Big Brother 24 Day 13 - Michael decides not to use the Power of Veto
July 18, 2022
11:01 AM: Ameerah told Nicole that Monte said Indy tried to start an alliance with him and Joseph. Nicole said they knew it. The girls discussed that they cannot have Indy in jury but they cannot be the ones to take her out. They discussed that Taylor winning HoH would be ideal.
11:06 AM: Ameerah asked Alyssa if she told Monte or anyone about the alliance between the two of them, Nicole, Daniel and Jasmine. Alyssa said no. Ameerah and Nicole said they are not going to tell anyone.
11:24 AM: Nicole and Terrance discussed that they cannot let Turner win HoH. They worried that he would retaliate once Pooch leaves. Nicole mentioned that Jasmine wants to tell Joseph and Turner about the plan ahead of time so that they are not blindsided, and then they can vote whichever way they want to.
12:06 PM: Feeds went down for the veto ceremony.
1:12 PM: Feeds returned. Michael decided not to use the Power of Veto. Pooch and Taylor remain nominated.
1:39 PM: Pooch told Ameerah that he needs to confirm seven votes, which he feels good about. Ameerah reassured him that he is good.
1:55 PM: Ameerah told Nicole that Taylor woke up this morning and asked if she embarrassed herself last night. Ameerah said she thinks it’s good that Taylor exposed her feelings about Daniel because now Daniel can stop being mean about it. Nicole said he now knows that she doesn’t leave him alone because she wants to make out with him. The girls then talked about targeting Turner next week. They said Taylor would have to go up next to him. They agreed that it’s best for the women if Taylor sticks around.
2:30 PM: Terrance asked Taylor who she would put up initially. There were talks about backdooring Monte. Taylor said it would come down to who votes her out on Thursday. Terrance said the game is about to start. Taylor agreed and said she does not want Monte in it. Terrance suggested that Joseph and Turner go up initially.
3:47 PM: Turner told Monte he heard from Brittany that Taylor wanted to get taken down in order to put a strong guy up, which had to have been Kyle or Monte. Turner said it’s good that her campaign failed since it makes it more likely that it will fail again.
3:50 PM: Pooch told Monte and Turner that there is nothing scarier than a bunch of petty girls. He added that petty girls don’t change their minds, so he feels good this week since they hate Taylor. Pooch figured that they would let their emotions take over when making the decision this week.
4:05 PM: Pooch told Kyle that Alyssa loves him and he needs to use that more. Kyle said she is a good girl but he hasn’t seen that from her, but maybe he is oblivious. Pooch asked if he would have a showmance with her. Kyle said he feels like it would put too much of a spotlight on them this early, but maybe down the road. Pooch said the guys would have his back if it were to happen.
5:13 PM: Jasmine told Daniel and some of the girls that none of the guys had Joseph’s back in a sense of asking her to keep him off of the block. She said it’s not her place to tell him but those guys are not looking out for him.
5:20 PM: Daniel talked to the girls about his vote. He said he will vote to evict Pooch if they don’t otherwise have the numbers, but he wouldn’t mind being able to vote for him in order to avoid raising any suspicion since he has been talking with Pooch and Turner since the start. Nicole agreed that it would be good to have Daniel vote the other way so that it appears as though there is a divide in the house. Daniel said he thinks that he would then be able to pull Turner in and influence him. Jasmine worried that the vote would be too close. Ameerah suggested that Daniel evict Pooch but pretend that he was one of the votes to keep him.
5:30 PM: Joseph, Kyle and Monte talked about how the girls are all up in the HoH room. Joseph said he has a gut feeling that they are going to try to send Pooch home. Joseph said they know not to tell the guys, and all they need to do is rally the girls and maybe Michael and Terrance in order to send Pooch home. Monte said it almost feels like they are on the outside looking in after this week. Monte asked if they are even sold that Daniel is with them. Kyle said he thinks Daniel is a lot closer to Nicole than they realize.
6:19 PM: Jasmine and Nicole advised Taylor to keep doing what she is doing since Pooch is burying himself. Taylor said she just needs to chill. Jasmine said she still needs to campaign. Nicole suggested laying low tomorrow before campaigning on Wednesday and Thursday.
