Big Brother 23 Day 52 - Tiffany nominates Kyland and SB; Xavier is the third nominee
August 27, 2021
9:05 AM: Tiffany spoke to Alyssa about cutting a deal to keep her safe next week. She said the numbers are getting too low for her to ask for safety for Claire or anyone else in addition to herself. Tiffany let Alyssa know that she is not her target and she is not going to ask her to be a pawn. She added that she is fine with Alyssa using the veto on Xavier if she happens to win it, because Sarah Beth is her target. Tiffany said she is expecting people to nominate her next to Claire next week, so she would like it if she could have Alyssa’s vote to stay if that happens. Alyssa said she can 100% make that deal for next week.
9:20 AM: Tiffany spoke to the cameras and said Sarah Beth knows exactly what to say in this game, and just like Sarah Beth did everything in her power to send Britini to jury, she will do everything in her power to send Sarah Beth to jury.
9:27 AM: Claire spoke to the cameras. She said she is optimistic that Azah or herself can win Coin of Destiny. She said she does not believe that Sarah Beth is the best person to leave this week but she will do it for her girl Tiffany. She admitted that she likes seeing Kyland and Sarah Beth squirm. Claire said she feels good about her position in the house since people will target Tiffany before her. While she said she would like to get to the end with Tiffany, she figures that she cannot beat her.
9:54 AM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
11:02 AM: Feeds returned. Tiffany nominated Kyland and Sarah Beth for eviction. Xavier is the third nominee.
11:05 AM: Tiffany spoke to the cameras. She said she hopes that everything goes according to plan this week since she has one goal and one job, which has started and she now needs to finish.
11:09 AM: Tiffany explained to Sarah Beth that she views her and Kyland as a strong duo and she felt more comfortable with Alyssa and Xavier than she did with Kyland and Sarah Beth. She said she knows that Sarah Beth would save Kyland and would vote for him if she were not nominated next to him, so she had go up as the closest person to him. Sarah Beth said if Kyland is the target, it only makes sense for her to go up, but she had hope that he would not be her target this week. Sarah Beth said she will need to look at who she can work with if Kyland leaves, and she believes that it would be Claire and Tiffany even if Tiffany takes Kyland out.
11:21 AM: Tiffany spoke to the cameras and said that she just lied straight to Sarah Beth’s face. She said there are no rules in Big Brother but she doesn’t think that she has told a bolder lie in the house up until this point. She said if Sarah Beth has to believe that she is not the target, then she has to believe that.
11:29 AM: Feeds went down.
12:24 PM: Feeds returned. The houseguests got a nomination couch due to there being three nominees this week.
12:31 PM: Tiffany let Xavier know that Sarah Beth threw him and Alyssa under the bus and said that she is not loyal to them. She said Sarah Beth wanted her to take a shot at Alyssa this week and would have came after Alyssa and Xavier last week if not for the powers being in play. Tiffany said Sarah Beth believes that Kyland is the target. Xavier asked what would happen if he takes himself down. Tiffany said she told Kyland last night that he cannot win the veto. Tiffany said her best case scenario is that she wins the veto and keeps nominations the same in order to force Alyssa to vote against Sarah Beth to save Xavier. She said the second best case scenario would be Xavier winning. If a replacement nominee is needed, Tiffany worried that people would question why Derek is not going home when it’s his third time on the block. Xavier said that’s a good point. Tiffany said she doesn’t want to have to nominate Alyssa but she would like Xavier’s help in making that move if it comes down to it.
12:56 PM: Azah asked Tiffany if they should nominate Alyssa and Claire together next week and out the Cookout. Tiffany said no since one of them will still be in the house and they need to make sure that that person goes after one of the guys in the Cookout should they win HoH. They discussed the guys thinking that they are carrying the girls. Tiffany suggested that they are even smarter than the guys are since they have to put the pieces back together after someone like Kyland breaks them.
1:20 PM: Feeds went down for the High Roller’s Room.
7:14 PM: Feeds returned. Claire won Coin of Destiny and Tiffany is no longer the HoH. Claire left Kyland and Sarah Beth on the block. Xavier remains the third nominee.
7:14 PM: As feeds returned, Tiffany was telling Claire that she is willing to claim that she won Coin of Destiny. Claire said she is trying to think if that makes sense for her. Hannah agreed that Tiffany should insinuate that she played and dethroned herself so that Claire can stay under the radar, and then the two of them can still collaborate this week. Tiffany said she will tell Derek that it was her and then it will spread across the house.
7:19 PM: Sarah Beth cried as she pointed out to Kyland that someone had the opportunity to nominate people secretly and they chose to nominate them. Sarah Beth asked what the odds are that Derek won and keep them on the block. Kyland said low. Sarah Beth said she thinks that Xavier is going to win the game.
7:39 PM: Xavier told Derek that Tiffany winning HoH was the best way to keep Claire in check. He suggested that they could have been in trouble had someone else won HoH and Claire won Coin of Destiny. Derek said he would have beat her in Coin of Destiny if that was the case. Derek said there was no point in putting himself at risk once he got confirmation that Claire had enough to play.
