Big Brother 22 Day 18 - Cody wins the Power of Veto
August 22, 2020
8:13 AM: Bayleigh told Janelle that Nicole is acting so weird towards her. Janelle said it’s because Nicole is a snake. Janelle added that Nicole is a huge threat in the game. Bayleigh said that you have to attack Ian with Nicole, because Ian would use the veto on her.
8:23 AM: Cody let Bayleigh know that she was talking in her sleep. Cody said Bayleigh said “it’s Nicole’s turn”. Bayleigh said that’s terrifying. She asked that Cody not tell anyone because Nicole would freak out. Cody admitted that he had already told Christmas, Da’Vonne and Dani.
8:37 AM: Feeds went down to pick players for the veto competition.
9:07 AM: Feeds returned. The veto players are Tyler, Janelle, Kaysar, Bayleigh, Cody and Memphis.
9:10 AM: Dani told Cody that Memphis had better not throw the competition. She suggested that Cody pump him up. Cody said that he will take him and Tyler over Janelle and Kaysar in the competition.
9:12 AM: Dani asked Bayleigh what she is going to do with the veto. Bayleigh said that she would keep the nominations the same. Dani encouraged Bayleigh to try to win it. Bayleigh said that she will be trying to.
11:12 AM: Memphis told Tyler that he is playing to the win the veto. Tyler said that they need to keep it the same. Memphis agreed that he would keep it the same. They discussed that Bayleigh wont be trying hard to win. Memphis told Tyler that Janelle asked him if he would use the veto on her, and he said no. When Tyler asked who should go first, Memphis said that Kaysar is the one pushing and driving the house crazy but Janelle is a scary player. Memphis figured that Kaysar would be a casualty along the way no matter what, and everyone in the house would nominate him again next week. Memphis thinks it would be less likely that Janelle would go on the block again. For that reason, Memphis said that it may make more sense to get rid of Janelle.
11:38 AM: Dani told Tyler that Bayleigh said Janelle asked her to use the veto on her, and Bayleigh said she wouldn’t do it. They figured that it will come down to Cody and Tyler vs Janelle and Kaysar. Dani brought up Da’Vonne being weirded out by Enzo saving Christmas. Tyler doesn’t understand why she doesn’t feel safe with him. He said that she should at least trust their alliance for the first week that it was made. They talked about Da’Vonne trying to flip the vote to evict David last week. Dani thinks that David likes Da’Vonne. Dani said it’s so annoying being in an alliance when you don’t trust 1/3 of it. Tyler said it’s dumb to make an alliance just to stay safe, and not because you trust the people. They talked about Da’Vonne make the same mistakes as she did during her previous two seasons.
11:59 AM: Janelle and Kaysar discussed that Kevin 100% threw them under the bus when he wasn’t even in danger. They agreed that he is a floater. Janelle said that she will not be working with Kevin or Da’Vonne if she stays. Kaysar asked if Da’Vonne is double-crossing them. Janelle said yes, and that Da’Vonne does that because she doesn’t have skill aside from spreading information. Kaysar said that he loves Da’Vonne as a person but can’t play with her as a player. Kaysar told Janelle that his only options for people to work with if he stays are Bayleigh, maybe Christmas, and possibly Ian. Kaysar suggested that they could make a pact to go after the floaters. Kaysar wondered if Memphis would be the replacement nominee. Janelle said that it will be Kevin. She also said that Memphis already told her that he will not use the veto. Janelle said she knows it sounds crazy but she couldn’t even go after Nicole because of the Ian thing, so she would put Da’Vonne and Kevin on the block. Janelle said that her days are numbered so she would take out a floater. Kaysar questioned why she wouldn’t want to take out those who are running the house. Janelle said that she will be playing an individual game if Kaysar leaves, and she absolutely hates floaters.
1:00 PM: Feeds went down.
3:16 PM: Feeds returned. Cody won the Power of Veto.
