Big Brother 21 Day 57

August 14, 2019

00-2:00 PM: Kat started off her Wednesday campaigning with Christie. Kat told Christie that their relationship is very important to her both inside and outside of the house. Kat said that she would not put Christie up if she were to win HoH. She added that she would not vote to evict Christie either. Christie said she doesn’t think that Kat would nominate her. Christie mentioned being a bit upset that something got back to Holly that she had only said to Kat. Kat questioned if Christie is sure that she was the only one who knew about it, because it was something that she would not have told Holly since it would have hurt her personally as opposed to on a game level. Christie also pointed out that it’s weird how Holly and Jackson are not pushing for Kat to go when she is saying that Jackson is her target. Christie said the one thing that she fears about Kat is that dynamic between her, Holly and Jackson. Kat said she likes Holly but she told her that she can no longer have Jackson’s back once she realized that he was using her and would throw her under the bus whenever it is convenient to do so. Kat said that if she didn’t backdoor Jackson, she would probably put Holly up next to him so that she could not vote for him or campaign for him. Kat admitted that she was at one time considering nominating Tommy as a pawn but she would not do that now that she has given him her word. Meanwhile, Jackson told Nick that he is very conflicted and he has got to think about what is best for him in the long run. Jackson assured Nick that he would not put him up. Nick said he loves Holly and Jackson, and they have his word that he would not put them up. Nick said that he would not lie to them and lose their two jury votes in the process. Once Nick was alone, he said to the cameras that he has to do what is best for his game, so he would rather someone else get Holly and Jackson’s blood on their hands. Nick said that he cannot put them up.

00-3:00 PM: Kat told Christie that she would be one of Cliff’s targets. She pointed out that Cliff has a life and a family outside of this, so he is not there to make friends. Kat reassured Christie that she would love to work together moving forward. She went so far as to say that they would be a good combo in the Final 2 together. Nick was the next one who Kat campaigned to. Nick brought up that the guys would be outnumbered 6-3 if Cliff were to go. Kat said that she unfortunately cannot change that she is a girl. Kat let Nick know that she does not base her game moves on gender. Kat remained solid in her stance that she would go after Jackson if she stays. Nick didn’t buy it, and told her that he would feel more comfortable with an answer that she would not put them up. Kat said that she does not want to lie. Nick asked Kat what her plan would be moving forward if she does get Jackson out. Kat let Nick know that she would love to work with him. She talked about wanting to find a competitor who would be willing to fight for her and use PoVs on her like she would be willing to do for that person. Kat compared it to the duo of Tyler and Kaycee. Nick let Kat know that Analyse, Nicole and Tommy are the three people who he is closest to. He said that everything is telling him to keep Kat but he has to see how the house is voting. Nick teared up and told Kat that she had a really good campaign. That led Kat to ask if Nick had already cut a deal with Cliff to keep him. Nick said no.

00-4:00 PM: Nick headed up to the HoH room. He told Tommy that Kat had just campaigned to him so well. Nick brought up Kat saying that Jess would not go after him as long as she is in the house. Nick found that to be an appealing point in favour of keeping Kat. He also liked the talks of a Tyler and Kaycee type duo. Nick said he feels so wrong for sending Kat home due to things that she didn’t do. He believes that she is leaving because of Holly and Jackson. Tommy suggested that they would be better of competing against Cliff moving forward. Nick said he knows that but he wishes that it was different. Nick talked about feeling good with Holly and Jackson after his talks with them. He said that he would nominate Jess if he were to win HoH. As for the other nominee, he threw Kat’s name out there as a good option if she happened to stay. Tommy said he thinks that it is best for Kat to go since it would weaken Holly and Jackson. Nick said that he is going to keep Cliff but it sucks. Tommy told Nick that he is down for whatever, so he would like to know if Nick ends up changing his mind. Elsewhere, Kat campaigned to Jess. She let Jess know that she would take her to the Final 2 even if she thinks that she would lose to her. Kat said that she would fight for Jess and Nicole if either of them ever need someone to compete for them and use a veto on them. Kat stressed that she would like to make it to the end with those two girls. Kat admitted that she is not a deal maker. On the other hand, she said that Cliff might be out there making deals that could hurt Jess and Nicole. She mentioned that he is there to win, not to make friends. Kat said that she would never do Jess wrong, because she wants to be friends with her after this. Jess talked about wanting to vote for Kat to stay, out of loyalty, even if the votes are against her. Kat said that she does not want to leave the house until she gets to take her shot at Jackson. She let Jess know that Jackson did her wrong at the start of the game, stunting her potential. Jess asked where they would go if Jackson leaves. Kat suggested that Nick could be someone who they could work with since he is close to Nicole, which they could use to their advantage, and he is an athletic person. Jess encouraged Kat to speak to Nicole to make a similar pitch to her. Jess warned Kat that Nicole has some trust issues with her.

