Big Brother 23 Day 33
August 8, 2021
10:28 AM: Britini asked Azah and Derek F who they think would make a good replacement nominee. Derek said any of the Kings. Britini said it’s funny how Alyssa didn’t start saying that Derek made a deal with her on the wall until after she won the veto. Azah said Derek did tell her the night he won that he made a deal with Alyssa and Xavier. Azah and Britini then vented about how Alyssa acted following the veto competition. Azah said she is a baby and was complaining that the competition was not fair to her. Azah said Britini won fair and square and Alyssa needs to grow up.
10:44 AM: Azah told Derek F that Alyssa is a big old baby. Derek said she’s a big old baby that he is ready to send home. Azah said she wants to send Christian out first. She explained that as long as Christian can win competitions, Alyssa can scheme. If Christian goes, she said that Alyssa will be alone. Derek agreed. Derek thinks that he or Azah will go up since Derek X wont want to put Christian up and he already promised safety to Alyssa and Xavier. Azah said that gives them reason to go after Derek X if he puts them up.
1:48 PM: Kyland tried to feel Xavier out on his thoughts if Christian were to go up. Xavier said he does not see how that would benefit Derek X. Kyland talked about there not being many chances to take the shot and this week it would hit. Xavier said that if it doesn’t hit, Christian is coming after Derek. Kyland said at least it’s not the Cookout, and at worst it would be him up next to Derek which they knew would have to happen at some point. Kyland said that’s why he has worked on tightening up his duos with Derek and Sarah Beth. Xavier said that he will not be able to protect Derek if the shot misses. Kyland said that nobody will be able to. Xavier said that Alyssa and Sarah Beth would be expecting him to go after Derek if Christian leaves. Kyland told Xavier that Derek doesn’t know about the six, so from his perspective he would think that anyone going up against a King in the final two would automatically have three votes against them if all four Kings make it to jury. Xavier said the Royal Flush would be done if another King goes up, and then they might be in a position where they have to expose the six in the weeks ahead.
2:39 PM: Kyland told Britini he thinks everyone knows that if four Kings make it to jury their chances of winning drop since they can only win against one of the other seven people. Kyland said that it’s even in his own best interest for Sarah Beth to go if she is sitting next to anyone but a King.
3:39 PM: Xavier told Kyland that he is losing a teammate either way so he thinks that they should talk to the six and do what is best for them. Xavier said that if they prefer Sarah Beth to go, they need to know that one of them is probably going up. Kyland said it just so happens that his preference is what would prevent a member of the six from going up. He expects that nobody will want to go on the block.
3:48 PM: Britini told Derek X that Christian is a comp beast but Sarah Beth has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way so she does not know which way the vote would go. Derek asked if he would have her vote to evict Christian. Britini said he would if that’s what he wants to do. Derek said that they can beat Alyssa and Sarah Beth in competitions and if everyone is going after Sarah Beth, it doesn’t make sense for them to take that shot this week. He added that the stars aligned perfectly this week for the shot to be taken at Christian. Britini said if Derek feels that it is the best move for their games moving forward, they have got to do it. Derek let Britini know that Alyssa and Christian said they would have nominated two Jokers. He also said that the Kings calmed down after nominations when he told them that Britini was the target, and Christian was on board with it. Britini said it’s crazy how people can be two faced in the house. She said that she is down to evict him. Derek said they need to make sure that he leaves if he goes up.
3:59 PM: Kyland told Azah that if the six wants Sarah Beth to go rather than Christian, one of them will have to go on the block. Azah said she does not want one of them to go on the block. Kyland agreed. Azah said she doesn’t think that Sarah Beth is coming for her any time soon. Kyland said the only person in the six that she was after was Hannah but that got cleared up. Azah mentioned thinking that Hannah and Tiffany want Sarah Beth to go. Kyland said that would be interesting since Tiffany has been saying the opposite to him. Azah said she would rather Christian go if they have the opportunity to take that shot.
