Big Brother 21 Day 24 - Christie wins a Diamond PoV; Cliff and Jess are nominated
July 12, 2019
9:00-10:00 AM: Nicole gave Cliff a heads up that Kemi said Christie told her that she overheard Cliff talking to the cameras. Nicole said that Christie heard Cliff saying that he is in an alliance with her and Ovi, and the name had something to do with zing. Cliff apologized to Nicole. He thanked her for the heads up. Cliff said he did not realize that he could be heard. They discussed that it may be best to distance themselves. Tommy let Nick know that he asked Jackson whether or not he was the one who voted to evict Jess. Tommy said that Jackson denied it. Nick asked if they are paranoid that he is going to put one of them up. Tommy said he doesn’t think so. Nick let Christie know that he is likely going to nominate Cliff and Jess. Both agreed that Nicole did not cast the rogue vote. Christie thinks that someone did it to place the blame on Nicole or to stir things up. Nick said he thought that it was Jackson. They both discussed that Jackson was trying really had to pin it on Nicole last night, plus he talked more game than usual. Nick asked if Jack was nervous after he won HoH. Christie said no. Nick admitted that he was nervous when Jack won last week. Nick said that he was talking to Bella and Sam last night about when they should take a shot, and they decided that the week after next would be the time to do so. Christie asked who should be the first to go. Nick said Jack.
10:00-11:00 AM: Cliff headed to the HoH room to talk to Nick. Nick explained that he thought Nicole voted to evict Jess, so he is leaning towards nominating her. He added that Jess is in the mix as well due to throwing his name out there. Cliff said he has been trying to work with Nicole but has had to distance himself from her due to the Kemi thing, but he doesn’t think that she was the vote. Cliff said that he is trying to find somewhere to land since working with Nicole and Ovi is about the worst possible group. Cliff said that he doesn’t want to leave before Jess or Kat. Nick mentioned that Kat is an option for a replacement nominee. When Nick asked what Cliff would have done had he won, he said that he probably would have nominated Jess next to either Kat or Nicole. Nick said he is leaning towards nominating Jess. Cliff said that he is not going to volunteer to be a pawn, but there would be no hard feelings if Nick does decide to use him as one. Nick said he would let Cliff know beforehand if it was going to come down to that. Afterwards, Nick let Jack and Jackson know that Cliff offered to be a pawn. Nick said that he was going to put Cliff up anyway. Jackson asked if Jess would be the other nominee. Nick said that he is leaning that way. Feeds went down at 10:53 for the Whacktivity Competition.
3:00-4:00 PM: Feeds returned at 3:35 following the Whacktivity Competition. When feeds returned, the houseguests were discussing that the competition involved solving a puzzle, and the pieces of the puzzle and the clues to the puzzle were beneath a bunch of cockroaches. Christie brought up that one the clues was a diamonds + “ee”. Nick was shocked to hear that it was Julie. He said that he failed to complete the puzzle in time. Analyse said that she spelled Julie wrong. She spelled it “Julee” due to the clue saying “+ee”. Analyse said that she didn’t finish due to that mistake. Christie and Jess were the only two who said that they completed the puzzle without maxing out their time. The solved puzzle was “Don’t meet Julie on eviction night”. Jackson and Nick said they think that Jess won. Jackson pointed out that her story has been inconsistent. Nick thought he heard them say during the competition that winning will ensure that you win the Big Brother game. Christie said they were told that it would help you win it.
4:00-5:00 PM: In the HoH room, Sam told Nick that they cant tell Jess that she is a pawn. He wants her to be scared so that she has to use her power if she won it. Kat came by. She asked if Nick thinks that Jess won it. Nick said yes. Jack then told Bella, Kat and Sam that Jess keeps changing her story, going from saying that she didn’t finish to saying that she did, over and over again. Elsewhere, Analyse and Christie told each other that they did not win the power. Analyse said she thinks that Jess won since she keeps changing her story. Christie said that Jess isn’t even trying to pretend that she doesn’t have it, but she is okay with Jess having it. Christie and Cliff then discussed that Jess likely has the power. Cliff pointed out that it would be worth nominating her in order to flush out her power. Christie agreed. Kat spoke to Jess to see if she had won it. Jess said she is so honest and she does not have it. She told Kat that she would have told her if she had it.
