Big Brother 21 Day 17 - Jack nominates Jess and Kemi for eviction
July 5, 2019
11:00-12:00 PM: Feeds went down at 11:11 for the Whacktivity Competition.
2:00-3:00 PM: Feeds returned at 2:51 following the Whacktivity Competition. The houseguests were gathered in the kitchen, mainly discussing the competition.
3:00-4:00 PM: Nicole told Bella her theory that the powers have to do with the words. For example, she suggested that the nightmare competition may give the winner the ability to say “this is your worst nightmare. I’m changing your noms”. Bella told Nicole she doesn’t have to tell her if she has it. Nicole said she doesn’t. Bella let Nicole know that people think it was either her or Cliff, since Kat and Ovi would have used it already had they won it. As for this week, Nicole guessed that either Jack or Tommy won the competition. Bella commented that they should all just self evict if Jack won it. Later, Bella, Kemi and Nicole talked about the rumour that Jess went to Kat last week to tell her that the votes were flipping. They wondered who would have told Jess that. Bella and Nicole figured that it might have been Ovi in attempt to lock in her vote. In the other room, Jack asked Holly and Jackson if Sam won the competition. Jackson said that it had to be Sam or Tommy if Jack doesn’t have it. In the boat room, Bella asked Tommy what the power is. He said he has no idea since he didn’t win it. Tommy said he thinks that either Jackson or Sam won it. Jack and Jackson later spoke alone. Jackson fished for info, telling Jack repeatedly that he can trust him and that he is a vault. Jackson claimed that he would have told Jack if he had won. Jack stuck with his story that he thinks Sam was the winner.
4:00-5:00 PM: Jack informed Nicole that she is safe. He let her know that he is going to nominate Jess and Kemi. Jack then spoke to Kemi. He asked her if she thinks that she is going up. Kemi said admitted that she feels like she will be going up. When Jack asked why, Kemi explained that she heard that Jack had wanted her on the block last week. Jack said that he heard something similar about Kemi, as he was told that she was not happy with him or with Jackson. Kemi was puzzled by the Jackson part. Jack gave Kemi the opportunity to talk to him about a bigger threat. Kemi didn’t want to throw anyone else under the bus. She simply told Jack that she wouldn’t put him up in the next two weeks if he chose to keep her safe. Jack explained that his move has nothing to do with her character. He said that everyone in the house speaks really highly of her and he does not think that she is a bad person. Afterwards, Kemi told Cliff that she is definitely in the running to go on the block. Cliff told Kemi that if she is nominated, and he isn’t, and she chooses him to play in the veto competition he will use the veto on her. Kemi said that she would do the same for Cliff. Kemi then filled Nicole in on her conversation with Jack. Kemi found it interesting that Jack said Jackson’s name in addition to his when he was talking about who she would be after. Kemi realized that she cannot trust Nick, since she figured out that he was the one who told Jack about her plan for nominations. Back upstairs, Jack told Jess that he has heard she is the head of a girls alliance. Jess told him to get out of here. Jack explained that he has to act on that in order to establish his position. He assured Jess that she is not the target. He even told her that he would use the veto to take her down if he were to win it. Jack revealed that Kemi is his target this week. Jess insisted that it was BS that she orchestrated a girls alliance. However she told Jack that she is not going to sit there and tell him to put anyone else up.
5:00-6:00 PM: Jess cried to Analyse and Holly. She explained that she is going on the block over a total lie, since someone told Jack that she is the mastermind behind a girls alliance. The girls questioned who would have told Jack that. In the HoH room, Christie, Jack and Jackson talked about the power. Christie said she believes that Sam won. Jack was in agreement with her. Cliff joined them. Jack filled the group in on his talks with Jess and Kemi. He admitted that he lied when told Jess that he would use the veto on her. Back downstairs, Jess let Nicole know that she and Kemi seem to be the ones going on the block. Meanwhile, Jack filled Bella in on his conversations with the upcoming nominees. He brought up hearing that Jess wanted to start a girls alliance. Bella then told Jack that Jess wanted to start an alliance with her, Kemi and Nicole. Bella said that the name was “Black Widows”. Jack clarified that Jess was the head of the alliance. Bella confirmed that. While Jess continued to make her rounds, and the conversations carried on in the HoH room, David let Ovi know that he would like to cause disruption in the house. He debated doing that or playing it safe, but felt that he has a lot less to lose since he is already out of the house. David pointed out that the only danger would be if there ends up being a vote to return. Ovi suggested that America might like the chaos. In the bathroom, Kat reassured Jess that she is not the target. She vowed to campaign on Jess’ behalf.