7:46 PM: Tiffany told Kyland that the plan is to tell the rest of the house that she won Coin of Destiny.
7:54 PM: Tiffany let Derek and Xavier know that she told Kyland that she won Coin of Destiny but she didn’t. Xavier assumed that Claire won, which Tiffany confirmed. Tiffany mentioned that she gets to play for HoH next week, which is all that she cares about since she got a letter and pictures from home. Tiffany admitted that it may not be best for her to win next week though. Derek and Xavier agreed that she should throw it. Tiffany said she will go for it if Alyssa or Claire are left, otherwise she will drop out.
7:58 PM: Xavier asked Hannah why Kyland is tripping. Hannah said Kyland told her he didn’t appreciate that there was a plan to get Claire to be the only one to play this week and he wasn’t filled in on it. Hannah clarified that she did tell Kyland but he was mad that he found out 30 minutes after the others. Xavier assumed that Kyland is going to end up gunning for the veto since he is not a team player.
8:16 PM: Kyland told Tiffany that Sarah Beth asked him if he thinks that Derek won, and he said he thought it was Claire, because he had not yet talked to Tiffany about the plan. Tiffany said to tell her he thinks that she won it.
8:41 PM: Tiffany spoke to the cameras and said that she can still play in the competition next week and the best part about this is that the secret HoH kept her nominations the same. Tiffany said Sarah Beth has got to go. Tiffany thanked America for giving her $100 in BB Bucks. She said that even though she could not play, Sarah Beth couldn’t either.
10:16 PM: Sarah Beth pointed out to Azah that a number of different people could have won Coin of Destiny. She listed off Azah, Claire, Derek, Hannah and Tiffany as possible winners. Sarah Beth said that even if the winner wanted to target someone else, maybe they want to wait until after the veto. Sarah Beth asked Azah if she put her up. Azah said no and told her that she would have been more upfront about it had it been her. Azah asked if Sarah Beth got $50. She said yes. Azah told her that she did too.
10:25 PM: Azah spoke aloud while alone in the bedroom. She said that she has spent a lot of today questioning things about herself since she is insecure due to the BB Bucks. Azah said she walked into the house confident and had a strategy mapped out but then she has not been able to win anything and she feels as though she is viewed as weak in her alliances. Azah asked God to give her wisdom, understanding and will as she wants to win this game and is tired of being at the bottom. Azah pointed out that the powers are done after this week so she needs to get the insecurities out of her head and push forward since she wants to win the game.
10:47 PM: Alyssa told Xavier that it’s so awkward when she is in a room with Sarah Beth, as Sarah Beth doesn’t want to talk to her. She said she does not know what she did to that girl.
10:51 PM: Derek told Sarah Beth he is disappointed that he has been with her since the beginning and could possibly lose her or Kyland after already having lost Britini. Sarah Beth asked about Derek telling Kyland that Alyssa wants her out. Derek said he doesn’t remember saying that. He kept telling her to give him a second to think through his conversations. Kyland then joined them and confirmed that Derek had said it. Derek said it must have happened then, but Kyland said it was in passing and perhaps it was a misunderstanding on his part. Sarah Beth said that makes her feel better since she was like “dang, Alyssa is coming after me?”.
11:02 PM: Sarah Beth asked Derek if he wants to play in the veto tomorrow. He said he feels like he can help but he doesn’t knowhow much since the veto competitions never go in his favour. Derek pointed out that Kyland and Sarah Beth would have a better chance with him playing since they can beat him. Sarah Beth said she would want to pick someone that would take her or Kyland down. Derek said he would 100% do that so he is really the only option that they have. Sarah Beth said it wouldn’t show any cards since she can say that she is picking him because she can beat him.
11:24 PM: Derek let Azah and Tiffany know that Sarah Beth just asked him to play for her in the veto competition so he said yeah. Tiffany asked who Sarah Beth thinks won Coin of Destiny. Derek said he basically told her that Tiffany won. Azah said she still doesn’t know who won. Tiffany clarified that Claire won but she is wanting Sarah Beth and Alyssa to think that she won so that the pressure is off of Claire. Tiffany added that if Sarah Beth wins veto, they can tell her that Claire was HoH so that she can try to take Claire out next week.
11:32 PM: Azah, Derek, Hannah and Tiffany discussed that the Cookout has survived seven and soon to be eight evictions. They talked about how the others took each other out half of the time. Azah said she doesn’t know how people can’t see what is right in front of their faces. Derek said no one is ever going to want to say they think that all of the black people are working together. Kyland joined the four and then Azah went to grab Xavier because the six Cookout members have never been alone together. She came back and let them know that Xavier is asleep.
11:49 PM: All six members of the Cookout briefly met up for the first time.
11:52 PM: Hannah told Derek and Tiffany that she would rather the Cookout out themselves to the last person heading to jury so that they can control the narrative. She said she doesn’t want them to be deliberating and say that the black people got together and targeted them from Day 1. Tiffany said that’s not what happened and that it started with an agreement not to go after each other. Hannah said that’s why she wants to control the narrative. Derek said he respects that. They said they will talk about it more after next week if it comes down to it.
