Big Brother 20 Day 55 - Kaycee is the replacement nominee
August 13, 2018
10:00-11:00 AM: Feeds went down at 10:52 for the veto ceremony
11:00-12:00 PM: Feeds returned at 11:38 following the veto ceremony. Tyler used the Power of Veto on Angela. Haleigh nominated Kaycee as the replacement nominee. Tyler told Rockstar he is sorry that she had to catch the hear from that. He said he cannot put Haleigh on the block, and he wishes that it wasn’t her. Tyler told Rockstar she has Haleigh to thank for it. Rockstar said she doesn’t. When Tyler said she nominated him last week, Rockstar said it still wasn’t her. Tyler explained that he couldn’t give Haleigh what she wanted after she did all of that to him last week. He pointed out that Haleigh cancelled his vote because he was going to vote for Rockstar to stay. Rockstar asked to speak to Kaycee. She said she is sorry that Kaycee is on the block, because she wasn’t supposed to go home. Rockstar added that maybe she wont. Kaycee said she has a very good chance of leaving. Rockstar told Kaycee that she finds Angela to be a really entitled person who gets whatever she wants. After the conversation ended, Kaycee said to the cameras that she will not be going anywhere. Up in the HoH room, Haleigh told Scottie that things went exactly how she expected them to. Scottie said the same. Haleigh said they will now have to deal with Rockstar’s sadness all week. Out in the yard, Sam asked Tyler what he wants her to do. Tyler said Sam can do whatever she wants. Sam asked if Tyler will hate her. He said that’s impossible. Sam said she will have to keep a pinky promise and keep Kaycee, but her whole life is going to suck in the house. Tyler said that’s not true. He told Sam that she knows who has her back.
12:00-1:00 PM: Tyler asked Sam if she pinky promised Kaycee. Sam said she doesn’t know but she knows that the three of them have a thing. Tyler said he would be devastated if Kaycee were to go, because they have a thing. Tyler said he knows that Sam is close to Rockstar. Sam said she is personally. Tyler explained to Sam that he cannot be hanging out with her all of the time when people are saying that they have a Final 2 deal. Sam asked if he has replaced her with Angela. Tyler said absolutely not, but it’s good for the two of them that people will assume that he is with Angela. Sam said she will be keeping Kaycee but she is not going to tell anyone but Tyler. Tyler said she should let Kaycee know. Sam wondered if she would tell anyone. Sam said she might tell Kaycee since she will be highly stressed, but she loves Rockstar so much. Sam said her loyalty lies with her two babies, Kaycee and Tyler. Sam asked if she can 100% believe in them. Tyler said she can, and they have fought for her this whole time. Sam said she will be keeping Kaycee but she is not going to tell anyone, and she doesn’t want Tyler to either. Sam said no matter what Tyler sees, she has always been 100% honest especially with him. Tyler apologized for making Sam feel a certain way. He said it was never his intention. Sam said she knows. Up in the HoH room, Haleigh and Rockstar went over the votes. Haleigh said they obviously have Faysal. She said she thought they would obviously have Sam too, but Sam was upset to see Kaycee and Rockstar on the block together. Rockstar assured Haleigh that Sam is good. Haleigh said Brett and Scottie have both told her that they will evict Kaycee, and then JC is not stupid, so that’s five votes. Meanwhile, Kaycee told Angela she is predicting that the vote will be 5-1 to evict Rockstar. She thinks that Faysal and Scottie are the only votes that she wont get, but she can cancel one of them. Out in the yard, Brett let Angela and Tyler know that Haleigh said she feels bad since Kaycee was not her target. When he asked who it was, Brett said Haleigh told him that it was Angela but it really was Tyler. Tyler said Level 6 is about to make up half of the house. Brett thinks that JC is solid with them now, seeing as he was straight up told by the other side that he is at the bottom of the totem pole. Angela thinks that JC is more likely to come to them if he thinks that Brett is on the other side. Brett said JC is pitching him to come to their side already. Brett said he is nervous about what Sam will do. Tyler said he is too. Brett told Angela and Tyler that Rockstar is on the verge of freaking out. He suggested that they push it since it will seal her fate even more. He said the first thing that Haleigh told him was that Rockstar will go if she freaks out. As for Sam, Brett said Haleigh told him that she came to her and said that she is done with everyone who she was hanging out with initially. Brett thinks it was at least in part to keep herself safe, and everyone is underestimating her in the game.
1:00-2:00 PM: Rockstar asked Scottie to not cancel one of her votes if he is by some chance the hacker. Scottie said that he isn’t the hacker. Rockstar said she had to cover her bases. Rockstar brought up that she has talked game with Scottie the whole game, but she doesn’t know if Kaycee has. Rockstar mentioned that her pitch will include that she will nominate Angela and Tyler if she stays, then Tyler cannot use the veto on Angela. Rockstar said Angela was able to play a game that neither she nor Kaycee could, as she could flirt with the competition beast.
