Big Brother 24 Day 16 - Pooch is evicted; Turner wins HoH
July 21, 2022
8:40 PM: Feeds returned. Pooch was evicted by a vote of 12-0. Turner is the new HoH. The new twist was put into play. The houseguests are now playing in pairs. The pairs are as follows:
Alyssa and Indy
Ameerah and Terrance
Brittany and Michael
Daniel and Kyle
Jasmine and Turner
Joseph and Monte
Nicole and Taylor8:53 PM: Kyle apologized to Jasmine for not picking her. Jasmine said she is good since she is safe and she can make sure that others are safe with Turner as well.
8:55 PM: Kyle told Daniel he looked at him and thought that they would be able to win together. Daniel said he believes that they can now float to jury and help whoever they need to along the way. Daniel said he really likes Kyle and has been wanting to get to know him, so now he has an excuse to.
9:01 PM: Kyle asked if they were told that two pairs would be going on the block, or just one. Both Alyssa and Brittany told him that just one pair will be nominated.
9:03 PM: Ameerah told Alyssa, Kyle and Michael that it’s very important their alliance of six stays solid, seeing as the twist is eventually going to end. Michael said it may even work out in their favour since they cannot be nominated next to each other given that they spread themselves out throughout the pairs. Kyle brought up that Nicole and Taylor seem like an easy choice for nominations. Ameerah agreed. Michael said he had thought about it as well.
9:10 PM: Kyle and Turner celebrated Turner’s HoH win. Turner said they needed it so bad and it could have been two opposite weeks when it came down to either he or Ameerah winning. Kyle asked if they made an agreement that they would have each other’s backs. Turner said no.
9:12 PM: Brittany and Michael wondered who the nominees might be. Michael figures that Alyssa and Indy will be safe since Turner is close to Alyssa. He also thinks that Turner would be too afraid to nominate Joseph and Monte. Michael suggested that Nicole and Taylor may find themselves on the block. Brittany agreed.
9:15 PM: Joseph encouraged Turner to find out who planted the seed that resulted in Pooch getting evicted.
9:16 PM: Turner let Alyssa know that he will not be putting her on the block.
9:18 PM: Ameerah told Terrance they need to promise that they will never put Jasmine and Turner up. Terrance said the problem is Turner would never put Joseph and Monte up. Terrance added that if he did put them up and either one of them win the veto, they both get to come down.
9:19 PM: Joseph told Monte that Turner plans to go after whoever planted the seed to get Pooch out. Monte said he will be out for blood. They agreed that it can be a good thing for the two of them. When Joseph asked who Monte is thinking of recommending to go up, he said Taylor. Joseph wondered if Taylor wouldn’t be a satisfying enough target for Turner since what happened to Pooch was not her doing.
9:40 PM: Taylor told Brittany and Michael that she cannot handle being backdoored. She pointed out that there is no way she would survive over Nicole if that were to happen.
9:42 PM: Nicole told Alyssa and Indy that if she and Taylor go up, Taylor can go and then next week Brittany and Michael could go up with Brittany leaving. Alyssa added that they can get Turner out of there at some point. Indy was upset that she lost the competition. Nicole told her that she will probably be safe for the duration of the twist since nobody will nominate her and Alyssa.
9:46 PM: Alyssa told Indy she thinks that Brittany and Michael will go up, Michael will win the veto, and then Turner will nominate Nicole and Taylor in their place.
10:12 PM: Turner called the houseguests to the living room. He announced that only one pair will be have-nots this week. Jasmine had to choose. Alyssa and Indy are the have-nots for the week.
11:29 PM: Daniel, Jasmine and Terrance discussed how rude Indy has been since becoming a have-not. Alyssa joined them. Daniel told her not to let Indy get inside her head. He added that it could become easy for Turner to put them up with the way that Indy is acting.
11:54 PM: Joseph told Turner he did not expect the house to vote Pooch out. Turner said it was last second. Joseph said he doesn’t think it was Taylor’s doing. Joseph explained that Pooch told him someone heard about Oasis and was spreading it around the house. Joseph swore to God that it was not him who spread it. Joseph doesn’t think that Pooch believed him. Joseph pointed out that if he was the one to expose the alliance, he wouldn’t have been the last to find out that Pooch was leaving.
12:15 AM: Michael told Brittany he thinks that this twist will be very similar to the BB13 one in which whoever’s partner went home became safe via the golden key. Michael said they obviously have to pitch that they will keep Jasmine and Turner safe, but they can also let Turner know that they are two votes in the event that he and Jasmine go up together.
1:22 AM: Nicole told Jasmine that Taylor is scared they are going to get backdoored. Nicole said she should get backdoored. Jasmine said they could put Brittany and Michael on the block initially. If the veto isn’t used, Jasmine said she would rather Brittany go home. Nicole agreed. If the veto is used, Taylor would then go home. Nicole mentioned it’s possible that the person who loses their partner gets some type of power, and then she can keep Jasmine and Turner safe with it.
2:10 AM: Turner came out of the diary room for his HoH reveal.
2:43 AM: Jasmine told Turner he can only imagine how she felt about what went down last week. Jasmine said she really doesn’t like Taylor and feels as though she took over her HoH by saying whatever she did to stay. Turner said he didn’t know it was flipping until about five minutes before. Turner let Jasmine know that Pooch had wanted to form something with Brittany and Michael, then minutes before the eviction they said that they cannot keep him. Turner said he doesn’t trust Brittany at all. Jasmine said she feels it was Taylor who did this but her goal this week is to find out what happened. Turner said he doesn’t know why Nicole picked Taylor. Jasmine suggested that Nicole might get an advantage if Taylor leaves. Jasmine said Brittany and Michael go up, and Brittany can go if nominations stay the same. If not, Nicole and Taylor can go up. Jasmine explained that Brittany or Taylor can go depending on how the veto plays out. Turner said he would never put up Daniel and Kyle or Alyssa and Indy. Jasmine said she would not want to put up Alyssa and Indy, Ameerah and Terrance or Daniel and Kyle. Turner talked about targeting either Brittany or Taylor.
3:48 AM: Turner told Daniel and Kyle he is obviously thinking Taylor as a potential target. Turner said he isn’t crazy about Indy but there is no chance that he would put Alyssa up, so that’s off of the table. Turner questioned why Nicole picked Taylor. Daniel said she did it on purpose because she felt safe in the event that she ended up on the block next to Taylor. Daniel said a backdoor might be better since Taylor will go hard for the veto and he cannot see Nicole throwing a competition. Turner said Brittany freaks him out so that’s the other pair that he is looking at for potential nominees. Turner said Jasmine told him that Taylor overheard Pooch talking about Oasis and how the boys need to get the girls out. Turner said he believes that. Daniel said Turner can pitch to Michael that he is a veto king so he needs them up there because he has other plans, and then if somehow they stay up there they can take Brittany out. Turner said he thinks best case scenario is Taylor leaves since he doesn’t think that Brittany can win a competition.
4:57 AM: Turner told Daniel, Kyle, Joseph and Monte that his main targets are Brittany and then more so Taylor. Turner said Brittany and Michael can go up as pawns. Worst case scenario, he said Taylor wins the veto and then Brittany goes followed by Taylor next week. If not, Taylor can go this week.
