Big Brother 24 Day 17 - Turner nominates Brittany and Michael
July 22, 2022
10:39 AM: Michael said he thinks that he and Brittany are probably going to be nominated. Nicole told him that the plan is to get Taylor out. Ameerah added that he will be safe even if the nominations end up staying the same by some chance.10:43 AM: Michael asked Nicole if it will hurt his game if he goes on the block and wins a third straight veto. Nicole said it wont matter since they did the math last night and the alliance of six is good for at least three to four weeks since they each picked someone not in their alliance to be partnered up with.
11:08 AM: Jasmine let Alyssa know that Turner is thinking about nominating either Brittany and Michael or Nicole and Taylor. Jasmine said Turner cannot stand Brittany but he wants to figure out who flipped the vote. When Alyssa asked what their story is, Jasmine said she told him that Taylor was behind the vote flip. Jasmine encouraged Alyssa to say the same thing when she speaks to Turner.
11:14 AM: Nicole told Joseph that Turner needs to backdoor her and Taylor as it is the only way to get rid of Taylor. Nicole added that she does not want to be nominated initially because she does not want Taylor to be able to compete.
11:33 AM: Michael spoke to Kyle about Nicole saying that the next three people to go will be Taylor, Brittany and Indy. Michael was concerned that all of the people close to Nicole would then be in jury. Kyle said it’s a big red flag and Monte had similar concerns about the plan. Michael also said he is losing all of the protection that he may have outside of the alliance. Kyle let Michael know that Turner is planning to nominate him and Brittany in order to backdoor Taylor, but plan B would be to take Brittany out.
11:40 AM: Brittany let Turner know that she and Michael will help make sure that Taylor leaves if she is the target. On top of that, she said that they would keep Turner safe if they win HoH.
11:42 AM: Turner spoke to the cameras and said Brittany pointed out that it may be good to have Michael play in the veto competition, so he might be able to use that during his conversation with Michael. Turner said that Taylor has got to go.
11:48 AM: Turner let Michael know that Taylor is likely going to be his target. He said he would like to do a backdoor. Turner said Brittany brought up that she would prefer not to be used as a pawn but mentioned that Michael could win a veto. Turner assured Michael that he would be safe if he is used as a pawn, but he does not know if he is going to do that yet. Michael said he would be nervous about going up, winning another veto, and then having people flip and want him out over Brittany next week. They went through the math and discussed that Taylor would have just a 20% chance of playing in the veto competition should she be kept off of the block, so it was ultimately decided that going the pawn route is the best option.
1:09 PM: Taylor told Turner that she cannot handle being on the block again. Turner said it would seem like torture to do that to her again. Nicole said that if Turner keeps them off of the block, they will fight for the veto for him. Nicole added that she has been trying to protect Taylor and that’s why she decided to be her bestie. Turner said he thinks that they could work some things out moving forward, and they are both good competitors, so therefore it would not be ideal to put them up.
1:22 PM: Ameerah let Turner know that she and Terrance would not put him and Jasmine on the block. Ameerah brought up that Taylor is a complete wildcard and then Brittany is someone who has already made stuff up. Ameerah let Turner know that Taylor has stated that she wants to go after a guy. Turner asked if he should go for a backdoor move. Ameerah suggested that he do that.
1:31 PM: Turner told Ameerah and Terrance that they will not be going on the block. Ameerah said she would happily put Brittany and Michael back up next week if Taylor ends up leaving, otherwise she would go for Taylor if Brittany is the one to leave this week. They discussed that this week sets up for an easy week next week as well.
1:38 PM: Turner told Daniel and Kyle that he plans to nominate Brittany and Michael with Taylor being his backdoor target.
1:50 PM: Turner told Indy that he would not nominate her and Alyssa. He said he hopes that they would return the favour. Indy said she would not put him up if she were to win. Turner revealed that he is thinking of nominating Brittany and Michael with Taylor as the backdoor target. Indy said she thinks that is the best move.
