Big Brother 24 Day 2
July 7, 2022
11:16 AM: Ameerah told Paloma she thinks that she is going to be nominated. Paloma disagreed. She suggested that Terrance may go on the block. Ameerah said it’s BS that the older people always get nominated first. They agreed that they like Terrance. Ameerah and Paloma discussed their girls alliance that consists of the two of them, Alyssa, Brittany, Indy and Jasmine. Both remain unsure about how solid Indy is with them. Ameerah said she believes that the core of the girls alliance is the two of them, Brittany and Jasmine. They talked about the need to watch out for Taylor, as they both think that she has not tried to build any type of bond with the girls.
11:48 AM: Daniel asked Ameerah if she has any suggestions in terms of reasoning that he could use for putting people up. Ameerah pointed out that the strong physical players are the ones that they will have the most trouble with down the line. She added that strong competitors volunteered to be have-nots, and did so for a reason. She listed Joseph, Kyle, Michael and Monte. Ameerah let Daniel know that she will have his back and she can get the girls to have his back as well if he decides to go after a strong player. When Ameerah was asked who she is vibing with, she said Alyssa and Paloma. Daniel said they are both cool. Ameerah said she likes Brittany as well. Both have their doubts about Indy, while Ameerah also questioned Taylor since she said that her and the guys in the have-not room were talking but got quiet when she came around. As for nominations, the idea of Michael going up next to one of the strong guys was discussed, with another strong guy going up as the replacement nominee should one be needed.
12:04 PM: Daniel told Nicole that he is going to ride it out to the end with her. Nicole said that she is down. They talked about how they were instantly drawn to one another and felt good vibes.
12:24 PM: The backyard was open. The houseguests were informed that they would have it for two hours this afternoon.
1:16 PM: Daniel spoke to Pooch about the Backyard Boss twist. He wondered if it would be possible that the three people Pooch gave backstage passes to would have to compete in order to see who would be nominated, thus making it easy on him as he would not have to decide who to nominate. Pooch let Daniel know that he can compete next week and therefore he can have his back if he wins.
1:18 PM: Kyle asked Pooch if he should talk to Daniel. Pooch suggested that he do so. Pooch pointed out that Daniel seems cool but he could also see him deciding to get the strong guys out. Pooch then asked Kyle which girls they should bring in with them. Kyle suggested Nicole as she is strong and they need people who can win competitions.
2:44 PM: Nicole asked Daniel if anyone has come up to him yet. Daniel said Ameerah is the only one. He said she is cool and showed initiative by coming to him. They both agreed it’s bothering them that nobody is talking game. Daniel and Nicole reassured each other that they will stick together until the end. Daniel gave them the name “The Rogue Rats”.
3:52 PM: Brittany and Turner discussed riding it out until the end together. Brittany said she thinks that they need to be careful with the girls, which Turner agreed with.
4:05 PM: Pooch told Kyle you can see that Daniel and Nicole are together. As for Taylor, he said she is smart but she is not someone who is afraid to speak her mind. Pooch explained that he doesn’t want to get tied up with her, and he thinks that she needs to go sooner than later. Kyle brought up Monte as someone that he likes. Pooch agreed and compared him to Xavier from last season. Kyle floated the idea of a guys alliance, also bringing up Joseph as a potential ally.
4:15 PM: Terrance told Jasmine that he is worried for nominations. Jasmine didn’t think that he would have anything to worry about with Daniel this week. Terrance brought up that he and Jasmine, as married people, need to stick together since they are fighting for something more than some of the others in the house.
4:57 PM: Daniel let Pooch know that he is trying to get the least amount of blood on his hands. He mentioned that he is trying to vibe with everyone but no one is really coming up to the HoH room.
5:01 PM: Turner told Daniel and Pooch he thinks the easiest route to take is to nominate someone you don’t feel threatened by, as you wont have to worry as much if they stick around. Turner dropped Michael’s name as an option. He clarified that they all love Michael but they would not be threatened by him. The three guys then talked about creating an alliance together. Alyssa’s name was brought up as someone who they could bring in at a later time depending on how things play out with the twist.
5:21 PM: Jasmine let Ameerah know that Terrance thinks he is the target this week. She said he tried to form an alliance with her but she was not having it and acted like she didn’t hear it.
5:26 PM: Ameerah told Brittany that something is up with Taylor since she has been hanging out with the girls more today. Ameerah said she wants Taylor out but does not know if she is the bigger threat or one of the trainers. Ameerah added that it’s too bad they couldn’t get Taylor on their side as they need all the numbers that they can get, but she does not trust her and thinks that it’s too late. Ameerah feared that Taylor would go back to the guys.
