Big Brother 21 Day 30 - Cliff is evicted but returns
July 18, 2019
6:00-7:00 PM: During tonight’s live eviction episode, Cliff was evicted by a vote of 6-4. While Kat was one of the four votes to evict Nicole, she was in on the plan and knew that Cliff was about to be evicted. David, Ovi, Kemi and Cliff then competed for a chance to get back in the game. Cliff won the competition.
7:00-8:00 PM: When feeds returned, Bella and Nick were in separate parts of the house, and members of the Gr8ful alliance were attempting to clear the air with them. Jack was telling Bella that they got worried when they saw her spending a lot of time with Cliff. Bella said that from now on, if she sees Jack talking to Cliff or Nicole, she is going to assume that he is trying to get them on his side. When Jack said that that seems kind of threatening, Bella said that he can assume the same if he sees her talking to them. Sam said that they have to rebuild, repair and recover. He suggested that they need to use their heads a little more moving forward. Bella said that she will not talk to anyone outside of their alliance. It was mentioned that they should not do that without someone else in the room. Meanwhile, Nick said he understands that they don’t trust Bella but he wants to make sure that they trust him. Tommy said that they trust Nick much more than they trust Bella. Analyse apologized to Nick. He said that he has always told her everything, and he has been nothing but there for her. Nick assured the alliance that he does not tell Bella everything. Christie said she knew that Nick was bad for her game and for the games of those who voted him out. Nick said that he can respect that. Analyse told Nick that she felt as though he did not want to change the vote. Nick talked about wanting to do everything as a group, and he didn’t understand that this is what they wanted when they were only approaching him individually. Analyse admitted that Bella scares her. Nick said that he would not let Bella nominate them.
8:00-9:00 PM: Jackson told Holly, Jack and Tommy that he is ready to draw the line in the sand. He explained that Bella and Nick will be going on the block if he wins HoH. Tommy said that they are all going to do that. If one of them win the veto, Jackson said that Sam would then go on the block. Jack said that he has the same plan. Holly agreed. Elsewhere, Tommy told Jess that she should have been included, but the vote flip happened at the last minute. He apologized to her. Tommy then spoke to Cliff, apologizing to him as well. Tommy said that it was completely a game move, and nothing personal. Cliff said it’s the game. He clarified that he is not going after the couples. Cliff talked about being the outcast with all of the couples, but he said that he is not about making big moves. Cliff talked about wanting to wait it out until the couples start to turn on each other. He said that he would have nominated Jess and Kat had Nicole been evicted. Cliff let Tommy know that he would still like to work with the couples if that is an option. Upstairs, Nick told Jack that he really wants him to be able to trust him. Nick clarified that he is his own player, and that he is not going to tell Bella everything. Nick talked about having to separate himself from Bella somewhat on a game level. Tommy spoke to Nicole about how the plan to keep her was in motion for days but he could not tell her. Tommy said it did not feel right to have her go down for something that she did not do. Tommy let Nicole know that a plan is unfolding, and the six of them will be gunning for HoH but they would love for her to win it too. Tommy said that they would like to work with her. Tommy then spoke to Bella. He apologized and said that he will do his best to make it up to her. Bella felt as though Christie was leading the talk in terms of defending the move after the eviction. Tommy said that she is a vocal person but they all felt the same way as her. Bella asked if Christie is going to nominate Nick. Tommy said no. When Bella asked what made them change their mind, Tommy said that it was Nicole pointing out that Cliff had said their name but she had not, plus the fact that they did not want Cliff and Ovi in the game together. Christie then talked to Bella. She said that there is no resentment on her end in terms of her potentially going on the block as the replacement nominee, because she realizes that it was all in her head. Bella said that she doesn’t understand this move and does not think that it was good gameplay.
9:00-10:00 PM: Feeds went down at 9:05 for the HoH competition.
11:00-12:00 AM: Feeds returned at 11:01 following the HoH competition. Cliff is the new HoH. Jackson spoke to Analyse and Jack about needing to talk to Cliff to let him know that their six will have his back if he goes after Nick and Bella. Cliff let Kat know that she is good this week. He said that he would like to get her involved in figuring out what they need to do moving forward. Next up, Cliff told Jess that they will have to figure out how to flip this thing. Cliff spoke to the cameras. He said that it will not be personal but there are targets in the house now, and they are going to be playing a slightly different game for the next week. In the kitchen, Cliff told Jess that the people who have already been on the block shouldn’t have to worry this week. In the RV room, Jess told Nicole that they shouldn’t have to worry this week. Nicole said that they will need to support Cliff. Kat joined them. She said that she expects Cliff to nominate Christie and Nick since they both put him up, or else he might target a showmance. Jess said she believes that Cliff might target Jack. Jess suggested that the bigger group is way more dangerous than Bella, Nick and Sam are. Kat agreed. In the storage room, Kat informed Analyse that Jess expects Christie and Jack to go on the block. Kat talked about her plan to convince Cliff to nominate Christie and Nick, since they both nominated Cliff and they would have the votes to evict Nick.
