Big Brother 23 Day 21
July 27, 2021
10:42 AM: Kyland told Tiffany that they should win HoH this week if the next target is Whitney, otherwise they would have to take the shot at Britini the following week. He also mentioned that they could also have someone take a shot at Claire but he does not want that. Tiffany said she would like to put Alyssa on the block with Whitney. Kyland said he will ask Xavier if he is willing to tell his team that one of them will have to go up as a pawn. Tiffany explained that keeping the Kings as long as they can will jeopardize the Cookout since the Kings have three people that need to go. She said it would be great if the Jokers were to win HoH and take a shot at the Kings. Tiffany said she would almost rather take a shot at Britini this week because it leaves Whitney for people to go after. Kyland worried that he did not know what Whitney would do if she were to win HoH. Kyland and Tiffany agreed that if they are with the Cookout, nothing else can matter but it seems like it’s not that way for some of the other members. Tiffany asked if they should get the six as far as they can or to the end. Kyland said they need to get them to jury.
11:02 AM: Kyland spoke to Claire and Tiffany about going after the Kings being the obvious move. He said that when he plays chess, he always looks for a move that’s better than the obvious one, though he goes back to the obvious move more than 50% of the time. There was a discussion about how if Whitney goes next week, there will no longer be a house target for the following week. Tiffany suggested that if they could keep the Jokers out of things this week, they could gain their trust. Claire and Tiffany mentioned that throwing HoH to Azah would be ideal. Kyland said they need a Joker or Whitney to win HoH. The team talked about needing two Kings on the block in order to avoid having to show their cards this week.
11:46 AM: Claire told Tiffany that she may like to get Christian out since he has been saying her name already. Tiffany agreed that it would be good to get him out since all of the teams would be down a strong guy. Tiffany suggested that they could then work on Alyssa later. Claire added that Sarah Beth feels that she has Alyssa, making her less of a threat than Christian.
12:00 PM: Kyland told Xavier that Christian came to Claire and Tiffany to ask why one of the Queens wouldn’t want to win HoH. Kyland said that they are willing to win HoH but they will have to use one of the Kings as a pawn. Kyland said the issue with doing so is that the Royal Flush will be exposed when the member of the Kings gets the votes to stay. Xavier agreed that cards would have to be shown if the Queens win. He said that Alyssa winning would be the best option for that alliance. Kyland clarified that it is not his preference to see a member of the Kings leave.
12:13 PM: Xavier told Christian that the Queens are not opposed to winning but they would likely have to use a King as a pawn. Christian said he hates that since sometimes pawns go home, and they need to draw the line. Xavier said the only way to avoid the block is to win HoH since teams are feeling pressure to come after them. Christian said Kyland overthinks things and it is stupid to attempt to hide the alliance for another week. Christian told Xavier that Kyland should be the first pawn to go up from his side. Christian asked if Kyland ever mentioned that it would be better to draw a line in the sand. Xavier said Kyland is open to both options, which made Christian feel better. Christian said that Sarah Beth would have to be the pawn if someone on the Kings were to go up. If Christian wins HoH, he said that he would nominate Whitney with either Derek F or Hannah.
12:30 PM: Derek F and Tiffany agreed that it would be good if the Jokers win HoH. Derek said he is considering three people for nominations, those being Alyssa, Christian and Whitney. Tiffany said she thinks that the duo would be the best option, which Derek agreed with.
12:33 PM: Xavier met with his team. He asked them how they would justify to the Jokers that one of them is going up as a pawn next to Whitney. Alyssa argued that Hannah is not a pawn and would not believe it if she were to be told that. Sarah Beth said her gut is telling her to nominate Hannah and Whitney. She said if you believe that Derek X would use the veto on Hannah, it may be worth it to get Hannah out now to avoid having to worry about that later. Sarah Beth added that Whitney would be easier to manipulate than Hannah would be if they were to win HoH. Sarah Beth told her teammates that if they keep the Jokers off of the block, they will not use the veto. Xavier agreed. Alyssa said she is right and she agrees with nominating Hannah next to Whitney now.
12:36 PM: Tiffany spoke to the cameras. She said that it’s time to take a shot at the Kings as they are the only team of four. She said that she cannot win HoH this week but she needs Whitney around for one more week.
1:45 PM: Alyssa let Xavier know that Whitney wants to work with the two of them, Christian and Derek X. She said Whitney brought up Hannah’s name and said she would want her out even though she is on her team. Xavier said he still thinks that it would be of benefit to them to nominate Whitney next to Hannah. Alyssa agreed but said that Hannah would have to go. Alyssa pointed out that Whitney wants to work with three members of their team whereas Hannah has only said that she likes Christian and trusts her. Alyssa said Whitney is going to want to talk to them. Xavier asked if that means that they are making another alliance. Alyssa said yes but it would be a fake one.
1:53 PM: Xavier spoke to the cameras. He said that it would have been okay to have Hannah and Whitney up since the Cookout could save Hannah, but now Sarah Beth has Alyssa thinking about targeting Hannah. Xavier wondered how he could put the target on Whitney’s back. He said that Hannah is an honorary Cookout member and he does not want her to go. Xavier said the best way out of it might be for Hannah to win the veto, given that people will no longer think that she is floating.