5:34 PM: Paloma told Jasmine she thinks that a guy needs to go first. Jasmine suggested that getting a guy out would be beneficial to Daniel’s game as well. Paloma said she can convince him to do it. She followed that up by saying it’s a touchy subject to bring up Taylor’s relationship with the guys, as the main goal is to get guys on the block. Ameerah joined them sand said she believes that Michael will be one of the nominees since Daniel was talking about him going up next to a strong player.
6:21 PM: Alyssa, Monte, Paloma and Pooch talked about working together with Kyle and another girl as a group of six. It was mentioned that they could bring a couple of others in as side pieces. Terrance was named as someone who they could potentially work with without aligning with him.
7:34 PM: Jasmine told Ameerah that she is scared about what is going to happen this week. Ameerah encouraged her to talk to Daniel. She said she hopes that Daniel is going to nominate two guys. She brought up that Monte and Pooch are definitely together since she walked in on them whispering.
11:27 PM: Alyssa told Ameerah and Indy she is concerned since she has not talked to Daniel yet. They suggested that she wait until the morning, pointing out that she cannot even be nominated this week. Alyssa worried that it’s too hard to talk to him since people are always up by the HoH room. Ameerah said she has been pushing for the stronger male players to go. Alyssa agreed that they have to push him to get rid of a strong player but people usually play it safe with the first HoH.
11:34 PM: Paloma headed up to the HoH room. She told Daniel that he is in a tough spot. Daniel let Paloma know that he loves her, thinks she is cool, and he vibes with her. Paloma told Daniel that Jasmine is super sweet and loyal. As for Taylor, Paloma said she cannot trust her whatsoever. She added that Taylor hasn’t taken initiative to be a girls girl. Paloma said Ameerah is a huge fan as is Michael. She said that she vibes with Ameerah. The two agreed to look out for each other moving forward. They talked about feeling good with Ameerah and Nicole as well.
12:03 AM: Jasmine told Daniel she wants to open the communication line and let him know that she is there if he needs her. Daniel said everyone is so nice and it’s hard to narrow it down at this point. Jasmine said she appreciates that he has taken the time to get to know each person. They agreed that they like Paloma.
12:09 AM: Paloma told Brittany that she spoke to Daniel and he is such a good guy. Paloma said Daniel is not concerned about them since he cannot nominate them. Brittany said Daniel will want them to stay even if they end up on the block, because he will want one of his own nominees to go.
12:19 AM: Paloma let Alyssa and Ameerah know that Daniel is so sweet. Paloma said she suggested putting Michael up next to his target. Alyssa said that Kyle, Monte and Pooch are the ones that he needs to target but they aren’t sure that he will do it.
12:42 AM: Alyssa, Monte and Paloma met up in the storage room. They discussed the need to lock in the six person alliance that they talked about earlier in the night. Ameerah’s name was brought up as the other girl that they should bring in.
12:51 AM: Paloma told Alyssa she thinks that Joe is the easiest target right now. Alyssa didn’t think that they should bring it up to Monte again, seeing as Monte appears to like Joe. She preferred that they make it seem as though it was Daniel’s idea.
1:10 AM: Paloma let Kyle know that they want to make a six person alliance with him, Pooch, Alyssa and Ameerah. Kyle said that he is down.
1:18 AM: Daniel asked Michael what he would do in his position. Michael said Pooch took the easiest way of choosing people already, so he might choose nominees based on who didn’t put in an effort to talk to him. Michael promised that he would not put Daniel up if he wins HoH, if Daniel keeps him safe this week. Michael said he would like to play with people who are there to play the game.
2:00 AM: Daniel spoke to the cameras. He said he thinks Kyle and Monte already have a final two deal. He thinks Brittany will be a free agent for the entire summer, as will Terrance. Daniel added that Ameerah is cool and he is so glad that she talked to him today.
2:39 AM: Pooch and Turner spoke to Daniel about potentially bringing in Kyle and Monte to work with them. Turner pointed out that they would be likely to win HoH. They talked about making the guys feel like it was their idea to create the alliance.
3:05 AM: Daniel spoke to the cameras. He said he does think it’s a good idea to bring Kyle and Monte in but he needs to make sure that the alliance doesn’t get too big too soon. Daniel thinks that Pooch knows the game fairly well but he has to reel him in sometimes. Daniel said that the easiest way out this week might be to nominate Michael and Terrance.