4:10 PM: Britini and Derek X agreed that they can get the votes to evict Christian. Derek said it’s a huge move to break up the biggest duo the week before jury. Derek said that Britini clinched it by winning the veto. Britini said they need to break them up. She brought up that Christian was only cheering for Alyssa during the veto competition, which made her want to go even harder. Britini felt as though everyone else was cheering for both people.
4:26 PM: Kyland told Tiffany that he wants to prioritize the six. He said he feels as though is personal preference for this week aligns with what is best for the six. He pointed out that he cannot beat nor influence Christian. Tiffany said she has a good relationship with Christian and he is not coming after her but if he goes up and the six wants him out, she is on board with the plan. Kyland said he feels the same way. Kyland said Xavier was open to whatever and is down for what the six want but he seemed to be under the impression that they would want Christian to stay. Tiffany talked about how in some scenarios it would be of benefit to the six not to vote together as they need to focus on their own jury management and also hiding the alliance. She said the only time it would matter is if the vote in question would change who is getting evicted. The two agreed that it’s tough because they feel that they cannot play the game that they want to due to the bigger goal of the Cookout. Both said that they don’t ever want Derek X to go and that they would rather be on the block next to him than have to cast a vote against him. However they said that it may be better for him to go sooner than later because of how they feel. Kyland suggested that Derek is the most likely to figure out the Cookout. Tiffany thought that it would be Sarah Beth, Claire, Derek X, Britini and Alyssa in that order.
4:56 PM: Derek X let Hannah know that Britini is down to evict Christian. Derek said he thinks that they would definitely have the votes if Hannah is still on board. Hannah said she, Claire and Tiffany agreed that they will do whatever he wants. Hannah said that the Kings will be fractured and she thinks that she, Kyland and Tiffany can keep Xavier from coming after Derek. Hannah suggested that it might be worth telling Alyssa that Christian is going up five minutes before the veto ceremony. She said he could play it off as though this was not his plan all along but now that Britini won the veto he has to take the shot. Hannah said she thinks it would be more beneficial for her to target Sarah Beth over Alyssa next week. Derek said that’s fair. He did say that Sarah Beth talked about working with the two of them and Kyland.
5:28 PM: Xavier talked to Kyland and Tiffany in attempt to figure out who they want to target from his team this week. Tiffany explained her plan in which the Cookout members, aside from Derek F, each have a person. She said it wouldn’t be fair for Xavier to keep Alyssa and Christian in order to have Kyland lose his person in Sarah Beth. Tiffany said that Sarah Beth should be the first member of jury if Christian goes this week. After that, Xavier would like to see Derek X go. Tiffany had mentioned either Claire or Derek X going next at that point. Xavier worried that if he votes to keep Christian, anyone outside of the six will have reason to put him up next week. He specifically named Britini. Tiffany said that Azah will ensure that Britini does not nominate two Cookout members.
5:41 PM: Tiffany asked Kyland how he knows Sarah Beth. Kyland promised that he does not know her outside of the house. He explained that he did not want to get into a showmance so he quickly latched on to somebody in a relationship that he figured would still be cool with cuddling since he is a physical person. He again promised that he doesn’t know Sarah Beth or anyone. Tiffany said she believes him.
5:47 PM: Britini told Derek X she understands that Alyssa and Sarah Beth are digging their own graves and they will only have one shot at Christian so they need to take it. She said she is 100% confident that the move needs to be made and is going to work. Derek expects it to be a vote of 7-2.
5:51 PM: Derek X let Azah know that he is feeling pressure from the Kings to nominate a Joker but it is not best for his game. Derek hinted at Christian going up and asked if that person would go. Azah said he would and she will vote to evict him. She said that Britini and Derek F will vote to evict Christian as well.
6:04 PM: Tiffany told Claire she realized that they can beat Sarah Beth if they need to. Claire mentioned that Christian can go this week and then they can take the shot at Sarah Beth next week. Tiffany suggested that Hannah taking the shot would be best.
6:12 PM: Xavier talked to Sarah Beth about how people better back off from targeting the Kings if one of them goes home this week. He said he would not understand why they would keep targeting them if Christian were to be backdoored this week.
