Big Brother 22 Day 3 - Cody nominates Keesha and Kevin
August 7, 2020
9:44 AM: Bayleigh and Da’Vonne discussed that they felt comfortable when talking to Cody. The two of them said that they are down for having a “black girl magic” alliance together. It was mentioned that they will try to talk David. Da’Vonne was unsure of why he has been distant with her.
9:52 AM: Da’Vonne and Dani talked about not knowing who the easy target is this week. Da’Vonne doesn’t think that Cody was after Janelle and Kaysar. Both agreed that Kaysar is a nice guy. As for Janelle, Dani said that she hasn’t talked to her much except for online to say that she has a nice family. Da’Vonne said that they have to watch out for a guys alliance that she thinks is forming. She mentioned Cody, Enzo and Tyler as those who may be involved. Da’Vonne revealed that she doesn’t know about Nicole F since she screwed her over in Season 18.
10:02 AM: Cody and Enzo talked about going to the Final 2 together. Cody suggested that they could do something similar to what Enzo and Hayden did during BB12. They talked about having a core group that includes Dani and Nicole F. Cody said that he plans to nominate Kevin next to Keesha now that Janelle and Kaysar are safe. Both agreed that they are more uneasy about Kaysar than they are about Janelle. They think that Kaysar was behind the plan to play yesterday.
11:14 AM: Da’Vonne and Janelle discussed working together. Da’Vonne said she doesn’t think that Cody was after Janelle and Kaysar. The two talked about Nicole F being friends with Cody even though she is playing it off as though they aren’t. Da’Vonne said she feels comfortable with Christmas and Bayleigh in addition to Janelle. They agreed that Dani would be a good ally, but Janelle said that she hasn’t really talked to her yet. Janelle let Da’Vonne know that Nicole F and Dani are close, which she did not know about.
11:24 AM: Enzo told Dani that Cody mentioned Kevin as a possible nominee. Dani said she likes the four of Cody, Nicole F, Enzo and herself. She said that Memphis and Tyler could be two more to work with but they have to be careful with them.
11:31 AM: Kevin told Dani and Enzo that he expects a combination of David, Keesha and Memphis to go up on the block, though he noted that Cody has not given him any reassurances that he seems to have given others.
11:39 AM: Kevin mentioned to Ian that the two of them and Nicole A are the non-athletes in the group. Ian said that he likes that group and would be receptive to the idea of working together. They talked about it being tougher to nominate this time compared to past seasons since everyone is so nice.
2:34 PM: Da’Vonne told Keesha she doesn’t think that Cody will put her on the block. Da’Vonne said that it wouldn’t make sense. Keesha expects to be put on the block.
3:35 PM: Cody let Dani know that he plans to nominate Keesha and Kevin, but he does not know what he will say for his speech.
3:51 PM: Kevin pulled Cody aside to let him know that he is nervous because he has a hard time connecting with people that are different than him. He reassured Cody that he did not do anything wrong, and it’s not him. Afterwards, Cody headed up to his HoH room and was in deep thought.
3:58 PM: Dani asked Da’Vonne who she would like to see on the block. She mentioned Ian’s name. Dani said that Nicole A, someone who she doesn’t view as a strong competitor, would be a good choice.
4:05 PM: Kaysar spoke to Keesha about wanting to work together with her and Memphis. Keesha said she was hoping to work with Janelle, Kaysar and Memphis. Kaysar said he needs to know that Keesha and Memphis are good. Keesha plans to talk to him later. Kaysar said he thinks that Memphis will be kept off of the block since the guys want to bring him in once Keesha is gone, which they cannot let happen.
4:34 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
6:03 PM: Feeds returned. Cody nominated Keesha and Kevin for eviction.
6:05 PM: Keesha was crying. She said that she didn’t want to cry especially since she knew that this was going to happen. Da’Vonne told her that her gut is out of this world. Keesha said that it’s game on now and it’s time to play.
6:08 PM: Kevin headed to the HoH room to speak to Cody who apologized for not being able to tell him when they spoke earlier. Kevin said that he has no ill-will towards him. Both agreed that they could still work together even after this. Kevin said that he always wanted to have a “down low mance”, and nobody would see it coming.
6:31 PM: Nicole F checked in with Cody. Cody said he really likes Kevin and he was questioning why he was even nominating him prior to doing so. Nicole said that she likes Kevin as well. Nicole mentioned that Enzo doesn’t seem to trust her, which she attributed to him being scared of her as a winner. Cody disagreed and told her not to worry since he has Enzo. Cody let Nicole know that Janelle said “Nicole plays like she doesn’t know anything”, but he didn’t know which Nicole it was about.
