Big Brother 24 Day 3 - Daniel nominates Michael and Terrance for eviction
July 8, 2022
8:51 AM: Daniel filled Nicole in on the alliance that he made with Pooch and Turner. Daniel laughed and said Turner wondered if it was the first alliance that has been made, but it was after he and Nicole had made theirs.
9:19 AM: Kyle let Daniel know that he would like to work with him. Daniel said he loves Kyle’s energy and does not want him to be afraid to pull him aside and talk to him. Kyle promised Daniel that he is 100% safe with him if he wins HoH next week.
9:57 AM: Paloma let Michael know she has talked to everyone and told them he needs to be in the final six alliance. She said that they are going with the name “Mamba” for Kobe since it’s the 24th season. She said the other alliance members are Kyle, Monte, Alyssa and Ameerah.
10:49 AM: Michael pointed out to Daniel that the screen says “Nominations Today”. Daniel had not yet seen it.
11:06 AM: Monte told Daniel that he will not be looking in his direction next week if Daniel keeps him safe this week. Daniel said his goal was to talk to Monte today because he doesn’t want to do the whole thing where you get a strong male out first. He said that is too aggressive for no reason. Monte offered to use the veto in any way that Daniel wants him to should he happen to win it.
11:15 AM: Daniel told Joseph that he is going through who to put up and his biggest thing is that he does not want to go after a strong male, as he is 6’3 and doesn’t want that target on him next week. Joseph asked that Daniel take into consideration that the have-nots have been through a lot. He said that he wants to vouch for them. Joseph added that the have-nots, as strong males, saw Daniel struggling and that’s why they volunteered.
11:29 AM: Daniel spoke to the cameras, saying he trusts Joseph and Monte when they say that they will not put him up. He clarified that he thinks they are being honest for now. Daniel said he really wants to put Michael up but Michael did talk game to him so he can’t use that as an excuse.
11:42 AM: Ameerah checked in with Monte to ask if Pooch is no longer going to be brought into their six person alliance. Monte confirmed that Michael is in rather than Pooch. Monte said he thought that he could work with Pooch but he is hard to tame. The two agreed that they have a solid six. Ameerah suggested that Monte spend less time with Kyle since it’s easy to assume that they are together.
11:54 AM: Daniel let Nicole know that he is ready to cut the emotions out when it comes time to nominate, but he has been playing up the emotional side a bit when talking to people. Daniel said he is trying to keep a target off of himself for next week by playing the angle that he has the backs of the strong males because he is one too. Daniel said his strategy is to nominate weak people who have talked the least amount of game to him. Daniel revealed that he is considering, Michael, Taylor and Terrance. Nicole said that she is close with Taylor and she has been working on getting her to open up. Daniel said he may have to put her up if she does not talk to him, but he does think that the easiest route would be nominating Michael and Terrance.
12:17 PM: Ameerah let Daniel know she still thinks that the have-nots are the threats. Daniel said that Michael would be the easiest of them to put on the block since he does not want a tall and fit guy after him for the rest of the summer, or else he is screwed. Ameerah disagreed and listed off all of the people that Daniel could get on his side if he were to make a move like that.
12:38 PM: Alyssa spoke to Daniel. While she cannot be nominated, she said she wants to make sure that he knows she has his back. Alyssa called him the best first HoH that they could have had. After she left the room, Daniel spoke to the cameras and said he is not dumb and that Alyssa is using her looks which is working. However he added that he does think she is cool and he would like to keep her around.
12:50 PM: Jasmine let Daniel know that she has his back next week. She said that he and Paloma are her top people. Daniel said Jasmine was not even a thought to be put on the block.
1:29 PM: Daniel explained to Indy that he fears for his safety coming out of his HoH week. He asked that she help him out for next week. Indy said she is going to protect everyone who she really likes, and he is one of those people.
1:30 PM: Joseph, Kyle, Monte and Pooch met in the have-not room. They agreed that they should be good when it comes to nominations. Turner joined them. Pooch pointed out that there are five of them that can fight for HoH next week. The guys discussed that they are playing without egos and sticking together.
