Big Brother 22 Day 4 - Enzo wins the Power of Veto
August 8, 2020
8:26 AM: Kaysar told Memphis he thinks that he and Keesha are in danger. Memphis said that he may throw the veto competition so that Keesha can win it. Kaysar said that Memphis will then go on the block since Cody is trying to break up the couples, but Memphis said that he is not worried about it. When Kaysar said he understands that Memphis doesn’t want to blow his cover with Keesha, Memphis said that there is no cover to blow since he is the one who backstabbed Keesha at Final 4 and caused her to cry for hours. Kaysar explained that he needs Keesha and Memphis in the game. Memphis said that he doesn’t trust Keesha and she should not trust him. Kaysar said the main point he had to hear is that Memphis is not putting all of his eggs in Keesha's basket. While Memphis said that he is not, he is not opposed to looking out for her but he would not use the veto on anyone unless there was a plan to backdoor someone that Cody was in on.
9:47 AM: Memphis filled Cody in on his talk with Kaysar. He said that Kaysar might spin himself out of the game. They discussed that they are good as long as Kaysar doesn’t piece it together that the two of them are working together. Cody said that he had wanted to put Kaysar up since he rubs him the wrong way. When Memphis asked Cody what he would like to have happen with the veto, Cody said that he would like to keep the nominations the same. Memphis mentioned Kaysar thinking that he will be the replacement nominee.
10:02 AM: Keesha spoke to Janelle about Memphis’ theory that she would have the votes to stay over Kevin. The girls were not so sure about that, though Keesha observed that Kevin seems to be legitimately sad.
10:12 AM: Dani told Enzo that Cody and Nicole F cannot be seen together, because everyone thinks that they are working together. Enzo brought up that he likes Bayleigh and Da’Vonne. While Dani said that she likes Da’Vonne, she worried that they talk to Janelle.
10:16 AM: Dani asked Tyler which way he is leaning this week. Tyler said that he likes both of the nominees a lot. Dani asked if Tyler will be fighting for HoH next week, which he said that he would be. Dani and Tyler told each other that they have nothing to worry about if one of them wins.
10:46 AM: Da’Vonne asked if Nicole F is getting the vote that there might be a big alliance. Nicole said that there might be one with the guys, and she was breaking down the other day because she is on the outs of the big alliance just like she was during BB16. As for the nominees, Nicole said that she would be more sad if Kevin were to leave. Da’Vonne agreed but said that she likes Keesha as a fan of the game.
10:54 AM: When Cody and Kaysar chatted, Cody said that he feels as though he did a good job with both of the nominees in terms of smoothing things over. He admitted that he initially wanted Kevin to stay but he is fine with either result.
11:19 AM: Cody asked Janelle if something that he said caused her to play for safety. Janelle said no. Cody reassured Janelle that he was not going to nominate her. Janelle explained that anything could have changed during the week, and it was about odds since she knew that more people would be competing for safety in weeks two and three.
11:35 AM: Dani told Enzo that she would like to see Keesha go if nominations remain the same. She mentioned that the girl seem to want to keep Keesha, Enzo said that the girls are scaring him and Kevin has nobody. Dani added that Keesha was good at competitions during her season. They continued to discuss working together with Cody and Nicole F.
11:39 AM: Nicole F told Kaysar that he is good with her if she wins HoH next week. Nicole said that Kaysar reminds her of Victor, and Kaysar said that he expected to see Victor in the house and had him on his shortlist of who he would like to work with.
11:55 AM: Dani told Janelle she can’t believe that Kaysar came back to play. Janelle said he is excited to play and he needs to calm down. They talked about David being likely to align with the guys, their admiration of Cody, and the fact that they are not naming names with anyone.
12:24 PM: When Dani asked who Cody would nominate if the veto is used, he said that it might be Nicole A. Dani then asked about Christmas, and Cody said that he would like to keep her around to clash with someone as long as it’s not one of them. Dani mentioned that she does not feel close to Christmas, Keesha or Nicole A. Cody brought up not wanting to get on Janelle’s bad side, as he fears that people will listen to her. Cody told Dani about his conversation with Ian last night. Dani thinks that Ian was trying to cut a deal with Cody and that he will take joy in getting rid of the big players. The two discussed potentially creating something with Bayleigh and Da’Vonne.
1:13 PM: Dani told Kevin that she will try to get the votes in his favour. Kevin said that he would want to return the favour in big ways, such as by making her his plus one.
1:55 PM: Nicole F told Dani that Da’Vonne seems to be good with her. Dani advised Nicole to be careful with Da’Vonne since she tells Janelle everything. Nicole said that she would be more worried about Janelle winning HoH than she would be about Da’Vonne winning HoH. Dani and Nicole talked about liking Kaysar, but Dani said that he is not good at the game. When Nicole said that she like Ian, Dani told her that he seemed to have been trying to create a Final 2 with Cody last night.
2:08 PM: Cody told Enzo that he likes Janelle since she said that she wants to go after the weak players. He thinks that Dani is hiding that she is tight with Janelle, though he is not worried that Dani would pick Janelle over them.