6:35 PM: Keesha spoke to Cody. Cody apologized, saying he didn’t know where to go with his move. He pointed out that nobody has done anything to make him think that they are a problem. Keesha asked if that means that she is not necessarily Cody’s target. Cody said not at all, and he will leave it up to the house to figure out.
7:51 PM: Nicole F told Dani that she got a weird vibe from Janelle. Dani said that she doesn’t trust Janelle at all. Nicole said Janelle is claiming to trust Dani, which Dani had also heard from Da’Vonne.
7:52 PM: As Dani and Nicole F were talking about Janelle, she entered the room. Dani and Janelle took the opportunity to chat since they have not talked yet. Dani asked Janelle what happened yesterday. Janelle explained that she did not feel comfortable after her talk with Cody, so she decided to compete. Dani said she has not heard Janelle’s name from anyone but it seems like nobody is playing the game. Janelle brought up that Cody and Nicole F might be working together, which Dani said she was wondering about.
8:23 PM: Keesha asked Memphis if he is going to vote her out over Kevin. Memphis said that he will not vote her out since he needs her there. Keesha said that a couple of other people feel that way and want the two of them there.
8:31 PM: Dani asked Janelle who she would nominate if she were to win HoH next week. Janelle said “threats”. When Dani asked who, Janelle said that she has no idea. Dani said that she has no idea either. Janelle told Dani that Josh and Kaycee must have tested positive for COVID. They discussed that Tyler was surprised that Kaycee was not there, and then Keesha and Memphis were called in at the last minute.
8:32 PM: Nicole F told Ian and Kevin that she really relates to the two of them and Nicole A, and she feels like they would be her friends outside of the house. Kevin said that they are all awkward. Nicole suggested that they should try to watch out for each other.
10:14 PM: Memphis told Keesha that he would like it if they could backdoor someone this week. However Memphis said he think that Keesha would easily win a vote over Kevin. He encouraged her to keep doing what she is doing, as people will want her out if they push too hard and make it seem like they are together with Janelle and Kaysar. Memphis revealed that he would have went after two of the “young brats” had he won HoH. He later singled out Ian as someone that you cannot keep around. He said that Ian’s type are always silent but deadly. When Keesha brought up what she should do if she were to get houseguest’s choice, Memphis said that he would throw it if he is competing, making her chances better.
11:18 PM: Da’Vonne asked Cody how he feels about work with her, Bayleigh and Enzo. Cody reassured Da’Vonne that he will never put her up. They agreed to listen for each other’s names.
11:26 PM: Dani informed Cody that everyone thinks he is working with Nicole F, and they also think that he is with Enzo, Memphis and Tyler. Dani worried that Cody would go up next to Nicole. Dani suggested bringing in Da’Vonne since she thinks that she is running things downstairs as does Janelle. Dani added that those two do not trust Nicole F. Dani said that she really likes Da’Vonne and would work with her, but she is worried that things would then go to Bayleigh and onto Janelle.
11:57 PM: Ian and Nicole F discussed that they need to work together as the only two winners. They pinky swore and named their alliance “Million Club”. They talked about needing to downplay their wins and say that they got lucky. When Ian asked Nicole how her relationship with Cody is, she admitted that it is pretty good.
12:11 AM: Nicole A talked to Da’Vonne and Kevin about things not adding up. She didn’t understand why Memphis would not be on the block next to Keesha if Keesha is the target. Nicole talked about walking in on a conversation between Cody and Memphis. She thought that it looked like they were in a Final 2. Nicole worried that she is seeing Janelle with Kaysar, Cody and Tyler too often. The three discussed that there could already be a big group that they are on the outs with.
12:31 AM: Kaysar told Keesha he thinks that there may be a plan to backdoor Memphis. Keesha told Kaysar about Memphis’ plan for them to throw the veto. Kaysar could not believe it. He said that Memphis needs to wake up and start playing. Kaysar questioned how anyone could think that Cody would settle for the consolation prize of Kevin after trying to target him initially.
12:50 AM: Kaysar went to Nicole A to ask her to send Memphis downstairs from the have-not room. Janelle suggested that it may not be a good idea, so it did not end up happening.
12:57 AM: Kaysar said that Memphis doesn’t understand the urgency of everything. Janelle said that he may not want to throw his game away. He plans to talk to him tomorrow in order to convince him of what’s going on.
1:10 AM: Janelle told Kaysar that they have to keep a low profile. She told him that he needs to throw the veto comp if he gets picked to play. Kaysar admitted that winning it will do him no good, and the only good scenario is for Memphis to win and save Keesha.
