Big Brother 21 Day 15 - Ovi is evicted; David returns; Jack wins HoH
July 3, 2019
5:00-6:00 PM: During tonight’s live eviction episode, Ovi was evicted by a unanimous vote of 12-0. Before he could walk out the door, Julie revealed that Camp Comeback is now open. She explained to the houseguests that Ovi would not be leaving the house, as the evicted houseguests will remain in the house. Julie explained that Camp Comeback members are out of the game, they will not compete in any challenges, they will not participate in any ceremonies, and they will not vote. Julie said that one of the first four evicted houseguests will earn their way back in to the game. The doorbell rang and David came through the doors. The HoH competition took place. Jack won HoH.
6:00-7:00 PM: When feeds returned, Ovi was asking Jack and Tommy if the vote was up in the air until the end. Jack and Tommy said that it was. Ovi told the guys that there is no reason to stress about it. Elsewhere, Sam said that he will not be talking any game with David. Nick said he is not even going to talk any game with Ovi. Jackson was the next to talk to Ovi. He told Ovi that rumours were spreading that Jack was trying to flip the vote, and they could not put themselves out there when they would not have had the numbers. They discussed that Ovi will still have the power if he gets back in to the game. Jackson said that he wouldn’t tell people about it. Jack then talked to David. He asked him what happened during the competition amongst those who were banished. David said it was dark and he went in there too focused. Jackson said he doesn’t blame David for any feelings that he has towards him. David pointed out that he said he didn’t want to compete, but it was his competition to win. Jackson said he tried to set David up to return. David assured Jackson that they are good. Jack and Jackson then spoke. Jack said that they have to stick to Gr8ful now more than ever. They talked about their conversations with Ovi. Jackson mentioned that Ovi still wants to work with them. Jack said that he always will. Elsewhere, Bella told Nicole she hopes that Ovi is smart enough to recognize that it was a 12-0 vote and he needs to trust them more than he trusts Jack. Numerous people, including Christie and Holly, talked about agreeing not to talk any game with the evicted houseguests. Jack called a house meeting to tell people that not talking game with David and Ovi will be beneficial for everyone including those two. Jack added that it’s more of a suggestion than a demand, but it will avoid people thinking that they are building up alliances.
7:00-8:00 PM: Cliff told Ovi he thinks that the next two targets will be Kemi and Kat. This week, he expects to see Kemi on the block. Ovi threw Jess’ name into the mix as well. Cliff let Ovi know that he will give him the complete scoop even after Jack’s talk about not talking game with them. Ovi brought up thinking that Bella, Jess and Kemi were the ones that wanted him out. He said he doesn’t even know if Nicole can be trusted anymore, since he is hearing that someone leaked a plan. Cliff said he doesn’t think that there was ever a plan, so it was likely to try to keep Ovi comfortable. Ovi said people are talking about how hard it is but they could have kept him had they wanted to. Cliff said he doesn’t think that people were as eager to keep Ovi as he thinks they were. Meanwhile, Jack told Jackson that he is going to nominate Jess and Kemi. He admitted that there is a possible backdoor of Nick. Jackson wasn’t on board with that plan since Nick would stay in the house. Jack ultimately agreed. Kemi expects to go on the block. She told Jess that the easiest move for Jack to make would be to put her up next to Kat. She said that the only saving grace may be that Jack is threatened by Nick. Nicole spoke to Ovi to reiterate that she tried hard to keep him. Ovi let Nicole know that he is not upset with her at all. Nicole told Ovi that a couple of people blew smoke when there was no need for it. Ovi asked if Jack was one of them. He followed that up by asking if Nicole thinks that Jack tried to keep him at all today. Nicole said no. Ovi asked about Tommy as well. Nicole said that Jack and Tommy are the two people that she was referring to. Nicole let Ovi know that Jack did talk to her today but only to say that it’s not happening but he wants Ovi to think that it is.
8:00-9:00 PM: Ovi spoke to Cliff and Nicole. He said he thinks that he got played a little bit. Ovi doesn’t think that people tried too hard to keep him. He said that he will do whatever he can for the two of them since they are the ones that fought for him. Ovi mentioned that he felt really good with Tommy but everyone might feel that way about Tommy. Ovi spoke to the camera to say that he definitely got played by Jack. He wondered about Tommy as well. Ovi admitted that he has been playing with blinders on. He acknowledged that he has to be smarter moving forward. Ovi said that he doesn’t owe his allegiance to anyone except for Cliff and Nicole. He added that he feels betrayed by Jack and Tommy. Kemi asked Nicole to talk. She said she is so annoyed that she will be spending her birthday on the block. When Nicole told her that she doesn’t know that, Kemi said that she will either be on the block or thinking about being backdoored, so she would rather be on the block.
9:00-10:00 PM: Nick apologized to Jack for not looking happy when he won. Nick explained that he was embarrassed after being eliminated on the first question. Jack assured Nick that they are boys and that the eight is solid. Jack made it clear that Kemi is his target and that she will be going on the block. Nick revealed that Kemi had planned to nominate Jack and Jackson with Analyse as her replacement nominee if one is needed. Jack said he is focused on getting Kemi and Jess out over the next two weeks since those two constantly have his name in their mouths. Holly told Kat that she was playing a nice low key game but now the girls are starting to think that she is not on their side. Holly brought up Kemi saying that she wanted to backdoor her or Analyse. Kat attributed it to them being pretty. Holly thinks that it’s because they are close with the guys. They talked about Kemi being unable to talk to females about anything other than how pretty they are. Holly said she is so back and forth on whether or not she trusts Nick and Bella. Kat said she doesn’t trust Bella and would put her up next to Kemi if she were to win HoH.
10:00-11:00 PM: All of the houseguests headed upstairs for Jack’s HoH room reveal.
11:00-12:00 AM: When David and Ovi left the HoH room, the rest of the houseguests had a discussion about them. Jackson brought up that David still has that look in his eyes. Christie questioned where David is when the rest of them are in the HoH room together. Jess pointed out that David left the room without saying goodbye. Sam mentioned that he might feel that the rest of them are like a family. Jackson said their natural instinct is to be welcoming but they have to remember that this is a game. Cliff added that they just voted 12-0 to send home a person that they all love. Christie said she gives David credit for being as friendly as he is since he probably feels like an outsider. She also said that she would obviously want Ovi to return at this point. Cliff explained that David’s only way to stick around is by creating divisions between them. Christie asked the houseguests to raise their hands if they are in agreement that they will not talk game with David and Ovi. Everyone raised their hand. Nick said he doesn’t see any benefit to talking game like that. Cliff said it doesn’t mean that they cannot be friendly with them.