4:00 PM: Dani told Christmas and Nicole that Memphis was so obvious in throwing the competition. Christmas then brought up hearing that Janelle was waiting for the veto competition and possibly the veto ceremony to end before blowing things up. Dani told Nicole to prepare for it. Nicole said that she is scared of what’s going to come out of Janelle’s mouth. She said that it’s going to hurt her feelings. Christmas coached her on how to deal with Janelle.
4:05 PM: Memphis told Christmas and Nicole that he is thinking it is best to get Janelle out since she would have a better shot at reeling people in if she stayed. Nicole added that Kaysar is not good at competitions. All three agreed that Janelle should be the one to go.
4:22 PM: Nicole told Cody that she owes him because she is so appreciative that he did so well in the competition. Nicole asked that Cody try to calm Janelle down but she said that he probably wont be able to. Cody that he will try since he is going to continue talking to her.
4:28 PM: Enzo mentioned to Bayleigh that Janelle would be a big target to keep. They both talked about how Janelle could go after Nicole if she were to stay. Bayleigh said that they should have a meeting with their alliance to talk it over.
4:32 PM: Kaysar spoke to Janelle about possibly approaching Tyler with a deal. Janelle figured that it would be a lost cause since everyone wants them to be split up. She told Kaysar that he would do more harm than good since he is going to be the one staying. Kaysar asked Janelle for her thoughts on him trying to convince people to send him home. Janelle said that it would backfire. Kaysar thought that Janelle would be able to get further in the game than he would be able to, but she thinks that she is too big of a target to last more than another couple of weeks. The two discussed that it has been great to spend time together after so many years. Moving forward, Kaysar said that he will continue to be aggressive, and this time he will be pissed since Janelle wont be there. He pointed out that this will be his first time in the house without her. Janelle said that he will have a shot if he can chill out.
5:41 PM: Cody, Enzo and Tyler talked about the vote. Cody mentioned that the girls might take Janelle leaving as confirmation of a guys alliance since three girls will have been evicted. Tyler suggested seeing what they want. Cody said that Dani and Nicole will want Janelle to go.
6:02 PM: Janelle told Bayleigh and Kaysar that she may target a floater if she is still there next week. Kaysar said that he is torn. Janelle said she is trying to be as positive as possible but she is realistic and knows that she is likely going home this week. Bayleigh said that both Janelle and Kaysar are equally talked about.
6:26 PM: Enzo told Tyler that the girls had better win some competitions and earn their keep. Tyler said that they aren’t going to, so they need to win, for them to stay with them, and then pick the girls off before they get the chance to do the same to them. Enzo believes that Dani has the best social game of all of the girls, whereas Christmas is the best competitor.
6:56 PM: Kaysar asked Bayleigh what she would do if she were to win HoH next week. Bayleigh said that her plan would have been to nominate Ian next to Nicole. Bayleigh talked about not being worried when it comes to Nicole winning competitions. Janelle pointed out that Nicole has a lot of relationships with people she knew outside of the house. She added that if you get rid of Nicole, you can work with Ian. Bayleigh said the problem is that you need votes to get her out. They discussed that Nicole would have to go up against someone loved in order to be evicted.
7:18 PM: Janelle asked Kaysar if he can pick Nicole to be a have-not for her if she leaves. Kaysar said okay. Janelle suggested that Kaysar stand up, look directly at Nicole, and say “this is from Janelle”.
8:35 PM: Enzo told Bayleigh he thinks that they should get rid of Janelle. He mentioned that she will likely get whatever power comes into play if she stays. Bayleigh’s concern was that nobody will target Nicole if Janelle leaves. Enzo said that the game can change a lot. Bayleigh gave in, saying that Janelle can go.
10:04 PM: Nicole told Christmas about an incident with Bayleigh last night. Nicole explained that she and Dani were teasing Da’Vonne about David because David has a crush on her. Nicole said that it was cute and playful, but Bayleigh heard about it and thought that she was trying to sabotage Da’Vonne’s game with a showmance. Nicole said Da’Vonne brought up that she did fine with a showmance, and then Bayleigh added that it took her a couple of tries and a couple of guys.
