Big Brother 23 Day 3 - Frenchie nominates Alyssa and Kyland
July 9, 2021
9:20 AM: Whitney told Britini that due to some drama, she thinks that her teammate is going to be going home this week. She explained that everyone is super mad at Derek X. Whitney suggested that her team and Britini’s team should work together. Britini agreed.
9:46 AM: Frenchie spoke to Derek X and told him that he wants from this point forward to get the same respect that he is about to show him if Derek gets HoH. Derek said that he has got Frenchie’s back.
9:51 AM: Frenchie told Brent that he plans to do something that will piss one side of the house off but it needs to be done. He said that if they cannot get Christian, he will get the person that is closest to him which implied that Alyssa would be targeted.
9:54 AM: Frenchie let Derek F and Kyland know that things have changed but he wants to know that he has the support of The Butchers as he is making a move that will benefit them in the long run.
9:58 AM: Derek F told Xavier about his brief interaction with Frenchie. He did not like how it sounded. They discussed that Frenchie is becoming a liability. Azah joined them and they talked about potentially bringing Brent in if Frenchie continues to unravel. Azah pointed out that Frenchie has changed his target three times and appears to be playing his game for Twitter.
10:50 AM: Kyland mentioned to Alyssa, Christian and Claire that the Kings and Queens teams could look out for each other and they would all be good if any of the eight of them were to win HoH.
10:55 AM: Alyssa told Claire that she doesn’t want to bother Frenchie after all of the game talk yesterday but she wants to let him know that he is good with her if he keeps her safe. Claire said that’s a good idea and she doesn’t think that he would put her up.
11:05 AM: Christian and Derek F discussed the potential nominations. They were unsure of whether or not Derek X is still the target. Christian hoped that Derek and Travis would be nominated.
11:13 AM: Frenchie came out of the diary room and was emotional and tearing up. He let Brent and Xavier know that he appreciates them for being real. He went on about how people are fake in this house and he has overheard those who said that they have got his back talking about him. Frenchie said that he is done people pleasing and he does not care if his move pisses people off because he is going to do what is best for him.
11:25 AM: Brent, Frenchie, Travis and Xavier spent roughly an hour in the have-not room together. Travis looked to clear the air after last night. Frenchie pointed out that Brent was his original target due to a miscommunication, so he is willing to talk things out and move forward together. The guys talked about being open and transparent with each other. Frenchie made it clear that he had a plan to target someone but he cannot due to that person being safe. He said that he did not want to play this hard but someone was out there trying to build a team and he had to play hard in order to keep up with that person. Travis threw Tiffany’s name out there as a potential third option for this week but Frenchie quickly shot that down, saying he loves Tiffany and he will not touch her.
11:56 AM: Derek F and Kyland talked about the four guys having been up in the have-not room for a long time. They hoped that they would be okay since Xavier is in there. Derek worried that Travis would get in Frenchie’s ear and then one of them ends up in trouble due to it.
12:19 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
2:01 PM: Feeds returned. Frenchie nominated Alyssa and Kyland for eviction.
2:01 PM: Frenchie sat down with Kyland to explain that he put him on the block in order to have an ally fighting with him for the veto. Frenchie suggested that there may be a big power up for grabs in the competition, so he wanted someone he can trust to have it. He added that there is no way Alyssa is winning against them. Frenchie promised that he will use the veto on Kyland if he wins it. Kyland asked what will happen if Alyssa wins the veto. Frenchie said that his big fish would then go up. While Kyland assumed that he meant Derek X, Frenchie later implied that it would be Travis. Frenchie brought up that Christian and Travis are tight and their plan is to come after him next week.
2:23 PM: Alyssa spoke to Frenchie in hope of understanding why she was put on the block. Frenchie pointed to her being super close with Christian as a main reason for it. He also said she told him that she was not aware of any alliances forming even though she is in one, which she denied. Alyssa insisted that she had Frenchie’s back and that the only game she has talked was with him and her team. Frenchie explained that he heard from four people that Christian is coming after him, and she is associated with Christian.
2:33 PM: Alyssa and Christian spoke to Frenchie. They told Frenchie that he was fed lies about them and that they are not coming after him. Christian also denied being close with Travis. Frenchie talked about Alyssa and Christian being very tight and talked about as a potential showmance. Both denied it and said they talk and hang out because they are on a team and are have-nots together. After further talks, Frenchie eventually said he feels as though he had been played when it came to making this move.
2:43 PM: Sarah let Kyland know that she would have his back over Alyssa even though Alyssa is her teammate. Sarah said that Kyland is her ride or die at this point and there is no one that she would want to keep there more than him.
3:05 PM: Frenchie pulled Britini and Derek F in to his talk with Alyssa and Christian. He got Britini to verify that people are telling him that Christian is coming after him. Derek F backed them up by saying that they are not after Frenchie. As for the talk about Christian allegedly running around and making alliances, Christian admitted to talking to a lot of people but said that it is personal in nature, not game related.