12:00-1:00 AM: Christie assumed that she will be one of the nominees. Analyse disagreed and pointed out that Christie has her power anyway. Christie mentioned that she did not want to have to use it as a threat. Jack said that he would rather go than have Christie go. Christie said no to that, telling Jack that she is in charge of her own fate. Jack brought up that their only option is to then have Christie and Nick go up so that they would have the numbers. Later, Jackson asked to speak to Christie alone. He asked her if she would be willing to use the power on him. Christie said yes. Jackson revealed that he and Cliff told each other that they will keep each other safe during the HoH competition. Jackson said that he can go up as a pawn next to Nick, which would keep his alliance with Cliff a secret. Christie said that she would like to be the one to let Cliff know about her power. Jackson said that he has a meeting planned with Cliff for later tonight, so she can join him for that.
2:00-3:00 AM: Cliff told Jackson that he was a little disappointed by the 6-4 vote but he was not all that surprised. Cliff said isn’t as concerned about Holly and Jackson, and he knows that he has to work with some of the couples. Jackson asked Cliff for his opinion on Nick and Bella. Cliff said he doesn’t necessarily trust Bella but he doesn’t mind working with the two of them if it helps him get further. Cliff explained that the people who he is concerned about are Christie, Tommy, Analyse and Jack. Jackson revealed that he would have nominated Nick and Bella since they have been playing both sides. He added that Nicole was not wrong. Jackson said that a lot of people will have Cliff’s back if he goes after Nick and Bella or Sam. Jackson let Cliff know about his plan to go up as a pawn. Jackson said that Cliff could go from a target to a hero in some people’s eyes. Jackson brought Christie up to the room. She explained that she had heard that he was coming after her, plus she feared him since she put him up. Christie informed Cliff that she has the third power. She filled Cliff in on the details of it. Christie said that she does not want him to be bamboozled.
3:00-4:00 AM: Cliff told Christie and Jackson to realize that he doesn’t have a target in his mind, at least in the short term. He said that he does not want to turn into a target afterwards. Next up, Cliff spoke to Kat. He said that he does not know what he is going to do yet until he gathers more information. When Cliff asked Kat who she is working with, she said that she is solo. Kat told Cliff that there are the six people against the three in Bella, Nick and Sam. She revealed that a couple of people within the six are now freaking out, and they will try to convince him to get rid of the three. Kat advised Cliff to play for his own game. Cliff said he looks at himself, Kat, Jess and Nicole, and he believes that they can get whoever they want out if they pair up with one of the couples. Cliff and Kat said they are worried that everyone will get them out before turning on each other. Kat said that Cliff was an expendable pawn in the plan to target Nick and Bella. Jess joined the HoH room. Cliff said that he does not want to waste the opportunity if he can get someone out who is not good for his game. Jess pointed out that there is a very big group that were able to flip the vote so easily. Cliff let Jess and Kat know that he has no plans to nominate either of them. Cliff said that he will not be scared to make a decision just because there is a bit of a risk involved. Kat advised Cliff to be wary of Nicole since she just had those six people save her, and she might side with them because of it. They talked about Christie saying that she is willing to take a shot at Jack. Jess brought up that he almost won HoH, plus he almost won one of the veto competitions that Sam won. Cliff said that Jack is on his list of targets that he is considering.
4:00-5:00 AM: Cliff told Jess and Kat that he is looking at Christie and Tommy, and Jack and Analyse. Cliff said that he might not be looking at Christie if she has this Diamond Power of Veto. Kat said the one thing that does bother about Analyse is that she does everything that Kemi got evicted for, but worse. Kat said that she personally would not target Tommy. Cliff said that he is going to get very far because everyone loves Tommy. Cliff suggested that Tommy could go on the block without being the primary target. Nicole joined them. Cliff said that he will not be intimidated into making a decision, and he will be doing whatever works best for his game. Cliff let them know that he does not want to target anyone who has been on the block before. Cliff said that he would like to get Sam involved, plus he has not ruled out working with Nick and Bella just yet.