6:00-7:00 PM: Jess, Kat and Kemi spoke in the bathroom. Kat told Jess that she may be wasting her tears since she might be the one going on the block instead. Kemi said that it wont be Jess and Kat together, since one of the nominations will definitely be her. Kemi let the girls know that she will take one of them to Fiji with her if she wins the trip. Feeds went down at 6:08 for the nomination ceremony.
7:00-8:00 PM: Feeds returned at 7:19 following the nomination ceremony. Jack nominated Jess and Kemi for eviction. Bella let Nicole know that she told Jack about the Black Widows alliance. Bella explained that Jack wants Kemi out this week and Jess out next week. Nicole assumed that she would be the next to go after that, since Bella is the one who brought the information to Jack. Bella suggested that exposing the alliance helped the two of them since it would have been bad had Jack found out about it from Jess or Kemi while they were campaigning. Nicole worried that one of them would now get backdoored because of it. Bella mentioned a theory that Kat had already told Jack about an all girls alliance, since Jack decided to nominate Jess instead of Kat. Bella doesn’t think that Jack would have questioned her about a girls alliance unless he already knew about one. Kemi joined them and was filled in on what had happened. Jess eventually came by. She asked who told Jack that she started a girls alliance. Both Bella and Kemi said that they don’t even have an all girls alliance. While the girls were chatting, there were talks in the storage room about Jess’ behaviour at the nomination ceremony. Jack said she is going to implode and get herself sent home. Christie said she should have just stayed quiet when she got nominated. Jackson added that she was digging her own grave. Christie talked about how she got closer with Kat after putting her up, so maybe Jack will be able to mend things with Kemi too. In the bedroom, Bella said she wonders who told Jack about the all girls alliance. When Nick said that Bella herself had done that, she clarified that she only told him about the four person alliance but Jack seemed to have known about a girls alliance prior to that. Bella let Nick know that she told Kemi and Nicole about her conversation with Jack. Nick asked why she did that. Bella figured that they would have found out later anyway. Nick talked about how he was a little bit worried that Jack was going to nominate him or Bella. He is also concerned that Kemi may think that he told Jack what she said, which he did.
8:00-9:00 PM: Nicole pointed out to Jess that the other side knows her whole plan and Kemi’s whole plan. She asked who else is in their bedroom. Jess initially said Nick. When Nicole asked who else, she said Bella. Nicole then revealed that Bella told Jack about the Black Widows. She said she wants Jess to be aware of it. Nicole thinks that Bella did it in order to protect herself in case it were to come out. Jess said it’s BS and that Bella was the one who created it in the first place. Jess thanked Nicole for letting her know. Nicole pointed out that Bella looks like the hero to the other side for exposing them. Nicole then spoke to Bella. She asked if Bella told Jack the alliance name, which she admitted to doing. Kemi came by and also found out that Bella had exposed the alliance name. Bella brought up thinking that she screwed herself by having that conversation with Jack. In the bedroom, Jess told Kat about the Black Widows. She said that Bella started it and then placed the blame on her. Kat said Bella is target for a lot of people right now, and a number of them believe that Kemi is taking the fall for Bella. Kat encouraged Jess to go clear her name with Jack, but Jess didn’t want to throw anyone under the bus.
9:00-10:00 PM: Bella told Jack, Analyse and Holly that Kemi is handling the block so well. She clarified that if they see her talking to Kemi, she is just letting her know that she is still her friend and to enjoy her last few days. Jack said Kat told him the same thing about Jess. As for Jess, Bella said that she is so paranoid and is asking who told Jack about the girls alliance. Jack said he heard Analyse and Holly joking about it in passing, then Ovi confirmed it during his campaigning, and then Bella confirmed it again.