2:11 PM: Dani told Nicole F that she does not trust Janelle but she would not be the one to take her out since she does not think that Janelle will be after her for a long time. Nicole hopes that Kaysar could keep her safe with Janelle. Nicole talked about having messed up with Nicole A by saying that her co-host hates her. She said that Nicole’s face went red and she started to cry about it.
2:18 PM: Dani let Enzo know that Janelle really likes him and thinks that it would suck if Enzo were to leave. Enzo worried that she is only saying that because lots of people like him, but Dani said that it was not fake.
2:21 PM: Feeds went down to pick players for the veto competition.
2:54 PM: Feeds returned. The veto players are Cody, Keesha, Kevin, Enzo, Ian and Tyler. Da’Vonne is the host.
2:58 PM: Enzo told Bayleigh that he loves her, Cody and Bayleigh. He said that he and Cody will protect her and Da’Vonne if they do the same in return. Bayleigh said that it’s a solid four and that they will need to pick a name.
3:13 PM: Memphis spoke to Keesha about Cody’s plan for the week. He said there is no way that Cody nominated Kevin as a pawn, and that it would make no sense for Cody to do anything but stay neutral when it comes to the vote.
3:16 PM: Kevin told Ian that he would pay him back if he were to use the veto on him. Ian said that he would have to know who the replacement nominee would be. Kevin offered to make Ian his plus one next week.
3:30 PM: Ian told Kaysar that he has been struggling in the past 15 hours when it comes to socializing. Kaysar told Ian that he can always be himself with him since he understands what he is going through and he will look out for him. Kaysar told Ian that being on the spectrum is like a super power and all that it means is that they learn differently. Ian said that he is a sucker for working with old school players so he will have Kaysar’s back. Kaysar said that he will look out for Ian even if he doesn’t reciprocate, because being on the spectrum hits deep with him.
3:47 PM: Nicole F told Ian not to kill himself in the competition since she thinks that she can talk Cody into keeping them safe. When Ian asked if she is sure, Nicole said yeah since Cody likes him too.
4:10 PM: Janelle told Keesha that there are many things they can do if she stays on the block, so just try to win the veto and then they can go to Plan B if not. Keesha thinks that she could get votes from Janelle, Kaysar, Memphis, Enzo, Nicole and Da’Vonne.
4:35 PM: David and Da’Vonne discussed that they would prefer to see Kevin stay over Keesha, though David said that it is too early for him to risk a lot in order to keep Kevin. David talked about feeling comfortable with Bayleigh, Da’Vonne and Nicole A.
7:23 PM: Feeds went down for the veto competition.
9:50 PM: Feeds returned. Enzo won the Power of Veto.
10:29 PM: Enzo asked Tyler if he should keep the nominations the same. When Tyler said to, Enzo said that he is going to talk to Cody to see what he wants.
10:52 PM: Enzo told Cody that he will do whatever he wants him to do. Cody said to keep the nominations the same. Enzo then said that he was wondering if they should get rid of Tyler right now but said that it is up to Cody. Cody laughed and the conversation ended.
10:29 PM: Enzo asked Tyler if he should keep the nominations the same. When Tyler said to, Enzo said that he is going to talk to Cody to see what he wants.
10:52 PM: Enzo told Cody that he will do whatever he wants him to do. Cody said to keep the nominations the same. Enzo then said that he was wondering if they should get rid of Tyler right now but said that it is up to Cody. Cody laughed and the conversation ended.
11:02 PM: Kaysar told Janelle that he is laying low, which she thought was a great idea after he seemed to be losing it yesterday. Kaysar explained that if Memphis is okay with losing Keesha, then there is no reason for him to care. Kaysar told Janelle that Nicole F is worried that she doesn’t like her because she doesn’t have a good relationship with Rachel. Janelle couldn’t believe that Nicole was still talking about that. She said that she doesn’t care about it. As for this week, Janelle said that she would like to see Keesha stay but she cannot be too pushy about it. Looking ahead, Janelle threw David’s name out there as someone that she would like to target. Janelle explained that his game is an unknown and she would like to be able to work with Cody and Tyler. Kaysar added that David is dangerous since he is the only who that knew what was going on last season.
11:07 PM: Dani mentioned to Nicole F that Derrick is probably so happy that she and Cody are working together. Nicole said she hopes so but Derrick is going to be mad at her cause she lied to him.
12:57 AM: Bayleigh and Da’Vonne chatted about the plan for the week. Both are leanings towards keeping Kevin. They also talked about working together as a four with Cody and Enzo as they had previously discussed.
1:58 AM: Kevin told Cody that he is wondering if he can go to Enzo to get him to use the veto in order to show that he is a man of his word. Cody said the issue is that the replacement nominee would immediately think that they are his target, and he does not want to get more blood on his hands by nominating a third person this week. When Kevin asked Cody if he can see them working together, Cody said 100%. He reiterated that he would like to see Kevin stay this week.
