told Brett he has to blame Rachel for exposing Bayleigh’s app tomorrow. She said that will seal everything. Kaycee added that he has to reveal the details. Brett said he plans to do that. He wants to say Bayleigh can replace the nominees, so it will be used to nominate him if they keep him around.
7:00-8:00 PM: Sam told Tyler she hasn’t given anyone a definitive answer when it comes to what is going to happen tomorrow. Tyler said some crazy things are going to happen tomorrow. Sam said she trusts Tyler. Sam and Tyler discussed what happened between JC and Sam earlier in the evening. Tyler suggested that JC was probably a little bit embarrassed because he fell. Sam said she overreacted because she loves JC. Tyler said JC loves her too, which is why he tried to fix things with her. Sam said she will apologize to him. Sam asked Tyler if everything is still the same. Tyler let her know that it is.
9:00-10:00 PM: Brett made his pitch to Faysal. Faysal asked what Scottie is saying. Brett said he thinks Scottie realizes that Rachel is against him more than anyone. Brett said Rachel stirs things up and will prevent people’s mental health from being on point since she is running around paranoid all the time. Faysal said he is on board with keeping Brett as long as Scottie and Tyler are on board. Faysal said he knows where Brett stands with the guys. He believes that Brett wouldn’t nominate him if he wins HoH, since it wouldn’t make sense to do so. Brett said he feels as though he deserves to be in jury way more than Rachel does. He also said he would base his vote on game things, unlike Rachel. Afterwards Faysal filled Scottie in on Brett’s pitch. Faysal said Brett will slither his way to the end if they keep him, while Rachel is someone who they could always get out. Faysal asked if Scottie thinks that it will be unanimous. Scottie said he thinks that it will be 8-1. Faysal wants to make sure that Tyler is on the same page. Scottie said he is. Scottie let Faysal know that he will be voting Brett out no matter what anyone says. Scottie said he is telling Brett things to make him feel confident enough that there is a chance so he might try to flip a vote or two by making a big speech.
10:00-11:00 PM: In the HoH room, Bayleigh and Sam chatted for a while. Bayleigh let Sam know that she is hearing Brett has a plan to try to make Rachel snap tomorrow. Bayleigh said she hopes that he would not do that considering that Rachel is a friend of his. Sam asked if Bayleigh has asked Brett not to do that. Bayleigh said she hasn’t heard it directly from him, so she doesn’t know if it’s true or not. Even if he does it, Bayleigh said it wont fool anyone. Sam didn’t like the idea of Brett doing that to Rachel. In the have-not room, Scottie told Tyler that they have to win HoH. Tyler said they cannot let the girls win, referring to Angela, Kaycee and Rachel. Scottie said Brett is going around saying that he told him he would have his vote, even though he did not tell Brett that. Scottie explained that he doesn’t mind that since Brett might feel confident enough to try to blow up Rachel’s game during his speech in attempt to lock in some more votes. Scottie is hoping that Brett will do that. He pointed out that Brett’s speeches are always big. Scottie said his two week plan is to take out Brett this week and Rachel next week. Tyler said he is down for that.
11:00-12:00 AM: Bayleigh, Faysal and Haleigh spoke up in the HoH room. Faysal asked if the relationship between Sam and Tyler is better than the one between Sam and Scottie. Both Bayleigh and Haleigh said it definitely is. Faysal asked when they are going to address that. The girls said whenever they can. Haleigh asked where Faysal’s head is at when it comes to nominations if he wins HoH. Faysal said he would probably nominate two of Angela, Kaycee and Rachel. Haleigh said Angela and Rachel need to go quickly since they are working with Kaycee, infiltrating Scottie and Tyler, and working on them as well. Faysal asked which of the three girls they would like to see go first. Haleigh said she would like to see Kaycee go out last. Bayleigh agreed. Bayleigh thinks Scottie is getting close with them so that they will take Tyler out for him. Faysal mentioned that they would love to get the three girls out first, but should they still wait to backdoor Tyler if they have a shot while the third girl is on the block. Bayleigh and Haleigh said they have to take the shot whenever they have the chance. Faysal said not next week though. Haleigh said Tyler has to go if there is an opportunity, even if it is next week. Bayleigh brought up that Scottie is working with Sam and Tyler and also with them, so he only has to worry about the three girls. She thinks that Scottie will be coming after them as soon as the girls are out. Haleigh asked when they would get rid of Scottie since they need five people. Bayleigh said either before the double eviction or right after it happens. Faysal said he would like to get at least two of the girls out before they touch Scottie. Bayleigh and Haleigh said they would vote Scottie out over Angela, Kaycee and Rachel right now. Faysal said he wouldn’t. Haleigh said they would need to pull in someone they feel solid about before they take the shot at Scottie. JC was brought up as someone who they could potentially bring in.