10:00-11:00 PM: Jess told Kat that Bella has not even looked at her or said a single thing to her. Jess thinks that it’s suspicious for someone who started the alliance. Jess also brought up that Bella has been hanging out with Analyse even though she said that she would backdoor her. Kat said Bella knows what she is doing. In the HoH room, Jack told Sam that Jess is going to end up getting herself evicted. He added that Kemi keeps fighting her way back into the game. Sam said he would put her back up if he happens to win HoH. Kemi caught Bella up on what Jess has been saying about Bella being the one who started the alliance. Bella said she doesn’t think that she actually started it. Kemi figures that Jack is annoyed that she isn’t upset by her nomination. Bella said she told him that Kemi has been handling it like a champ. Bella revealed that Jack told Jess that she is a pawn. Kemi was confused as to why Jess is acting the way that she is if she knows that. Kemi asked Bella if she would use the veto on her if she picked her. Kemi said she wouldn’t want Bella to mess up her game. Bella admitted that she wouldn’t be able to since it would mess up her game for the following week. They discussed that Bella could throw it to Kemi without being obvious about it. Bella warned Kemi not to trust Cliff. She explained that she walked in on him talking to some of the guys. As the conversation was taking place, Jess was looking to clear her name with Jackson. Jess said it’s the biggest bunch of BS that she started a women's alliance. Jackson said he hasn’t heard about it since he is not a woman. Jackson said he is assuming that it is coming from a woman. Jackson pointed out that Jess is visibly upset. He said he doesn’t want to see Jess go simply because she ends up being more upset and emotional than Kemi is. Jackson let Jess know that he cannot cast a vote against her. Jackson advised Jess to sit back and let Kemi be the one to freak out, otherwise people will vote for Jess to go.
11:00-12:00 AM: Tommy told Jess that he loves both her and Kemi but she has got his vote. Tommy doubled down, saying that he would 1000% vote Kemi out over her. Tommy said he really thinks that she is fine. He advised Jess to let things play out since he is pretty sure that she is not the target. Meanwhile, Bella told Nick and Sam she doesn’t like defending herself if she doesn’t know that she is correct, but she is sure that she did not create the girls alliance. Nick said that Jess created it. Nick asked about the name. Bella said the name doesn’t matter since Jess was the one who chose it. Bella explained that based on how she was asked a questioned about in the DR, she knows that she did not create it. Nick asked if Sam told Jack about a girls alliance. Sam said no. Bella said she was really upset because she had thought that he did that. Sam said that sucks. He asked her to come to him to ask about it next time. Bella said she wasn’t sure so she didn’t want to bring it up yet.
12:00-1:00 AM: Kemi asked Nicole if she trusts Kat. Nicole said she doesn’t think Kat does things out of malice, but rather because she doesn’t realize. Kemi brought up hearing that Kat said she was going to get to her by flirting with David. Kemi explained that she isn’t even in to David. Kemi then told Nicole that putting a name to their alliance screwed them, as they could have played it off as though they just agreed to have each other’s backs if not for Bella exposing the name. Afterwards, Bella and Kemi spoke. Bella said she feels confident that she did not create the girls alliance. She wanted to tell Nicole. Kemi said it makes no difference to Nicole. Bella said she doesn’t think that she was trying to cover her tracks by doing what she did. Kemi suggested admitting that she messed up, and saying that it wont happen again. Bella said she will be honest, saying she thought that she was saving their games for next week. Bella told Kemi that if there is even an inkling that Jack wants Jess to go, everyone will jump on board because they are annoyed with Jess. Bella talked about Kemi and Nick being paranoid with each other. Kemi said she still thinks that Nick told Jack that she wanted him and Jackson up if she won. While Bella acknowledged that Nick does say things, she said she isn’t sure that Nick would have said that.
1:00-2:00 AM: Bella promised Nicole she thought that she was saving them from going on the block. Bella said she wants to apologize for messing up, and she realizes why it sounds so bad, but Nicole is not even in Jack’s head as a potential nominee this week. Bella said that Kat would be going on the block if a replacement nominee is needed. Bella told Nicole she is confident that she did not start the alliance. Bella apologized again. Nicole said she appreciates it. Bella stressed that she will doing everything that she can to have Nicole’s back. Nicole said the same to Bella, and pointed out that that’s why she got so upset about it. Bella admitted to getting nervous and having word vomit. Nicole said her fear is where she falls. Bella explained that Jack wants Kemi to go this week and Jess to go next week. Bella said she hopes that Nicole can take of leap of faith and trust her again. Nicole said she really does trust Bella but that’s why it bothered her. Bella said she realizes that she dug herself a hole. Nicole wished that Bella didn’t reveal the name, making it such a concrete thing. Bella said they laughed at it and weren’t even bothered by it at all.
