Big Brother 23 Day 63
September 7, 2021
11:22 AM: Azah and Hannah discussed voting for Claire to stay, making it a 3-2 vote to evict her. Azah said she would only do it if she is absolutely certain that no one else is voting for her, otherwise she will have to keep it at 4-1. Hannah wondered if they should tell Alyssa. She thinks that Alyssa would still nominate Kyland and Tiffany and then one of them would have to go up anyway if one of them come down. whether they flip or not. They discussed that they would have the votes to stay over Kyland if they go up next to him. Hannah asked Azah if she has noticed that the guys have been talking a lot more frequently lately. She said it worries her. Azah said she could see how that worries her but there are people who have done things that are detrimental to them moving forward. Hannah suggested that the guys may want to go to the end together since they feel that they cannot win over a girl with so many females in jury. Azah said the odds are very in their favour to survive the night. She added that they are good as long as Kyland doesn’t win HoH. If Hannah wins, she said she would probably nominate Alyssa and Xavier, and Xavier would have the votes. If Alyssa comes down, she said that Kyland could go up.
11:51 AM: Alyssa told Hannah she doesn’t think that Azah and Derek will feel comfortable telling her that they are keeping Xavier, because they think that Hannah and Tiffany are very tight. Alyssa explained she had suggested telling Hannah beforehand so she doesn’t have incentive to come after them. Hannah thanked her for doing that. Alyssa said she and Xavier are going to solidify a three with Hannah.
12:52 PM: Alyssa told Derek she talked to Azah and thinks the smartest thing is to wait until right before the vote and tell Hannah they are keeping Xavier, so she is not blindsided and she has no reason to come after them. Alyssa said Kyland cannot know because he is going to be so frazzled and wondering what’s going on. Alyssa added that they do not want to give Hannah time to tell Tiffany. Derek agreed with it all. As for nominations, Alyssa said Kyland and Tiffany need to go up together because they may save each other if they realize that Kyland was the one vote and they are alone. Alyssa believes that Hannah may even be on the same page.
1:21 PM: Alyssa told Derek that if the plan follows through and Claire leaves, Claire may respect the game move from all of them and acknowledge that they are playing the game. Derek asked Alyssa if Kyland and Tiffany are going on the block if she wins. Alyssa said yes. Derek said he would send Tiffany home since he has been waiting to do so since week one. Alyssa said she would be fine with either one going.
4:01 PM: Hannah told Tiffany that Alyssa is going to be shocked by a 3-2 vote because she is expecting a 4-1 vote. Hannah said that might make her realize that she is not as comfortable as she thought and then she will fight even harder for HoH. Hannah said Claire is not really expecting Azah’s vote. Tiffany said Claire is making her pitches today and the crazy thing is that they make sense. Hannah pointed out that the guys have been spending a lot more time together recently. She worried that Kyland would not nominate a guy. Tiffany said if Kyland gets in power and doesn’t put Xavier on the block, then they know. Hannah worried that she would go up next to Azah if Alyssa came down. Tiffany said Azah would be so mad at her but she would have to evict her in that scenario, but Kyland cannot put either one of them on the block. Tiffany said they will know that they are by themselves if that happens. Hannah said they could probably convince Kyland to put Big D up next to Azah to ensure that Azah goes home.
4:27 PM: Claire told Azah it’s a scary spot to be in next to Xavier on the block. Claire told Azah she assumes that this is probably one of the hardest votes for her since she is going to have to stick her neck out. Claire brought up that she stuck her neck out for Britini because no one else would do it, and she is someone who wants to stick her neck out for her friends in this game. Claire said this is Azah’s move and whoever stays this week, it will be because of Azah. Claire explained that getting to the end with her is one of Azah’s best shots at winning the game. Claire said she thinks Alyssa, Britini, Derek X and Xavier would come to respect the move if Azah keeps her over the person most likely to win the game. Claire proceeded to run through all of the scenarios of what the house would look like depending on who goes and who wins HoH. Claire said Azah needs people who are going to keep her around, and there aren’t many votes left and she does not think that Xavier needs her. Claire said they came here to play. Claire pointed out that Azah has positioned herself nicely but she has to draw a line at some point. Azah said she doesn’t think Claire lied about anything and everything she said is very true. Azah said she wants to respect the alliance she made with Claire and Britini but she has not made a decision and she hopes Claire can respect her outside of this house no matter what. Claire said she will always respect her as a person.
5:45 PM: Hannah told Azah that it is in their best interest to win HoH. She brought up that anyone could end up on the block and her worry is that they could lose to Alyssa since Kyland and Xavier don’t want to win and Tiffany cannot compete. They agreed that Alyssa would nominate Kyland and Tiffany but one of them would likely go up if either of them come down. Hannah worried that the guys have something and would keep each other. She said if so, she cannot afford to lose Azah, and Azah cannot afford to lose her.
5:54 PM: Azah told Hannah she guesses she has to talk to Kyland about votes because she would like to give Claire one, or would like for it to be 3-2. Hannah said she would as well and would be fine with telling Alyssa that she is giving Claire a sympathy vote. Azah said Alyssa assumes that she is voting to keep Xavier but she has not explicitly said that and has only told her “X is going to stay”. Azah mentioned that she may not tell Alyssa that she was one of the votes unless she wins HoH.