2:05 PM: Turner spoke to Joseph and Monte about the plan. They talked about having Turner choose them to play in the veto competition if he happens to pull the houseguest’s choice chip. The only concern was that there was already talk of a guys alliance, so it may look bad. Joseph figured that Turner could play it off as though he had to pick two guys to win a competition for him.
2:25 PM: Turner spoke to the cameras, saying that everyone has the same target so they should be good this week. He believes that the twist will benefit him as it will allow him to get closer with the girls.
2:39 PM: Turner talked to Brittany and Michael about the plan to use them as pawns.
3:25 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
4:55 PM: Feeds returned. Turner nominated Brittany and Michael for eviction.
5:00 PM: Ameerah asked Michael if Brittany knows that they are pawns. Michael confirmed that Turner had told them. Michael said he otherwise is watching what he says around Brittany. Monte said he feels as though there is almost nothing to talk about this week, which feels pretty good. Ameerah said everyone is aligned and there is no arguing.
5:30 PM: Ameerah told Kyle that everyone seems to be irritated with Indy at this point, and she had thought that she was the only one who was unsure about her previously. Kyle thought that Indy had become more irritable of late.
9:08 PM: Ameerah told Michael that everyone is aligned this week, making it an easy and chill week. Michael he just needs Brittany to stay calm and not talk so much. Michael added that the most nerve-racking part of this will be the veto player pick as there is just one chip that cannot come out of the box.
9:22 PM: Taylor spoke to the cameras about how she has somehow become the villain even though everyone goes at each other harder than she goes at them. Taylor explained that she takes it since it’s not worth having the house against you. Taylor admitted that she is frustrated but the key is putting on a good face. Taylor brought up that Brittany is a little awkward but doesn’t hurt anyone and yet the house wants to vote her out.
10:08 PM: Nicole told Brittany and Michael that they have got to fight tomorrow but the good thing is that whoever they play against, they are going to take them down.
10:24 PM: Turner asked Brittany if she has talked to anyone and how she is doing. Brittany said she is feeling good and everyone have to be bamboozling her if something is up.
10:35 PM: Turner spoke to the cameras and said that Brittany was standing outside of his HoH room for five minutes and she is driving him crazy. Turner said the people he would like to talk to are Alyssa, Daniel, Joseph, Kyle and Monte. He said Brittany is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to people that he wants to talk to.
11:00 PM: Nicole told Ameerah and Daniel that she has lied to Taylor so much today that she has to stay away from her because she cannot keep up with her own lies. Nicole said she mentioned that if they win HoH, they will have to make a big move, and Taylor replied with “so we are going to have start going after the girls”. Ameerah asked how that is a big move. Daniel questioned why girls do this in this game.
11:20 PM: Nicole told Alyssa, Ameerah, Kyle and Monte about her talk with Taylor. She said Taylor’s job is to work on Joseph and Monte while she works on Daniel and Kyle. Ameerah added that Taylor wants to get rid of the girls.
11:43 PM: Taylor asked Michael if he has thought about who he wants to go up if he comes down. Michael said he thinks there is a chance that Indy may go up but Turner does not want Alyssa to go up. Michael said he doesn’t think that Turner would put Taylor up for a third time. He added that a lot of people have been rubbed the wrong way by Indy lately.
12:00 AM: The houseguests celebrated Joseph’s birthday. They had cake that they made from cake mix that Big Brother had given them earlier in the week.
1:58 AM: Joseph told Kyle and Monte he thinks the girls are pushing for an Alyssa and Kyle showmance because it would give them an in with the guys through Alyssa’s connection to Kyle. They discussed that Alyssa, Ameerah and Jasmine are all really smart. Kyle said he doesn’t want to make a move but he is also doesn’t want to upset Alyssa.
2:50 AM: Kyle asked Joseph, Monte and Turner if they think the girls will actually be cool with Taylor, Brittany and Indy being the next three to go. Kyle pointed out that Indy is not a threat to any of the girls, and that would be three girls in a row. Monte brought up that Daniel and Terrance’s relationship with Nicole may be key in deciding who has the majority of the votes. Joseph said they may have to focus on getting Daniel, Michael and Terrance to vote with them. Kyle suggested that Brittany and Michael could be numbers for them. Turner said the only thing is they vowed their loyalty to Pooch, and they were the swing votes but still voted him out. Kyle pointed out that Daniel and Nicole did the same thing.