2:09 PM: Brent talked to Tiffany about how he is being sure not to appear as though he is happy. He said that things are going to get real on Thursday when Britini leaves. Tiffany said that it will be such a blindside. Brent said it’s working perfectly right now and they are controlling the whole narrative, which Is brilliant.
2:21 PM: Derek F talked about nominations with Alyssa. He said that Hannah and Sarah Beth on the block would be a good matchup. Alyssa said she worries about Hannah. Derek said the best thing would be the Jokers winning HoH. Alyssa asked why since she thinks that Azah and Britini would come after her team. Derek said Alyssa herself has nothing to worry about but he team does have to lose somebody.
2:48 PM: Hannah told Derek X she thinks that Claire, Kyland and Tiffany are serious about working with them since they brought it up weeks ago. She wondered if they actually want to work with Whitney as well. Derek said he thinks the Queens view Whitney in a similar way that they do, in that she is okay for now but she may have to get cut. Derek worried that it would be easy to put him on the block with Hannah if Whitney is gone, since they would be the only two left on the team. The two agreed that they do not want Whitney to go but they were unsure of whether or not they should tell her that her name is being mentioned. Hannah said she would rather have Whitney win Wildcard or veto than HoH. Hannah said she doesn’t think that she is on anyone’s radar right now because she hasn’t won anything.
3:02 PM: Hannah told Whitney they are concerned about what the Kings would do if they won HoH. Whitney said they were just asking her and she said that going after the Jokers eventually would be a good idea but she doesn’t know if they should win HoH. Hannah said they feel good with the Queens and the Jokers have made it clear that they are going after the Kings, so it’s good that Whitney has been trying to steer the Kings in the direction of throwing HoH. Whitney said she thinks that they need to go for HoH if they are up against the Kings in the competition.
3:15 PM: Tiffany asked Britini what she would do as HoH. Britini said her one on ones tomorrow will help her decide. The girls talked about how Alyssa and Christian going up next to each other would be ideal. Britini said that going after Whitney is not the best move for her right now. Tiffany said that Christian will be tough to beat and if they ever get a shot to take him out, they should probably take it. While Britini considered nominating Xavier with Alyssa or Christian, Tiffany explained that it would not make sense since whoever is not on the block out of Alyssa and Christian can then save the other. The two went back and forth on who would be best to send out first between Alyssa and Christian.
4:40 PM: Christian told Alyssa that Kyland scares him and he does not trust him at all. He said his gut is telling him to get Kyland out before Derek X. Alyssa disagreed. Christian said he thinks that Kyland wants him out first of the eight. Alyssa said that Derek X would as well. Alyssa said she is nervous that the alliance would have Christian’s back over hers, and they would think that they could pull him in if she is gone. The two talked about creating multiple final four deals. One would be with Claire and Tiffany, one would be with Derek X and Kyland, and another would involve Xavier.
5:38 PM: Azah told Xavier his teammates all seem to be going for HoH since they have to. Xavier said he understands that they have reason to come after his team since they have four players remaining. Azah said she would not be coming after his team. She added that it’s important to go after a team with no members of the Cookout on it. Azah asked Xavier if his team wants to use Britini as a pawn again. Xavier said no. Azah said she had to understand that everyone is going to play their game the best way they know how to play. Xavier said they play a bunch of different styles but it’s of benefit to them. They laughed about the thought of potentially getting away with the Cookout. Xavier said Derek F said it best when he mentioned that this is the one chance to do something like this since people will look out for it in future seasons.
6:04 PM: Tiffany spoke to Christian about how here team would have to nominate someone from the Kings as a pawn if they win HoH. Christian asked who it would be. Tiffany said probably Christian or Xavier since they can win the veto. Christian asked why not use Sarah Beth since she could stay over anyone. Tiffany said she is scared of her. Christian said that he would likely leave if he stayed on the block. Tiffany said Alyssa could go up then. Christian said it’s best for the Kings to just win.
6:15 PM: Tiffany told Christian that Brent said he is moping around so it looks like he is going home. Tiffany mentioned that Brent will try to read their lips and he is watching everything that she says. She said Brent doesn’t want her around him much because she doesn’t want Xavier to think that he is good with her. Tiffany said Brent thinks that he is actually staying.
6:19 PM: Brent told Hannah that Tiffany kept looking in her direction. She said they need to make sure that Claire and Tiffany are on the same page. Hannah said she will talk to Claire and Tiffany about it to make sure that they are still good. Hannah encouraged Brent to check in with them but he did not want to come off as paranoid.
7:40 PM: Brent told Whitney that if he does go home, she will have to worry about everyone going against the Aces. Brent said he does not want to watch the three of them get picked apart. Brent said Alyssa is acting weird but he is going to have a conversation with her tomorrow. Brent said he knows how she acts when she is lying. He talked about her team having had a conversation about taking him out. He doesn’t think that Alyssa is okay with it.
7:47 PM: Azah told Tiffany that she will be holding on to the wall for dear life. Azah thinks that Alyssa might be able to win if it’s an endurance competition. Azah said everyone on the Kings will be gunning for HoH. Tiffany said they have a strong team and can’t hide. Azah brought up that everyone in the Cookout is going to play the game different and that’s what makes them work together really well.