2:00-3:00 PM: JC checked in with Kaycee to see how Rockstar is acting towards her. Kaycee said Rockstar told her that she is so sorry that happened. JC said she was not very sorry yesterday when she was saying that Kaycee is the hacker. Kaycee said Rockstar feels that she has the votes to stay. JC said it blows his mind. Next up, Brett checked in with Kaycee. He asked how she is doing. Kaycee said she is doing good even though it’s not a good feeling to be on the block. Brett said that Kaycee will be alright. Kaycee let Brett know that she plans to keep her distance from him, but know that they are good. Rockstar asked Brett if they can talk. She said Brett was never her target this week, and he still wont be her target, cause she would put Tyler next to Angela. She explained that Tyler would then not be able to use the veto on Angela. Rockstar said she would probably put Scottie up if the veto is used, which she told Scottie she was going to say earlier in the day. Rockstar said a benefit to keeping her over Kaycee is that Kaycee drew a line in the sand and has refused to work outside of that line. Rockstar said Kaycee works with Angela, where as she is adaptable and doesn’t draw lines. Rockstar told Brett that Tyler is following Angela around like a little puppy, and he turned down an offer of safety from four different people. Rockstar said OTEV lit a fire under her, and he will be safe if she wins HoH. Rockstar said her goal is to be the last Angela standing. Brett said that being adaptable is a huge thing in this game. He said it’s funny that it’s out in the open that they have a secret alliance, but everyone would be flabbergasted if they really did have a secret thing going on. Rockstar said she is not opposed to it. After the talk ended, Brett looked to the camera and laughed. Out in the yard, Tyler let Kaycee know that Sam has already promised to vote to keep Kaycee. Tyler said Sam is on the fence about whether or not she should tell Kaycee, so don’t say anything. Tyler said Sam doesn’t want anyone to know where she is voting, so continue to try to get her vote. Kaycee said she is going to tell Sam that whatever she does is okay.
3:00-4:00 PM: Rockstar told Faysal that JC would have another week of safety if she stays. Faysal said he doesn’t know how comfortable Rockstar would be with pitching to JC that he will be the one going on the block as a pawn if Rockstar leaves. Rockstar told Faysal that he can pitch that to JC. Faysal asked if she would be comfortable with that. Rockstar said sure. Faysal said Rockstar can also remind JC that Haleigh breaks a tie, so you don’t want to end up on the wrong side when Haleigh would keep Rockstar. Rockstar told Faysal that she feels good about Brett, but don’t say that to anybody. Rockstar said they have to be careful about who they talk to due to the hacker. Rockstar thinks that Faysal’s vote will be cancelled. She mentioned Sam as another possibility. Faysal and Rockstar discussed that Scottie and Tyler stay close while working on opposite sides. Faysal commented that their side still feels so comfortable telling Scottie things. Later, Rockstar approached Brett and Haleigh to say she is considering exposing Angela and Tyler’s showmance during her eviction speech. Haleigh said that would be a terrible idea, and it’s not funny. Brett said it’s a little funny. Haleigh told Rockstar to chill out and let everyone run around like they currently are. Rockstar asked if she is saying that it’s not a good idea to say that she has heard a lot of “Hilton Head in the bed”. Haleigh said not at all. She mentioned that it was also Scottie’s joke that she took.
4:00-5:00 PM: JC let Tyler know that he told Faysal he will not be talking any game. JC said he is not interested in talking to any of them. Tyler mentioned that Rockstar followed him around for two days while he had the veto, but now she will not say a word to him. Tyler said Rockstar is a weak player. JC said that has been the way she plays since Day 1, and she is only there because they are keeping her. Tyler said they have kept her because they can beat her in anything. JC said Faysal told him that Rockstar should be kept to be used as a universal pawn. Tyler let JC know that Haleigh and Scottie were telling him that JC has been sketchy every week, flipping his votes on Thursdays. Tyler said they are on to JC. JC said he doesn’t want to work with them anyway. He said to cancel Faysal’s vote this week. Tyler said it could end up being unanimous if Scottie gets scared that the votes are going that way. Tyler asked if JC believes him when he says that he is not the hacker. JC said he thinks that Tyler is the hacker and he has the second power app. Tyler told JC that he is stupid. JC said it’s okay. He assured Tyler that he would have told him if he had received the power app. Afterwards, Sam asked JC what he thinks is going to happen this week. JC said he doesn’t want to say much since there is a hacker out there. He said he enjoys Rockstar’s presence most of the time, but he and Kaycee are the only two LGBT people on the cast, and he cannot do anything to her without facing backlash once he leaves. JC said he has to consider that. JC asked Sam what she is thinking. Sam said she expects her vote to be cancelled. If it isn’t, Sam said she will put two dots in a cup and choose one to decide.