3:04 AM: Monte brought up that Taylor keeps making herself a bigger target. Turner said the girls hate her with a passion. Joseph said he believes that but they still voted Pooch out over her. Monte figured that they looked at Pooch as the head of the guys alliance, so that’s why they kept Taylor.
3:15 AM: Joseph, Kyle, Monte and Turner discussed that whoever planted the seed to get Pooch out flipped the house from being unanimously against Taylor to being unanimously against Pooch, which is scary. They talked about Ameerah being a machine. Joseph pointed out that she almost won HoH this week too. Kyle said it was scary hearing Ameerah talk about The Amazing Race as she said that she would have shaved her head for an advantage, and she would do anything for a million dollars. Joseph said if a guy doesn’t win the game, he thinks that it will be Ameerah or Nicole. The guys talked about how they pick off the lesser threats rather than reeling them in, whereas the girls shot for the head last week. Joseph said Pooch told Ameerah that he was going after Brittany, Indy and Michael, and then the next day those three heard that Pooch was coming for them. Kyle guaranteed they knew from that point forward that they were going to vote Pooch out. Joseph said Ameerah started crying and threw up when Turner one, yelling that she is going to go home. Joseph said it may be because she thinks that she sent Pooch home. Joseph noted that every time he talks to Brittany, Ameerah then goes to her right after.
3:28 AM: The guys continued to discuss Ameerah. Turner said Ameerah might think that she is getting backdoored. Kyle said they cant keep Taylor though. Joseph agreed but said that Ameerah terrifies him. Joseph said he put it together when Ameerah said that she was going home when Turner won HoH. Joseph explained that the day after Pooch tried to make an alliance with Ameerah, Indy came to him and said how hurt she will be if the guys come after her. Joseph said Pooch will be jumping up and down watching this if he is right about Ameerah.
4:00 AM: Kyle floated the idea of brining in Brittany, Michael and Taylor. Kyle said he is just spitballing but if they win the veto and take down Brittany and Michael, and then put up Ameerah and Terrance, that takes two votes away from the other side. Kyle guaranteed that he could get Michael with Brittany, and then they could approach Taylor for an alliance. Monte said everyone can see that Daniel, Nicole and Terrance are tight, plus that Alyssa, Ameerah, Jasmine and Indy are together as well. Monte suggested that Brittany, Michael and Taylor would have no other choice but to join them if they lay out the information for them. Kyle said he doesn’t trust Taylor but he thinks that they can get her on their side with this information. Kyle and Monte said they can explain that Nicole partnered up with Taylor to get her out. On top of that, Kyle said the girls are mean to Brittany and she is looking for a home. Kyle said they will be in a worse position if Taylor leaves this week since their options are dwindling. Joseph said they need to see how the veto goes before they proceed with anything. Joseph said it’s going to be a war in the house if they do this. Turner agreed but Monte said the girls have already declared it. Monte said Ameerah is the biggest threat since she has the ability to sway the whole house. The guys talked about the house being so chill right now because the plan to get Taylor out fits the narrative that the girls want.
4:21 AM: Kyle let the guys know that Nicole is so confident that Taylor is leaving that she told him that Taylor’s plan is to approach the two pairs of alpha males. Kyle suggested that if they brought this information to Taylor, her trust with Nicole would be done. Monte said Nicole told him that as well, and Nicole screwed herself on that one. Turner said they would be digging their own grave by taking the shot that the girls want them to take. Joseph said it would be ideal if they can find a reason to put Ameerah up aside from her being the mastermind behind the Pooch plan, as then it’s not necessarily going to come off as though they are declaring war and have cracked the code.
5:39 AM: Turner spoke to the cameras after the talk with the guys wrapped up. Turner said that he is pretty on board. He said he is so tired that he could almost fall asleep, so that’s why he didn’t do much of the talking. On top of that, he said that the guys had more of the puzzle pieces since he was close with Pooch. Turner said he knew he had to find a new in at this point and this could be it.
