Big Brother 23 Day 22
July 28, 2021
9:55 AM: Tiffany told Azah and Derek F that she has a way for the six Cookout members to get to the end. She explained that each of them except for Derek will have someone that they can bring to 11, which would get them to jury. She listed off Britini for Azah, Sarah Beth for Kyland, Christian for Xavier, Derek X for Hannah, and Claire for herself. Tiffany said that leaves Alyssa and Whitney to go before jury. Azah said Christian needs to go before jury. Tiffany said it doesn’t matter. Tiffany suggested that Whitney does not need to go this week. Azah disagreed. Tiffany asked what her plan for the six is. Azah said she does not have a plan but she thinks that there are different paths to get there. Azah also mentioned that the Cookout is five as far as she is concerned. Tiffany asked if Azah agrees that three non-Cookout members have to go in a row, as that would get them a 6-5 numbers advantage. Azah agreed.
10:08 AM: Derek F asked Azah how she feels about the plan. He mentioned that he cannot tell where her head is at. Azah said it makes sense but she thought that it was already the plan in terms of getting to the end together. As for the eviction order, Azah said she doesn’t like concrete plans since things always change. Derek let Azah know that her demeanour came across as she did not care and did not agree. Azah explained that she did not know what to do once Tiffany said she doesn’t care if she is getting defensive.
10:18 AM: Tiffany filled Kyland in on her talk with Azah and Derek F. She said Azah is set on Whitney going this week. Kyland said Azah would put a King next to Whitney, not knowing that they have the numbers to send the King home. Tiffany asked for Kyland’s help in getting through to Xavier about his teammates needing to go.
10:35 AM: Kyland and Tiffany headed to the HoH room to speak to Xavier about the plan. Xavier said he thinks that Claire and Sarah Beth should be the last to go since people like Christian and Derek X will be tough to beat. Tiffany asked if Xavier wants Alyssa and Whitney out the next two weeks or if he prefers that Christian goes. Xavier argued that Christian has proven himself in physical competitions and would be tougher to beat. When Kyland said that a King cannot win HoH this week, Xavier said they are all going for it and it would be hard to talk them out of it without looking suspicious. He suggested that if his team wins, Whitney could go this week and then they could be talked into throwing it next week. Tiffany mentioned possibly nominating one or even two Kings if she were to win HoH, but Kyland hoped that she would not have to be the one to do it.
11:02 AM: Kyland and Tiffany discussed what Whitney might do as HoH. Both said that they do not trust her but Kyland believes that she would nominate two Kings. Tiffany asked what would be wrong about her winning HoH and taking Whitney out. Kyland said that’s fine but it should come second to a Joker winning and targeting a King. Kyland asked Tiffany how she feels about Xavier wanting Britini out after Whitney and Christian go. Tiffany said she is good with that since she wanted Britini to go next week.
11:34 AM: Azah told Derek F she feels as though she has to just agree with what Tiffany says. She did not like that Tiffany said her plan was the only way that it would work. Azah said she is now nervous and does not want there to be any problems. Derek told her that she needs to learn to BS people and tell them how much she loves their plans. He encouraged Azah to seek out Tiffany in order to tell her that she likes her plan, and then to give her input on it as well. Derek talked about how Azah could mess up both of their games if she doesn’t figure things out. He said that her current way of handling things will only lead to people targeting her when the time comes. Derek acknowledged that Tiffany needs to learn to be more understanding as well. Azah said she doesn’t want to create any problems and does not want to go at it with Tiffany.
12:00 PM: Whitney told Brent that Kyland and Xavier might have a final two and compared notes about Brent coming to both of their teams about an alliance, which might have led to him being on the block. Brent said that Alyssa and Kyland approached them about the alliances. Whitney said Kyland talked to every team and asked for protection but he did not throw out the word alliance until Brent said it. Whitney said that having too many alliances can be dangerous. Brent asked if his team is mad that they have too many alliances. Whitney said she wishes that he would talk to the team before making big decisions like that. Brent said he did speak to them before talking to the Queens. Whitney said he may be right.
12:26 PM: Claire told Britini that Brent thinks he has her vote for some reason. Britini asked what he is pitching and if he is bashing her. Claire said his pitch is that he is the only one that will go after the Kings, and he has not said anything about her at all. Looking ahead, Britini talked about nominating Christian and Xavier next to each other. She said that Alyssa would not beat either one of them if she is picked to compete, and then she is an option to go up if the veto is used. They discussed that Christian would be easier to rein in than Alyssa would be. The girls discussed that Whitney leaving before jury is not something that needs to happen.
12:45 PM: Azah let Xavier know that someone on his team is trying to get Kyland on the block by using someone else to do it. Xavier said he hasn’t heard that. Xavier asked who from his team said that. Azah said she has heard that Christian is saying that. Xavier said that would make sense since he gets emotional and starts spewing things. Xavier said that he would not be worried about Christian.