1:40 PM: Daniel told Taylor that he really likes her and loves when her personality comes out. He said she is not on his radar but he asks that she have his back next week. Taylor assured Daniel that she will not be coming after him. She also said that she is willing to gun for the veto to help him out.
1:44 PM: Pooch and Turner caught Daniel up to speed in terms of their talk with the guys. They reiterated that their three is solid but they will work with others as well.
2:13 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
4:31 PM: Feeds returned. Daniel nominated Michael and Terrance for eviction.
4:33 PM: Michael told Monte that he was surprised by Daniel’s reasoning since he talked to him last night and then Daniel ended the conversation. Paloma reassured Michael that their “Mamba” alliance has him and the plan is bulletproof. Michael said he is not going to freak out or get paranoid since there is still a veto to be played.
4:42 PM: Daniel told Michael that he was on the verge of tears making that move. Michael said it doesn’t change anything in terms of how he wants to play the game, so it does not mean that he will come after Daniel if he stays. Daniel explained that other people came up to him today to double check on things, which made him feel more secure.
4:56 PM: Daniel told Terrance that his heart is breaking. Terrance told him not to feel that way. Daniel stressed that Terrance is not a target in his eyes. He said he hopes that Terrance wins the veto. Terrance said he plans to do so and he thinks that Michael can be a threat due to his memory.
5:04 PM: Daniel spoke to the cameras, saying Terrance is so sweet and he really does want him to stay. Daniel figures that Terrance will put him up if he wins but he said he respects it.
5:14 PM: Monte and Paloma discussed that Mamba has the votes to save Michael. Paloma said all she has to do is talk to Daniel since she has him wrapped around her finger, and he did what she said in terms of putting Michael up as a pawn. Paloma clarified that it happened prior to her bringing Michael into Mamba, so she feels bad.
5:31 PM: Ameerah told Michael she thinks that he has more protection than Terrance since he has a solid alliance in Mamba. Michael said it was a relief when Paloma approached him about that. Ameerah said she is obviously going to vote to save Michael. Michael thinks that getting Nicole would go a long way with getting Daniel since he believes that they are very close.
6:10 PM: Ameerah told Paloma that she was talking to Brittany who suggested that they made need to bring a guy into their girl group. Ameerah said Brittany suggested Michael. The girls were happy about that. Paloma said Michael is chilling since the girls will all be voting to keep him. Paloma said she is ride or die with Mamba. She suggested using the other girls in their girl group as their pawns.
8:42 PM: Turner suggested to Alyssa that the two of them could potentially form something with Pooch and Paloma since they are close to them. Alyssa agreed. Turner said it could become something powerful. Alyssa added that it wouldn’t be expected either.
9:11 PM: Pooch approached Daniel to ask what he should be telling people in terms of what he thinks about the two nominees. Daniel said it’s best not to lean one way or the other until they see what happens with the veto competition. Daniel said he personally likes Terrance a little bit more. Pooch said he has been a little bit closer to Terrance since they sleep in the same room.
9:57 PM: Pooch and Turner discussed the hierarchy of their alliances. The two of them are at the top, followed by their three with Daniel, their “Oasis” alliance with Daniel, Kyle and Monte, their Oasis alliance plus Joseph, and then the potential new alliance with Alyssa and Paloma.
10:24 PM: Alyssa told Paloma that they will have to save Michael this week. Paloma said she thinks a lot of people are on the same page with that. Paloma talked about how they should try using the Cookout’s strategy by having each person in their six have a side person outside of the alliance.
12:09 AM: Joseph asked Monte if he knows what Daniel wants in terms of the vote. Monte said he isn’t sure if Daniel has thought that far, adding that he may be indifferent. Joseph said he feels for both of them but he feels for Michael being a have-not. Joseph thinks that Michael sees the have-nots as his people.
12:48 AM: Brittany asked Taylor how solid she is with the other girls. Taylor said she thinks the girls are nervous about all of the guys being together, so they are trying to figure out what the guys are doing. Taylor said she thinks none of them want to rally people together until they figure out what the guys are doing. Brittany said she would love to see a girl demonstrate physical power at some point when it makes sense for their game.