5:00-6:00 PM: Christie let Tommy know that she won the competition. She said that she received a Diamond Power of Veto that can be used at one of the next four veto ceremonies. She said that it can be activated anonymously. Before they could discuss it further, Jack came into the room. They changed the topic. Jack eventually told Tommy that he won last week’s Whacktivity Competition. Christie had already told Tommy that, but Tommy played it off as though it was the first that he was hearing of it. Meanwhile, Nick chatted with Jess. He let her know that he needs someone to go on the block next to Cliff, and the easiest move would be to nominate someone who has already been up there. He pointed out that that leaves either her or Kat. Nick assured Jess that she would be safe. He explained that Cliff was caught talking about wanting to break up the showmances, so he is definitely leaving this week. Feeds went down at 5:29 for the nomination ceremony.
6:00-7:00 PM: Feeds returned at 6:33 following the nomination ceremony. Nick nominated Cliff and Jess for eviction. While feeds were down, prior to the nomination ceremony, Nicole went to Bella to let her know that Analyse, Holly, Jack and Jackson want her and Nick out. Bella relayed the message on to Nick just prior to him locking in this nominations, but he stuck with the plan. When feeds returned, Gr8ful plus Sam had a meeting in the HoH room. Bella and Nick told them what Nicole had said. Everyone began shouting over each other, denying the claims made by Nicole. Bella mentioned Nicole saying that Analyse, Christie and Holly said that she is being bullied by Bella and Nick. Those three denied it and claimed that Nicole was the one saying thats he was bullied. Christie added that Nicole says that they play on her insecurities and corner her. Jackson said Nicole told him that she was interrogated. Tommy said that Nicole was playing both sides. Nicole tried to enter the room at one point, but she was sent away. Nick told the group that Nicole is going home. Ovi tried to enter the HoH room. He was told to go away. Ovi said that what they are doing is not very nice.
7:00-8:00 PM: Gr8ful and Sam continued their discussion about Nicole. They celebrated that they were able to see through what she was doing. They did a “not falling for your sh*t” cheer before wrapping things up. In the storage room, David questioned what happened with Ovi. Christie said they didn’t do anything to him, and he cannot take it personally that they said they were talking game. Christie called it a democracy and said that they can re-vote to see if they can talk game around those in Camp Comeback. David told Christie that Ovi was not speaking for everyone in Camp Comeback. Christie said that Ovi kind of just screwed himself. Afterwards, David spoke to Ovi. He told Ovi that he cannot let his emotions get the best of him. Ovi explained that he was feeling for Cliff, Jess and Nicole in the moment. David said that you cannot win this game unless you control your emotions. Elsewhere, Nicole told Cliff she was hoping that the two sides were going to go after each other. Nicole said people think that she has the power and that she was the rogue vote even though neither are true. Nicole mentioned that people are not talking to her. She said she thinks that Cliff is the only one who realizes that they are still human beings. Cliff told Nicole to be the bigger man and keep things on a non-personal level even if others cannot play the game that way. Cliff let Nicole know that they will be friends forever. Nicole worried that she is the villain, but Cliff assured her that she is not the villain. Up in the HoH room, Gr8ful continued to discuss Nicole. Nick was told that Nicole let Holly know that he called her a b*tch. Bella said Nicole swore on her grandmother’s life while talking to her. Christie said she did that because her grandmother passed away three years ago. They discussed that Nicole is a manipulator for using something like that.
8:00-9:00 PM: After dinner, Nick told his allies that he would like to have the veto used on Jess. He said that they are going to put Nicole up and then vote her out. Jack argued that Cliff isn’t that big of a threat since he confesses his entire game every morning. Bella started telling the group how Nicole reacted to finding that out. Jack asked if she told her. Bella confirmed that she did, which led to Jack saying that Cliff now knows that they know everything.