6:12 PM: Derek told Azah that she would be forcing his hand to send Kyland home if she nominates him next to Hannah. Azah said it would be the same if he forces her to evict Tiffany if he nominates Hannah and Tiffany. Derek then said that he could evict Hannah over Kyland and she could evict Hannah over Tiffany, since it would not impact the vote and they would still get their targets out. Azah agreed that they can have different targets and still work together. Derek hopes to get Tiffany out first once they get down to six while Azah hopes to get Kyland out first.
6:25 PM: Hannah asked Kyland if he is set on not winning this HoH. Kyland said he is set on the importance of competing at six. Hannah then asked if he is set on not winning if he doesn’t have to, which Kyland said he definitely is. Hannah said she would like to win and she would just have to figure out how to phrase it to Alyssa when she puts her on the block. She asked if it’s worth telling Alyssa that she is the pawn. Kyland said it’s weird to have pawns this late in the game. Hannah then talked about saying that she is trying to split up a strong duo, as Xavier would likely be on the block next to her.
6:29 PM: Hannah let Kyland and Tiffany know she told Xavier that he should expect to see the block if she wins. Tiffany said to put Derek up if Alyssa comes down. Hannah said they can then send out whoever they want at that point.
10:24 PM: Claire told Kyland that Azah will be seen as someone who was carried, coasted and never had to make a decision if she votes her out this week, and then she will not get any jury votes aside from Britini’s. On the other hand, she said she believes that Xavier would respect it if Azah takes him out and then makes it to the end. She added that it would give Azah something to say that she did in the game since she is unlikely to win many competitions. Claire said it’s scary because she does not know what deals Xavier has with people. Claire let Kyland know that Xavier doesn’t need him since he can easily beat Alyssa, Azah and Derek at the end. As for herself, Claire said she needs Kyland in the game and she knows that he comes with two votes against him in Azah and Britini. Claire said this week showed her that Tiffany will always take him over her, and she would not beat Tiffany so she would take him. Claire said if she goes this week, she knows that Xavier must be playing a hell of a game since everyone is already saying that he is going to win but they would be keeping him over her. Claire said she would have to vote for him if he got to the end at that point.
10:59 PM: Tiffany told Hannah that regardless of whether she wins or loses, she wants to be proud of the decisions that she made in this house. Tiffany said Claire was going on the block this week regardless and was probably going to go home regardless but she is glad that it went this way so she and Claire could have a better understanding when she walked out that door. Tiffany said Claire and Derek are going to be smart enough to figure out that they all must be working together, and they will understand once Claire relays the information she gave to her to Derek.
11:28 PM: Azah told Xavier she doesn’t mind coming in third place within the three that she made with Derek and Xavier. Azah said she cant explain it but it’s probably that they have built such a bond that $750,000 will not affect it. Xavier said the money can do something for his nephew and he is not going to pick anyone in the house over his nephew. Xavier explained that he didn’t want to get too close to anyone to a point where he wouldn’t be able to get rid of them when it came time to do it. Xavier talked about their “blind date” earlier in the night and said that is part of what makes him apprehensive, in addition to the fact that he does not want anyone watching him on a date since it is not anyone else’s business. Azah said Claire gave her a really good pitch today and some of the things were true but others may be based on her perception. Azah specified that Claire may think that she has a delusion when it comes to Xavier. Azah said Claire told her that Xavier has positioned himself very well that he is protected by people and he has been throwing competitions. Azah said Claire told her that she needs her in the game but Xavier does not. She added that Azah would have no shot at beating Xavier in the final two.
11:57 PM: Alyssa told Xavier she thinks America is going to love them if this plan works after how crazy it is. Xavier said he will probably talk to Derek, Azah, Kyland, Hannah and then talk to Alyssa last. Alyssa mentioned bringing her in to the end of his talk with Hannah so that they can solidify something. Alyssa asked if Xavier should tell Kyland that Tiffany tried to get her to use the veto on Xavier so that he could go up. Xavier said he was planning on it.
12:32 AM: Hannah told Kyland and Tiffany she did not discourage Azah when she talked about wanting to make it a 3-2 vote. Tiffany said it might be a good idea. Hannah said she hopes that Alyssa would be frazzled if the vote is 3-2, and then she would be shaken up prior to the HoH competition. If Alyssa wins, Hannah said could tell her that Azah flipped and then hopefully she would not put Kyland and Tiffany up together.
12:42 AM: Tiffany told Hannah that Kyland needs to realize they are his only chance like he is their only chance. She said she really wants to tell him that Xavier has said on numerous occasions that he is first to go at six. Her worry with telling him is that Kyland would let Xavier know. Hannah said Azah wants Kyland gone first then Tiffany and then her. She said the other three have a final three. Tiffany said she believes it. Hannah said Azah told her that Xavier wants Kyland gone first and he has no intention on honouring the final three with the guys. Hannah said Xavier told her about the final three with the guys two weeks ago. Hannah said Derek and Kyland believe in the guys final three deal but Xavier said he doesn’t plan on keeping it. Tiffany said it’s because Xavier doesn’t need them. Hannah agreed and said he doesn’t need anyone. Tiffany thinks he would feel better with them than the guys. Hannah thinks Xavier has a final three with Azah and Derek, her and Tiffany, and Derek and Kyland. Hannah thinks Azah and Derek are his ideal final three.
