Big Brother 23 Day 66 - Kyland nominates Hannah and Tiffany
September 10, 2021
9:52 AM: Kyland told Xavier he is thinking of having a repeat of his week two HoH in a sense of being up front in his move and his speech. Xavier said best case scenario would be nominating Hannah and Tiffany, and then nominations stay the same. Kyland said as long as Tiffany doesn’t win the veto, that’s all that matters. Xavier said Hannah and Tiffany going up is the move to make and then once the veto is decided, they can discuss whether or not it’s worth taking Hannah down to gain favour with her for next week. Kyland said he was thinking about that. Xavier said the incentive to keep nominations the same is that Azah would have no reason to go after Kyland if she doesn’t touch the block this week.
10:18 AM: After talking to Xavier, Kyland spoke to the cameras and said he might be the worst at the game since Xavier could win HoH next week and send him home.
10:40 AM: Azah and Kyland continued to discuss working together until at least final four. Azah clarified that she and Derek do not have a final two deal. Kyland said he doesn’t expect any scenario in which Azah would keep him over Derek, at least not at this point in the game. That being said, Kyland told Azah that what he said about not targeting her still stands.
10:52 AM: Tiffany told Kyland that she needs him and Hannah in the game but she needs him more. Tiffany admitted to feeling a disconnect between them and acknowledged that it needs to be repaired. Tiffany made it clear that she is not looking to move forward with Xavier in the game. She said Xavier insinuated at times that Kyland needs to be the first to go. She explained that she did not want to come out and tell Kyland that straight up as she did not know what kind of relationship the two of them had. Tiffany admitted to having told Xavier at one point about her final two with Kyland. She said she does still want to keep that final two deal and she wants Kyland to know that she is committed to it. Tiffany said she believes that Derek and Xavier should be the first to go.
1:19 PM: Hannah told Kyland there is one person that she will inevitably lose to, and that is Xavier. She said that if she were HoH, she would be targeting him. Hannah stated that she will vote however Kyland wants her to if she is not on the block at the end of the week. She added that she is willing to hop on board if Kyland sees a move that is best for him and for the two of them and Tiffany. Hannah said Kyland will not see the block next week if she wins HoH, and she will use the veto on him if he is nominated. Hannah said she is serious about getting to the end with Kyland and Tiffany. Kyland asked what she would be willing to offer if she goes up in a way that ensures she stays. Hannah said she cannot see herself staying over anyone but Tiffany, but then she would go if Tiffany wins the veto. Hannah also said that Kyland would be down a number if she or Tiffany were to leave. Hannah said she believes that Xavier has a deal with every single person in the Cookout, just like Derek has a final two with everyone but Tiffany and herself.
3:06 PM: Tiffany told Kyland that she would not feel comfortable for Kyland if Xavier were HoH right now, but he is comfortable with Xavier. Tiffany said that was confusing for her and she wondered if he knows something about Xavier that she doesn’t know. Tiffany brought up that she eventually started to consider that Xavier must be targeting her if he is not actually targeting Kyland, but she does not get why he would do that when he could beat her.
3:52 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
5:30 PM: Feeds returned. Kyland nominated Hannah and Tiffany for eviction.
5:30 PM: Tiffany told Azah that whatever is going to happen is going to happen, and the best thing that she can do is prepare herself and accept it. Tiffany said it’s totally fine. Azah said she thought that Kyland would take a shot some place else. Tiffany said Kyland and Xavier are working together like she told her. She pointed out that men stick together and women don’t.
5:30 PM: Kyland told Hannah that his recent conversations with Tiffany have been her acknowledging that she has given him reasons to not trust her, while he has not done the same to her. Kyland said they have been close until less than seven days ago, and he was easily the most loyal person to her even though he does not know if it was reciprocated. Kyland said Tiffany’s biggest mistake may have been deciding to no longer trust him. He believes that even if she would now stay loyal to him, it would be out of necessity and not choice. Hannah asked if the sole reason she is on the block is because she would be the most likely person to use the veto on Tiffany. Kyland said yes. Hannah asked if this had anything to do with her nominating him last night, and Kyland said no.
5:36 PM: Xavier told Tiffany he is sorry that she is on the block and had to see her face up on the wall for the first time this season. Tiffany said there is nothing to be sorry about. She said she is sure that everyone was expecting it, since she was and it was not a surprise to her.
5:52 PM: Kyland spoke to the camera and said this is tough because he loves Tiffany and feels crappy that he had to do this to her on her son’s birthday. Kyland said he has been wanting to ride with Tiffany. He questioned why she could not stop lying to him.
5:59 PM: Derek told Kyland he is proud of him for doing what needed to be done. Kyland said Tiffany is an incredible player but it has become too difficult for him to work with her. Derek said they have all had their concerns with her throughout the entire game. Kyland said she had followed through on things until last week. Derek said their job is not done and they have to win the veto tomorrow.
6:54 PM: Tiffany spoke to the camera and said that she will have to win the veto. She said that she is not going to give up or quit, and she is a believer in what is meant to be will be. Tiffany said she was not surprised to find herself on the block.
9:07 PM: Derek told Hannah he thought that he and Xavier may end up on the block. Derek suggested that Kyland’s target must be Tiffany since Kyland wants her to go for the veto. He said that means that Kyland is open to working with her. Hannah asked if they are all on the same page in terms of wanting to keep her this week. Derek said he feels that way and he knows that Azah loves the both of them so she will do what is best for her game.