6:29 PM: Sarah Beth asked Alyssa and Christian if they have talked to Derek X. Alyssa said she briefly did and was told that Derek F is going up. Sarah Beth said it’s weird but she is planning her campaign against him in her head already even though he is not yet on the block.
7:13 PM: Derek X told Azah that this was his plan from the beginning. Azah said that she is completely behind his plan. She said that it makes sense since the Kings took shots at the Aces for two weeks and now Derek is going to take out their leader. Azah said Christian is a monster and she is completely on board with him going. Azah reassured Derek that he has the votes of all three Jokers. Derek said he expects it to be either 7-2 or 6-3. Azah said the Jokers will be grateful that he did not put them up. She added that she will be going after another King if she wins HoH. Azah said that even if Derek changes his mind and wants Sarah Beth out, she will do that for him. Derek said he would need her to tell him that he is being stupid if he comes to her saying that.
7:52 PM: Derek F asked Xavier what he thinks is going to happen tomorrow. Xavier said that either a Joker or a King will go up. Derek said he is trying avoid the block. Xavier said the question is whether or not Derek X wants to take out his shield. Derek said that Christian is not really Derek’s shield. Derek questioned if Xavier wants to be a pawn, saying that he doesn’t want to be one himself. Xavier said Christian can be taken out but then Derek X becomes the biggest target, which is no skin off of his back. Derek said Derek X would have a couple more weeks since they can get some girls out. Xavier said that Derek X would be the biggest target for the girls and he would not stay over any of the girls. Derek said that taking Christian out would weaken Alyssa. Xavier said he is on board for any plan that keeps a member of the Cookout off of the block. Xavier asked Derek which girls he would put up. Derek said that he would like to target Alyssa or Sarah Beth. Xavier said he would prefer that it be Sarah Beth. Derek asked why he cant just send Alyssa out with her boyfriend. Xavier told him that Alyssa would be going to jury and he has to think about her vote. In the event of a double, Xavier said that Derek X will need to go as that would be the best time to take the shot. Derek disagreed. He also argued that keeping Alyssa around will lead to her being suspicious and looking for revenge for Christian. He said that she will be expecting Christian to get a certain number of votes and will come after those who didn’t keep him like she thought they would.
8:22 PM: Hannah told Tiffany she thinks that Derek X should give Alyssa a heads up prior to the veto ceremony. Tiffany said that Alyssa would tell Christian, which Hannah thinks is fine. Hannah said that it wont change anything but Alyssa may feel more disrespected if she doesn’t get told ahead of time. Tiffany filled Hannah in on her talk with Kyland in which he denied knowing Sarah Beth prior to the show. Tiffany also said that Sarah Beth slipped up yesterday and said that she is single.
9:20 PM: After a talk with Alyssa and Christian, Tiffany spoke to the cameras. Tiffany mentioned that Alyssa and Christian have an elaborate plan about who to eliminate from the game but Christian will be gone on Thursday. She said that Alyssa wants to nominate Derek X and Kyland, and she cannot have Derek X go this early, so Alyssa may have to go before Sarah Beth at this point. Tiffany also noted that just like Hannah wants to give Alyssa a heads up prior to the ceremony, Alyssa wants to give Hannah a heads up prior to the eviction that Sarah Beth is being voted out.
9:36 PM: Tiffany told Claire that Alyssa’s idea was to give Hannah a heads up before the eviction. She said Christian wants Derek X gone during the double or within three weeks. The two discussed how to react when Christian goes on the block. They wondered if they should play along like Christian may have their votes. Claire thought that it would be best to say they would vote for him if he has the numbers but ask that they do not include them when talking to others. Tiffany said that for Derek’s sake, she’s hoping that nobody thinks it’s better to keep Christian. Tiffany informed Claire that Alyssa plans to go after Derek X and therefore she might have to go home before Sarah Beth.