12:48 PM: Whitney spoke to Alyssa and Christian to ask if she thinks that Sarah Beth would stay if she put her up next to either Britini or Claire. Alyssa said she thinks that SB would stay over Britini. Christian thinks that Sarah Beth would stay over anyone.
12:53 PM: Britini and Kyland talked about how the Kings must know that if they don’t win, someone from their team will be going home. Britini let Kyland know that a member of the Kings approached her yesterday and said that it would make sense for her to nominate Kyland and Xavier. Britini assured Kyland that she will not be putting him up.
1:05 PM: Brent told Azah that her team will continued to be targeted if he leaves. He explained that it’s easy to go after a team that has already been targeted. Brent said he is willing to do the dirty work if he stays, and he would also be a target in front of her team.
1:11 PM: Brent made the same pitch to Derek F that he had made to Azah. Brent said that his team can protect the Jokers for as long as possible and he would be willing to get the blood on his hands. As for Britini, Brent said that she will continue to go on the block until she is eventually evicted, and then people will come for Azah and Derek.
1:17 PM: Brent told Alyssa that if the vote is not 7-4, his team will know that they cannot trust her. Alyssa said it would not be smart for her to let Brent leave, seeing as her team would then be the only team of four. Alyssa said that her vote will not be changing no matter what Xavier says.
1:26 PM: Brent told Kyland that he is having a one on one with him just for show. He let Kyland know that Alyssa’s vote is locked and loaded.
1:35 PM: Britini asked Christian what he would do if he wins HoH. Christian said that he fears Hannah. When Britini asked who would go up next to her, Christian said Sarah Beth would stay over anyone in the house but she is on his team. Christian suggested that he and Britini are going to get a lot closer once the team twist ends. He implied that he would even consider a final two with her down the line.
1:52 PM: Derek X told Kyland he thinks that Hannah and Whitney are down to throw HoH to the Jokers but not to the Kings. Kyland said he is concerned about Whitney throwing it to the Kings. They discussed potentially letting Whitney know right before the HoH competition that she is in danger if she does not win.
1:58 PM: Brent told Tiffany that the vote will show whether or not Alyssa is on their side. He said that anything more than a 7-4 vote will mean that they got the Jokers as well. Tiffany said it would be mind blowing if it were to be a unanimous vote.
2:02 PM: Tiffany told Britini that Brent expects her to be evicted unanimously. Tiffany said she will be mad if it’s not a unanimous vote to evict Brent. She and Britini discussed that Britini should talk to the Aces to make sure that they let her know if they are giving sympathy votes, and then Britini can make it clear that she will take that as them wanting her out.
2:09 PM: Derek X asked Xavier if his team is still going after Whitney. Xavier said that Whitney is starting to get in their good graces. Derek asked if that is actually working. Xavier said he feels like it is but he thinks that Whitney would still go on the block. He suggested that the Royal Flush need to meet up to discuss the plan.
2:16 PM: Alyssa told Xavier that Hannah is the biggest threat of those outside of their alliance. She did not think that it would be smart to take Whitney out if she is willing to work with them. Xavier argued that it doesn’t matter which of the two they go after since Hannah would not come after them if Whitney goes. Alyssa said she would rather take Hannah out.
2:24 PM: Sarah Beth let Britini know that she would throw HoH to her if she can. Britini said practically everyone has told her that she is good next week and she would prefer for Azah or Derek F to win HoH. Britini asked what Sarah Beth would do if she were to win HoH. Sarah Beth said that she would target the Aces.
2:43 PM: Derek X asked Tiffany who she would like to get to six with. Tiffany said she has been very close to Claire but she fears that she will lose Claire. Tiffany mentioned herself and Derek working with Hannah and Kyland, which Derek was on board with.
2:47 PM: Xavier told Kyland that Whitney is working hard to get in good with his team. He said Whitney is trying to put something together to give Alyssa and Christian a sense of security with her, making his team look at Hannah more. Xavier said he has been waiting for someone to say Whitney has brought up Alyssa or Christian’s names. Kyland said she just told him that a shot needs to be taken at the Kings. Xavier said that they have to push that. Kyland said he will try to get names out of her.
2:57 PM: Britini asked Derek X if he thinks that he will give Brent a vote. Derek said no. He also said he doesn’t think that his teammates will. Derek said that he is willing to throw HoH to any of the Jokers. Britini said she wants Azah or Derek F to win more than herself. Derek said he feels good about her whole team.
3:11 PM: Whitney asked Xavier if he had a chance to talk to Alyssa and Christian. He said that he did. Xavier said they can have an understanding to look out for each other but he did not want to use the word alliance. Whitney agreed. Whitney said she is on edge about Kyland because he is having one on one conversations with so many people that he may be spreading himself thin. Xavier asked if Whitney would feel pressure to nominate someone from his team if she were to win. Whitney said she would feel pressure and may nominate Sarah Beth as a pawn but she would talk to the team first.