5:00-6:00 PM: Rockstar told Faysal she feels solid about three votes, those being Brett’s, Faysal’s and Sam’s. Rockstar said she doesn’t feel solid about JC or Scottie, because she never feels solid about those two. Rockstar said she hasn’t talked to JC yet. Faysal said JC was telling him that he doesn’t want to talk game right now due to the fact that there is a hacker who could cancel his vote. Rockstar took that as JC saying that he will be voting to keep Kaycee. Faysal said JC doesn’t ever know what he is going to do until the last minute, since his thing is that he always wants to be on the right side of the vote. Rockstar headed up to the HoH room. She told Haleigh that she is counting on Brett, Faysal and Sam to vote for her. Haleigh said she thinks that JC will vote that way if he catches wind that it’s a majority vote. Haleigh said she thinks that Rockstar has JC since he likes her and he knows that she is the only thing in the way of him being a pawn. Rockstar mentioned that JC and Kaycee are the only two non-straight people in the house. Haleigh said she doesn’t think that JC cares about that. Rockstar said she hates that Angela was able to get comfortable again. Both girls agreed that they did not want Kaycee to have to be the one on the block. Haleigh said she hopes that Tyler completely screwed his game up by making that move. Rockstar agreed. She said Tyler follows pretty girls around like a puppy, and he is stupid. Rockstar said Angela is not even that pretty. Haleigh agreed. Rockstar told Haleigh that this move was to get back at Haleigh, but she had to take the brunt of it. Haleigh said she brought that up to Tyler. Haleigh and Rockstar said they feel like everything is going to be okay. Haleigh suggested that there is a mutual agreement right now that Kaycee is going home. Afterwards, Rockstar told Sam that she should tell people she is voting for her since the hacker can only cancel one vote anyway. Rockstar added that JC will vote for whoever he thinks everyone else is voting for, so they need him to think that it’s her. Sam said she thinks that she is still going to go with not telling anybody.
6:00-7:00 PM: Haleigh asked Scottie if he knows where his head is at now. Scottie said no. He then mentioned that Rockstar is currently better for his game since she would not touch either of them. As for Kaycee, Scottie feels safe with her but he thinks that she might come after Haleigh. Scottie asked how sure they are that Rockstar has Sam, cause he is not that sure. Haleigh said there is a high possibility that Sam is playing them. Scottie said he thinks that there is a very high likelihood that Sam votes to evict Rockstar. Haleigh said they will still have four votes even if Sam flips. Haleigh brought up that taking away a number from the other side would cause them to lose some power and make it less likely that JC will side with them. Haleigh thinks that Kaycee will float her way to the top five if she makes it past this week, since nobody else is going to put her up.
8:00-9:00 PM: Rockstar commented that JC has been hanging out with the other side a lot. Haleigh said he has been with Angela and Tyler. Haleigh said JC will come back to them if they are able to knock out a number from the other side. Faysal asked if Rockstar is 100% on Sam. Rockstar said that she is. Haleigh said that the show is going to suck if they get rid of all of them, so they are going to have to give them a power to bring them back. Haleigh thinks it’s good that Kaycee hasn’t been able to make any meaningful friendships or relationships. Rockstar said her only one was with Bayleigh, plus maybe something with Rachel.
10:00-11:00 PM: Faysal told Haleigh that he might have to take a shot at Scottie if he wins HoH in the next two weeks. Haleigh emphatically said no. She told him that there are many more people who need to go, such as Angela, Brett and Tyler. Faysal said Tyler is not coming for him. Haleigh was not happy about that comment. Faysal said he would backdoor Tyler if he has the opportunity to do so. Faysal compared him saying Tyler is not coming after him to Haleigh said that she is good with Brett, because he is not good with Brett. Haleigh disagreed and said that Faysal is indeed good with Brett. Faysal said Brett would nominate him next to JC. Haleigh disagreed. When Faysal brought up that Scottie and Tyler are close and would choose each other over the alliance, Haleigh said that’s not true. She told Faysal that Scottie has said to her that he would take the shot if he gets the opportunity to do so. In reference to Scottie, Faysal said if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck. That being said, Faysal reassured Haleigh that they will deal with Tyler since he knows that Haleigh is his #1 target.
1:00-2:00 AM: Rockstar told JC that she has four votes to stay. JC told her to stop freaking out then. Rockstar said she did. JC said he isn’t going to talk game this week because he does not want his vote cancelled. Rockstar said she is going to nominate Angela and Tyler if she stays and wins HoH. She said Scottie would be the replacement nominee. JC said not to put him up, since he is on their side and has her back. Rockstar said that’s true. Afterwards, Rockstar told Haleigh and Scottie that JC said not to put Scottie up. Haleigh said that’s good. Rockstar said she thinks that JC is voting for her. Scottie said he would never have guessed that. Haleigh said if the four of them, JC and Sam can get it together, they will be good. They talked about targeting Angela next week if they win HoH. Haleigh said it wont matter who is sitting next to her as long as they are six as a unit. Scottie asked if JC is officially their number six. Haleigh and Rockstar said yeah. Inside, JC told Angela and Tyler about his talk with Rockstar. He said she claimed that she has four votes. JC said that he would respect Rockstar more if she would have campaigned last week. JC told Angela and Tyler that Rockstar said she is going to nominate the two of them if she stays. JC explained that Rockstar wants Tyler to win the veto so that he cannot use it on Angela, and then Scottie will go up. JC said he is smarter than Rockstar, so he told her to please not do that because he loves Scottie. JC figures that Rockstar was expecting him to go along with that. JC said he is a million steps ahead and it’s just fun. JC said that the fact Rockstar is assuming that Brett will vote for her shows how clueless she is.