9:00-10:00 PM: Nicole filled Kemi in on what had happened with Bella just prior to the nomination ceremony. Nicole said Bella told her that Jack and Jackson were pushing for Nick to put her up because they think that she has the power. Nicole said she swore on her grandmother’s grave that she does not have the power. Nicole said Bella had also told her that people think she was the rogue vote, but Bella and Nick think that it was Jackson. Nicole admitted to having told Bella that Analyse, Holly, Jack and Jackson want her out, and the plan was for them to win HoH and nominate Bella and Nick. Nicole said Bella replied to that by saying that she knew it. Nicole believes that Bella then told everyone what she had said. Nicole asked Kemi if she thinks that she is a backdoor target. Kemi didn’t think that it would make sense to backdoor someone, but Nicole said that she has a weird feeling about it. Meanwhile, Christie and Cliff discussed that Christie overheard Cliff talking to the cameras. She said that she was going to the bathroom and happened to walk by just as he was saying her name. Christie said she also heard Cliff talking about his alliance.
12:00-1:00 AM: Bella and Nicole spoke with Tommy sitting in as the mediator. Nicole said she is emotional because she came to her in confidence to have a heart to heart, putting her trust in Bella, and there was no reason for Bella to then go and announce it to the whole house. Bella said the reason why she felt the need to do that is because she has a lot of connections in the house and what Nicole said didn’t make sense. Bella said that people got very angry when they brought up what Nicole had said, and then she and Nick got very angry that Nicole had labelled them a certain way. Bella said it’s disgusting that Nicole had the audacity to confide in Nick about sharing similarities when it comes to having anxiety, only to go behind his back and try to get him nominated. Bella talked about Nicole swearing on her grandmother’s life when her grandmother isn’t alive. Nicole clarified that she swore on her grandmother’s grave. Bella called it disrespectful to the game that Nicole would go around calling her and Nick bullies. Bella went on to say that she has zero trust in Nicole, that a lot of them don’t feel the need to talk to her, and she doesn’t ever want to have this conversation again. Bella claimed that America will see that all she has said are nice things. After that, Bella pointed out that Nicole is laughing. Nicole started to say why, but Bella said she is not there to listen. She said she is done and going to bed. Bella then left the room. Tommy apologized to Nicole for not getting her chance to speak. Nicole said he truth will come out. She said to not ever bring up her grandmother, since she will flip her lid. Nicole pointed out that there is a common denominator in her situation and in Kemi’s situation. Nicole then spoke to Kemi about what happened. Nicole said that Bella is crazy and made up a whole bunch of lies. She also said not to bring her family into this, because her family means so much to her that she will get thrown out of the game for punching you in the face if you do. Kemi said that what Bella did to Nicole is the same thing that she did to her. Nicole said that her only hope is to have a conversation with Nick. In the HoH room, Bella told Nick that Nicole was smiling and laughing. Bella brought up that Nicole started to get catty. Nick said it pisses him off that Nicole laughed about playing on her anxiety. He said he thought it was genuine, unless she is a sociopath. Nick said that he will diagnose Nicole.Nick said that Nicole is going home this week unless she wins the veto. In the boat room, Sam asked Christie if she would use the veto if she wins it. Christie said that she would leave the nominations the same. Jack said that they cannot risk Nicole going on the block and getting voted out. Christie talked about being terrified of Cliff. Christie said that she doesn’t want Bella and Nick to make an emotional decision to target Nicole. Christie told Sam that he will have a better shot at persuading Bella and Nick. Analyse agreed that Cliff going has to be the priority.
1:00-2:00 AM: Jack let Tommy know that he has a Final 2 deal with Jackson but he honours his deal with Tommy above all else. Tommy said the same to Jack. Christie and Analyse discussed that they still feel the same way towards Bella and Nick as they did before. Christie said she isn’t sure that they can be 100% trusted. They talked about wanting to keep Nicole around this week. Analyse said that even if she won the veto and Nick wanted her to use it, she would use it on Jess so that they could still vote Cliff out. Christie said that they are all going to make their voices heard tomorrow, and they are going to watch Bella panic. In the bathroom, Nicole spoke to Holly about her conversation with Bella. She said Bella told her that Jack and Jackson pushed for her to go on the block. Holly said if that’s true, she did not know about it. Nicole said she feels as though she is on an island, so when Bella asked her for information she attempted to build trust. Nicole admitted to telling Bella that almost everyone was going to nominate her and Nick had they won HoH. Holly said it’s a game and she does not fault Nicole for doing what she did. Nicole pointed out that Bella did the same thing to Kemi, so someone else is going to be next.