6:36 PM: Brittany told Joseph that Pooch is throwing his name under the bus. When Joseph questioned it, Brittany said Pooch is telling people that he isn’t working with Joseph. Joseph said that’s not really a lie since they aren’t working together but they are friends. Brittany then said Pooch is not looking out for Joseph in this game.
6:38 PM: Daniel told Jasmine he noticed Brittany and Joseph come out of the gym together. He worried that Brittany may be spreading too much information throughout the house. Daniel told Jasmine that he will vote Pooch out if she is worried about the numbers. Jasmine admitted that she is concerned about it since she does not want it to come down to a tie.
7:25 PM: Terrance told Daniel he feels like everyone is going to be salivating for HoH next week. Daniel agreed. Terrance said he knows who he would put up next week. He revealed that it would be Joseph and Turner. Daniel said he is ready to play ball.
7:35 PM: Monte told Daniel and Terrance that he doesn’t know if he is being paranoid but he is concerned about the potential of a strong female alliance looking to pick off all of the guys. He mentioned guys are coming up to him and saying that the girls get quiet when they walk into rooms. Terrance said he does not want to see that happen, and they have the numbers by one at this point. Monte said he is starting to hear that Pooch could be in trouble this week even though Taylor is someone who could do something big if she wins HoH. Monte questioned if it’s just the girls that want to get Pooch out, or if it’s actually the whole house. Monte said Pooch hasn’t mentioned their names, so why should he vote him out this week.
8:02 PM: Daniel told Terrance he is going to pull Monte aside on Thursday and let him know that everything is flipping. He said he will tell Terrance at the same time. Terrance agreed that Daniel should tell him in front of Monte. Daniel said they can then save face with Monte, seeing as he said that he does not want to be blindsided. Daniel said he needs to clear it with Jasmine first.
8:15 PM: Taylor told Michael she doesn’t see anyone coming for him unless he wins HoH and takes someone out, as it would then give a reason for them to target him. Taylor said she is nervous that it would be all hands on deck to take her out if she wins HoH and gets a big target out. Michael figured that it would depend on who the person is. He added that she would have a reason to make a move depending on how the votes fall this week. Brittany said Taylor has the ability to take shots that others cannot. Michael said the game can be blown wide open if one of the shots is taken.
9:16 PM: Monte told Terrance that he wants to talk game with some of the girls but they are being weird this week. He continued to note that they are all going off together to chat and aren’t even being discrete about it. He said none of them are coming up to him, and he has to approach them if he wants to talk. Monte said he hopes that he is just being paranoid, otherwise he is going to have to start playing more aggressive.
9:29 PM: Michael told Brittany he thinks it would be hard to keep Taylor around but she would be loyal to the two of them if they can do it. Brittany agreed and said that they are at the top of Taylor’s list. Both said they do not want to get rid of her. Brittany talked about how the girls think that she is with them but she she realizes that she will be the first to go if it ever got down to them.
9:39 PM: Taylor let Daniel know that it’s good for her personal game to have him stay for a while. She said she doesn’t see a situation where she would put Daniel and jeopardy, and it would be strictly as a pawn if she did.
10:27 PM: Brittany again warned Joseph that Pooch is throwing his name around a lot. Joseph said he gets along better with Pooch and sees Taylor as more of a wildcard, so he would like to keep Pooch in the game. Joseph added that he has more control over Pooch than Brittany has over Taylor, which Brittany agreed with. Brittany asked what they would do if hypothetically the vote were to flip at the last minute. Joseph said he likes Pooch but he would like to be in the majority. They agreed to keep each other in the loop if they hear about anything changing.
10:49 PM: Brittany spoke to the cameras, saying she hopes that she is building trust with Joseph by keeping him in the loop. She wants him to take a shot at Ameerah for her when the time comes. She also said that she would like to keep Michael protected.
10:51 PM: Brittany let Michael know that she wants to tell Joseph about the vote flipping but they cannot do it until the last minute. She explained that it can help build trust. Michael said that’s if they are able to get to him before someone tells him.