9:55 PM: Tiffany suggested that Derek X should talk to Xavier tonight about the plan, because he already knows and will think Derek is shady if he doesn’t tell him. Derek said he was considering working a two week deal with Xavier. As for Alyssa, Derek said he would tell her 15 minutes before the veto ceremony. He talked about wanting to see if Alyssa would cut ties with Christian and keep it a secret from him, hoping to salvage a relationship with Derek.
11:56 PM: Azah told Britini that Derek X wants Christian to go but he isn’t sure that he has the votes. Azah said that they would do whatever he wants. Azah added that Christian will go up and go home unless someone gets in Derek’s head by tomorrow. Azah told Britini that the Kings are pushing Derek to put a Joker up. Britini said she knows that they are. Azah suggested getting Alyssa out pronto next week. Britini agreed but said that she would backdoor her.
12:35 AM: Tiffany and Claire told Xavier he should talk to Derek X about who he is going to put on the block. Tiffany said she thinks everyone in the Royal Flush will not like the idea but they cannot look at it and not understand since Christian is a strong competitor and has to go. Tiffany suggested that Xavier see if he can work something out with Derek if that is indeed his plan. Xavier said he doesn’t even know if he wants to know because Alyssa and Christian might ask him. Tiffany said he would have to say no. Xavier said he doesn’t want to be in a position to have to lie to them. Tiffany said she thinks that this move weighs heavily on Derek because he does want to work with Xavier.
12:42 AM: Derek X told Xavier that they could put up Derek F and everyone in the Flush is okay with it and he thinks that he would go home but there are other options. Derek said he would not put Alyssa or Xavier up because he made the deal. Xavier said it’s pretty much Big D or Christian then. Xavier asked him to talk through the pros and cons with him. Derek X said he doesn’t view Derek as a threat and it would be a waste of a week. As for Christian, Derek said he is a comp beast and he has to take a shot at him at some point. He added that it would have to be a backdoor whenever someone were to take that shot. Derek explained that by the next time he can win HoH, Christian will have a 50% shot at being picked to play for veto. Xavier asked who would become the biggest target in the house if Christian goes. Derek said it becomes him. Xavier asked how that benefits him. Derek said Christian is a shield but asked who he shields him from when the house is telling him that they want Christian on the block. Derek said that he would lose the Jokers. Xavier said Alyssa would feel some type of way about it. Xavier said he is not sure about doing it right now. Derek said he doesn’t know if we would get this chance again, and Christian is very nervous about it already. Xavier told Derek to do what is best for his game. He said that he will focus on the damage control if Derek has to go the riskier route.
1:42 AM: Tiffany told Hannah that Alyssa said she wants to tell Hannah 30 minutes before the eviction that they are voting Sarah Beth out over Derek F. Claire, Hannah and Tiffany laughed about it. Tiffany said that Alyssa and Christian talked about nominating Derek X if it’s a double eviction on Thursday, but she doesn’t know how Christian is going to do that from home.
3:00 AM: Hannah told Derek X that the only person that will be pressed is Alyssa, but she definitely thinks that Derek should tell them even if it’s 15 minutes before. Hannah said Alyssa and Christian told Xavier that next week is critical and they have to take the shot at Derek. Hannah said he obviously has to take the shot. If Sarah Beth wins, Hannah said the worst case is she goes up next to Britini and they can target Britini. Derek said he doesn’t think that Sarah Beth would put Hannah up since she wants to work with her. Hannah said that Christian going is best for Derek, Claire, Tiffany and herself.
3:14 AM: Tiffany said to the cameras that she personally doesn’t want to vote to evict Christian. She is hoping that everyone can vote to evict Christian and she can vote to evict Sarah Beth without Sarah Beth being upset. Tiffany said she would not be able to tell Claire or Hannah because they would want to vote for him too and that many people cannot vote for him or else he will not leave. Tiffany said it’s not a sympathy vote but a love vote because she cares about him. Tiffany said that she will have to think about it. Tiffany explained that they are one vote away from her Cookout plan being in place and then from there they can make history. She said that she still wants Hannah in the final two with her.