3:16 PM: Frenchie brought Brent in to back him up by saying they have been told that Christian is coming after him. Brent and Christian then talked things over in attempt to clear the air since it became apparent that they may think the other is targeting them. The group discussed that Derek X is the one creating the lies that caused all of this. Frenchie said he feels bad and would like to fix things.
3:36 PM: Frenchie told Alyssa and Kyland that the lies are pointing to the same person. He said that one of them needs to win the veto and then they can send Derek X home.
4:02 PM: Derek X told Brent that he was playing with heart and not thinking game, which is why he ended up throwing away his game by being loyal to Travis due to their friendship. Brent advised Derek to attempt to move forward and repair things with everyone since he is not on the block but may still end up there depending on how things go with the veto.
4:09 PM: Frenchie let Brent and Whitney know that he would like for the veto to be used. He asked if they would be on board, which both said that they would be. A plan was made to pick Brent in the event that Frenchie draws the houseguest’s choice chip.
4:48 PM: Christian suggested to Frenchie that they could bring Alyssa in to the Slaughterhouse alliance since he put her on the block. He said he’s not sure how many they want to add into the five Butchers. Frenchie asked who they are again. Christian said the two of them, Kyland, Derek F and Xavier. Frenchie said he would add absolutely no more than three. Kyland asked if the Butchers are still good, to which Frenchie replied yes. They discussed that Brent is a beast and he has been honest and upfront up to this point in the game.
5:20 PM: Azah asked Kyland who he is thinking of picking if he gets houseguest’s choice. Kyland said that he is considering picking Xavier but he might choose Brent.
7:32 PM: Kyland told Alyssa he thinks that Derek X may be a little concerned since Brent and Whitney talked to him and said that he deserves to go home. Alyssa wondered if she should be acting more sad. Kyland said it might make sense if Alyssa picks Xavier and he picks Brent for the veto competition. Alyssa suggested that they have a conversation with Xavier.
7:55 PM: Derek X told Frenchie he knows the mistake that he made and he is willing to talk about it if Frenchie would like. Frenchie said they definitely can later when they get some time in the HoH room. Derek explained that he puts his loyalty into the wrong person. He said he deserves to go at this point but he would like to do so with honour if that happens, so he wants to clear things up with Frenchie.
8:05 PM: Kyland told Derek F that he would like to get a quick meeting in with The Butchers if possible. Derek said that they could try to make it happen tonight. They then wondered who they should add to the alliance to create The Slaughterhouse. Brent’s name was mentioned but Derek had some concerns that Brent and Christian would clash. He ultimately suggested staying out of it and letting Frenchie make the decision.
9:17 PM: Xavier told Alyssa that he didn’t like Frenchie’s speech. They discussed that Alyssa is being punished because of Christian. Frenchie joined them and Alyssa said that she is planning to pick Xavier if she gets houseguest’s choice. Xavier said that he is willing to use the veto but wants to talk to Frenchie about it. Frenchie made it clear that he wants the veto to be used.
9:28 PM: Derek F told Azah that he loves Kyland but thinks that the top four should be the two of them, Tiffany and Xavier. He said that Kyland can be five.
9:46 PM: Derek X asked Brent if the team is still together. Brent reassured him that they are. While Derek worried that there is a backdoor plan in place, Brent said it seems like the plan is to get rid of Alyssa due to her connection to Christian. Derek considered trying to get Frenchie on board with putting Travis up if a replacement nominee is needed, but Brent advised him to hold off on that since he may spook Frenchie.
10:17 PM: Xavier let Kyland know that he is on board with the plan for the veto. He said he doesn’t want Alyssa on the block since she is on his team, but he feels as though it is best for Kyland to win since Alyssa is less likely to have the votes flipped on her if she stays on the block. Xavier added that the cookout alliance trumps everything else. Kyland agreed and said that it is bigger than them.
11:57 PM: The Butchers met up in the HoH room. Frenchie said he thinks that they should add Alyssa, Brent and Whitney to create the Slaughterhouse alliance. Christian and Kyland left the room and Kyland suggested that the rest of the group meet with the new members first as not to make it seem like the five was already set beforehand, and then they can all solidify it tomorrow.
12:01 AM: Christian told Kyland that he doesn’t know about him picking Travis to play for houseguest’s choice. Derek F explained that Derek X or Travis have to end up on the block, and Travis may not use it.
12:04 AM: Frenchie brought Alyssa, Brent and Whitney in to the HoH room. He told them that there comes a point in this game where a line needs to be drawn in the sand since the team twist is going to end eventually. Frenchie named the entire group and said he is talking about having a fully solidified alliance. Frenchie let them know that he had the idea of having a slaughterhouse prior to coming into the house, as they can take people to the chopping block each week.