00-5:00 PM: Nick asked Nicole what she is thinking. Nicole said that she is still thinking of keeping Cliff. Nick said that he is too but Kat’s campaign crushed him since he feels as though he is voting her out for reasons that her not her fault. However he said that he cannot keep her due to her connection with Holly and Jackson. Nicole said that she is dealing with the same issue. Nick said he does kind of believe that Kat would target Jackson, because she has been a logical player up to this point. Nick doesn’t think that Kat would risk losing everyone’s jury votes by lying to them about that. His concern is that Kat would not want to try to win HoH in order to avoid having to make that move. Nick and Nicole agreed that Cliff would be down to go to the end with the two of them. Nick said that that is why Kat has got to go. Kat cried to Christie and Jess. She said that she feels helpless at this point. Kat questioned why people would vote her out when they know that she is not going after them, whereas Cliff has mentioned many names. Christie brought up that Kat had a chance to send home the person who she is claiming to be her #1 target last week but she did not do it. Kat said that her vote would not have made a difference. Jess backed Kat up in that by telling Christie that Nick was never going to vote to keep Jack. Kat added that she does not know why she is taking the fall when Cliff was never going to keep Jack either. Christie argued that it’s different since Cliff was not the one saying that Jackson was his target.

00-6:00 PM: Kat campaigned to Nicole. She told her that she would like to get to the end with her and Jess, and she would be willing to use the veto on them. Kat gave Nicole her word that she would not put her up. Nicole talked about this being a tough decision for her since both Cliff and Kat are her friends. Nicole said it would not bother her if Kat is close to Holly and Jackson. Kat explained that Jackson is her target since he has been messing up her game since the start. Kat said that Jackson was feeding her information and acting like he had her back, yet he did not advocate for her to be in the eight. On top of that, she said that Jackson came to her after Ovi was evicted to say that they could no longer work together. Kat said that Jackson tried to convince her that the best alliances go unseen, because he did not want to be associated with her, but he slept with Holly that same night. Kat said that she will be going after Jackson if she stays. When Nicole asked if Kat would want to win HoH, she said that she absolutely would. Kat told Nicole that she needs to win to make that move because people are doubting her more and more as time goes on. Kat suggested that the two of them and Jess could potentially work with Nick moving forward. Nicole said that she needs to hear Cliff’s campaign, and then she would like to get together with Jess to figure out which way they are going to vote. Kat said that Cliff being a deal maker is scary since you don’t know what kind of deals he is making. Nicole said that she has thought about that since it is better for her and Jess that Kat is not trying to cut deals with other people.

00-7:00 PM: Nick reiterated to Holly and Jackson that he is not going after them. He said that he does not really have targets at the moment, so he does not know if he even wants to win HoH. Meanwhile, Holly spoke to Kat about her campaign. Kat asked if Jackson will definitely be voting for her. Holly said that the only way that they would vote Kat out is if she does not have the numbers. Kat said she is hoping that the vote is 4-3 so she can get out of targeting Jackson by going after the three people who voted to evict her instead. In the storage room, Nick talked to Jackson about how he loves Kat but he cannot keep her around. He let Jackson know that he wouldn’t mind getting to six with Holly, Jackson, Analyse, Nicole and Tommy. Jackson said that he would not be mad about that either.

00-8:00 PM: Cliff spoke to Analyse to solidify his intention to make the Final 6 deal that has been discussed this week. He let Analyse know that he would throw HoH to her or to Nicole if it came down to it, since he knows that they would really like to see their families. Analyse said that that would be amazing. Both agreed that they would nominate Holly and Jackson if they were to win HoH. After that, Cliff thinks that Jess would be pissed at him if and when he needs to nominate her. Nicole told Jess that she heard Kat out when it comes to her campaign. Nicole admitted that she no longer knows what she wants to do. Nicole expressed her desire to give Kat the opportunity to take a shot at Jackson. Jess said that she does believe Kat when she says that she wants Jackson to go. Nicole added that Kat is more likely to win HoH for them if it is a physical competition.

00-9:00 PM: Nick told Nicole that he would rather keep Cliff. Nick said he does not believe that Kat would nominate Holly and Jackson if she were to win HoH. Nick also said that Kat has probably cost herself two votes in Holly and Jackson by telling others that she is targeting them, or else he would have considered keeping her. Jess and Nicole picked up on their earlier conversation. They agreed that Kat will fight for HoH despite what people may think. Jess thinks that Holly and Jackson would have approached them by now if they were working with Kat, as they would want to figure out if they can find a way to keep her safe. Nicole said that Kat would keep them safe and she would take a shot at big targets, whether she goes after Holly and Jackson or not.

00-10:00 PM: Cliff checked in with Nicole to see what she is thinking. Nicole said that she is completely stressed out but he knows where she is leaning. Nicole explained that she feels bad for Kat since she does believe her. The two then discussed the proposed Final 6 deal. Cliff said he feels horrible that Jess is not a part of it, but he said that she would have three weeks to win an HoH in order to shake things up before she would be targeted. Nicole said she fears the totem pole within that six, but at least it would get them to that point. Cliff agreed.