3:37 PM: Brent let Derek X know that he may have even got the Jokers on his side. He said that the only ones being bamboozled right now are Xavier, Christian and Sarah Beth. Derek told Brent that he made it through a crappy week. Brent said that it’s not over yet.
4:00 PM: Hannah told Britini that Brent expects it to be a 9-2 vote. She said he is going home regardless of what he thinks. Hannah talked about not liking Brent on a personal level. She said he looks down on women and does not respect her or Whitney on the same level that he does Derek X. Hannah brought up that it is crucial the Kings do not win HoH this week. She said that she would gun for HoH over them but would throw it to the Jokers. Britini asked which of the Kings are the biggest threat to Hannah. Hannah said Alyssa’s name first before listing off reasons why each of them are threatening. Hannah explained that she views Alyssa as the glue holding the team together, and said that she is the perfect pawn in a sense of she would not go home over anyone. Both agreed that Sarah Beth does not need to be the one to go.
4:51 PM: Britini told Whitney the consensus seems to be that people will fight for HoH until the Kings are out. Whitney said she plans to do that and then she will throw it to the Jokers. Whitney talked about how she would nominate two Kings if she were to win. Britini asked which of them is the most threatening to Whitney. Whitney said that Christian is a comp beast, Sarah Beth is strong minded and would be tough to work with, Xavier is very likeable and tough to beat, and Alyssa is the glue.
5:03 PM: Britni told Azah that the more she talks to people, she realizes that Alyssa needs to go. Britini said Whitney is not the move to make next week. Azah said they may have different targets since Britini and Whitney are good with each other. Azah suggested that Whitney is someone who turns on people in an instant. She pointed to what Whitney did with Frenchie as an example of that. Azah later said that any combination of Alyssa, Christian and Whitney on the block would be a good move.
5:25 PM: Alyssa told Britini that her leaving would not be of benefit to her. She said that she would not put Britini up initially or as a replacement nominee.
5:51 PM: Britini thanked Xavier for being honest this week. She said from what she is hearing, it should be a unanimous vote. Britini said the Aces have even told her that they will not be giving Brent a sympathy vote. Britini said people have been telling her that her easy move is to nominate Kyland and Xavier but she does not think that it is the move for her.
6:01 PM: Tiffany told Hannah about her plan for the six to get to the end together. Tiffany asked that Hannah stay close to Derek X. Tiffany said everyone but Derek F would have someone to pair up with in order to get to jury. Out of the Cookout, Tiffany said the pairs would be Hannah and Xavier, Azah and Derek F, and Kyland and herself. She suggested that the four would then be Hannah, Kyland, Xavier and herself. Tiffany said that it would be horrible if the Kings win. Hannah asked if she would be nominated next to Whitney. Tiffany said yes. Tiffany encouraged Hannah to win it if she has to, as they will support her in taking the shot. Tiffany explained that Xavier knows they are coming for his team. They discussed Alyssa and Christian going on the block with Alyssa going home. Tiffany told Hannah to encourage Whitney to go for HoH.
6:49 PM: Azah slipped up and told Hannah that she would not feel safe if someone from outside of the Cookout wins HoH. Hannah asked if that is their name. Azah said she came up with it but she hasn’t told anyone about it yet. Hannah said she likes the name. Azah reiterated that she hasn’t told anyone about it yet. Hannah said she wont say anything.
6:53 PM: Azah let Derek F know that she accidentally told Hannah about the name “Cookout”. Azah apologized and said she is going to try to see what she can do. Azah said she played it off as though that’s what she calls it but she has not told the name to anyone else yet.
6:56 PM: Azah let Kyland and Tiffany know that the name Cookout slipped out while she was talking to Hannah. Kyland and Tiffany said it’s not a big deal.
7:13 PM: Hannah told Whitney she thinks that she is going to gun for HoH because she believes that she could be a pawn. Whitney asked what makes her think that. Hannah said it’s anybody’s game now and they are starting at square one, so she should not feel more comfortable than anyone else. Whitney said she might have to go for it too then. Whitney asked who she is thinking of putting up. Hannah said she is not true but someone from the Kings needs to go. Whitney agreed.
7:26 PM: Tiffany met with Xavier to once again go over her plan for the Cookout. She said that she was not as elaborate with Azah and Derek as she was with Kyland and Xavier. They agreed that best case scenario would be the Jokers winning HoH tomorrow. Tiffany said she thinks it would be better to keep Christian over Alyssa but Xavier disagreed and said he is basing it off of Christian being a tough competitor. Tiffany brought up that the best way for the Cookout to stay off of the block together would be to go up with their person. For example, she said that she would have to go up next to Claire when it’s Claire’s time to go, and Xavier would have to go up with Alyssa when it’s Alyssa’s time to go. Tiffany said she would like to have the two of them, Azah and Kyland in the final four together.
