Big Brother 24 Day 4 - Michael wins the Power of Veto
July 9, 2022
7:54 AM: Terrance asked Daniel what he is thinking about in the event that he wins the veto and takes himself off of the block. Daniel said he doesn’t want to think about it until he sees who wins the veto. Terrance said he plans to ask for a volunteer if he gets houseguest’s choice. In the event that nominations stay the same, Daniel said he would be rooting for Terrance. Terrance said he would be willing to build trust by deciding not to use the veto on himself, allowing Daniel to avoid getting more blood on his hands. Daniel reiterated that no one is a target but he wants Terrance to stay. He said he would have to put someone super likeable up if he got word that Terrance was not going to stay.
8:06 AM: Paloma told Michael that people are underestimating how big of a player he is in the game. She said Joseph mentioned there is no way that Michael would ever work with Kyle and Monte, and Daniel said he doesn’t seem to talk to many people. Paloma said Michael is locked in with the girls and with Mamba.
8:13 AM: Michael spoke to the cameras. He said he doesn’t know who to pick for the veto. He mentioned Joseph as an option though he wasn’t sure that he would use it since he may fear that Monte would go up, but nobody else is eager to play. Michael was not happy that Daniel said he put him up because he is a weak player. Michael said Daniel has no idea what he is capable of and he would love to send him packing. Michael mentioned that Taylor is the biggest wildcard to him. He said he would love to work with her and trust her but he isn’t sure if it’s in the cards. He added that his side isn’t too hyped about her but he has to do what is best for him.
8:39 AM: Turner told Terrance he loves hanging out with him and he doesn’t think that the has anything to worry about this week. He explained that the dudes are all boys and have been saying that Terrance should stay this week. Terrance asked Turner if he can pick him if he gets houseguest’s choice. Turner said yeah and told Terrance that he would gun for the veto.
8:43 AM: Feeds went down to pick players for the veto competition.
9:12 AM: Feeds returned. The veto players are Daniel, Michael, Terrance, Ameerah, Indy and Turner. Kyle is hosting.
9:21 AM: Turner said he assumes that Daniel wants to keep nominations the same, which Daniel confirmed. Turner said he genuinely believes that Terrance is safe so he is not going to take him down if he wins. Turner mentioned having heard that the girls like Michael, so they should not push too hard to the girls to evict him.
9:29 AM: Daniel told Terrance he thinks that Michael will come for him, so he wants Terrance to stay and will see where the girls stand so he knows how the votes will go. They discussed that Terrance has Nicole and Turner already.
9:34 AM: Ameerah let Daniel know that she is willing to do what he wants. She asked if he would be mad if the veto is used. He explained that he does not want to get more blood on his hands and does not want to risk a backdoor. While Ameerah briefly suggested that a strong guy would go if put up, she eventually said best case scenario is that Daniel wins the veto, keeps things the same, and she can keep the blood off of her hands.
9:47 AM: Daniel told Nicole that he would like to keep the nominations the same, and he gets along with Terrance way more than he does with Michael. Nicole said Terrance has been talking to her and suggested that they look out for each other and potentially bring Taylor in as well.
9:52 AM: Daniel asked Indy what she would want to do with the veto if she were to win it. Indy said she would have to think with her heart at that point. She added that she does not want to get too emotionally involved right now as that would put more pressure on her.
9:54 AM: Turner let Terrance know that if he wins and doesn’t take him down, it’s because he knows that he is staying. Turner said if he has any doubts, he would use it on him. Turner reassured Terrance that he has his votes as well as the votes of some of the guys.
10:17 AM: Michael spoke to the cameras about how he is feeling good and he will use his anger and rage to motivate him in the veto competition. Michael said he wants to know what the backstage twist is since he really wants to keep Brittany safe but Alyssa and Paloma may be better for his game right now due to their alliance.
10:23 AM: Brittany encouraged Michael to visualize them celebrating in the storage room after a veto win. They discussed that Daniel doesn’t realize that he is helping the strong guys out only to be the first one they would cut down the line. Brittany told Michael that she saw something special in him and hopes that he saw the same in her. Michael said he absolutely did.
10:48 AM: After a chat with Kyle, Daniel spoke to the cameras and said he really doesn’t want him going home right now. He said the same for Monte, adding that they would go hard after him if he made a move against them. Daniel suggested that week six would be a good time to make a move.
11:42 AM: Nicole asked Daniel what he would do in the event that Michael wins the veto. Daniel said that he would be pissed. He said he doesn’t know what he would do but he would have to rethink a huge threat, though everyone would have to be on board. Daniel said he doesn’t even want to think about it until he has to.
12:08 PM: Feeds went down for the veto competition.
3:32 PM: Feeds returned. Michael won the Power of Veto.
3:33 PM: Daniel spoke to Taylor, telling her that the decision is to go after a big threat or put someone even more likeable that Terrance up in order to send Terrance home. Daniel feared that if he went the route of nominating a strong guy, they may stay and then he is screwed. Taylor suggested that he could tell them that the goal is for them to stay.
3:38 PM: Alyssa told Paloma that she plans to nominate Daniel and Nicole if she wins HoH. She said that Taylor would be the replacement nominee if one is needed. Paloma brought up that Daniel was a poor sport during the competition, saying that Indy had cheated.
3:42 PM: Paloma told Indy that they need to get Daniel on the block next week. She mentioned the comment that he had made about Indy cheating. Indy said she likes Daniel, they were in the middle of a competition, and Paloma shouldn’t do anything because of her.
3:55 PM: Up in the HoH room, Brittany shared many observations about the houseguests to Daniel and Nicole. She said she has no one and is taking a chance on them by sharing the intel that she has gathered while being backstage this week. When it came to Terrance, she pointed out that he was very upset and seems to be crumbling, meaning that it would be easy to get him to implode should Daniel decide to target him. When Daniel asked for her thoughts on Taylor, Brittany said she is there to play and she is not liked by the girls. In particular, she said that Jasmine and Paloma do not like Taylor.
4:18 PM: Jasmine brought up that Daniel is now stuck between a rock and a hard place. Ameerah said he should nominate someone from his alliance as a pawn. Jasmine argued that he needs to put up a threat. Ameerah agreed that those are his two options.
4:31 PM: Terrance spoke to Daniel. They agreed that there are bigger threats in the house than Terrance. They discussed that if a big threat goes up, that person has to go home. Terrance said this is a perfect scenario for Daniel to make a move.
4:33 PM: Ameerah and Nicole discussed a potential plan to get Daniel to put Joseph up as a pawn, only to then convince him that Joseph should be the one to go. Nicole did not want to flip the vote behind Daniel’s back, so she would like for him to be in the know if it comes down to that.
4:40 PM: Turner informed Daniel that the guys have already talked things over and they have the votes to get Taylor up. Turner said that nobody would be mad about it if she goes up. Turner said he is tight with Alyssa and Paloma, and he knows that even they would be down with that move. Daniel said the other person who he was considering is Indy. Turner said that she could be left for next week, as getting out a bigger competitor like Taylor. Turner admitted that he is intimidated by the pageant stuff as she knows what she is doing.
5:02 PM: Nicole brought it to Daniel’s attention that Joseph had pretty much put himself out there as being okay with being a pawn at one point, so he has that option available. Nicole added that the first name out of Ameerah’s mouth was Joseph. Daniel said the problem is that his alliance of Pooch and Turner have already got Joseph, Kyle and Monte on board with voting however he wants. Daniel then talked about Turner’s pitch for Taylor to go up. Nicole said that Taylor has their backs. Daniel agreed that they could use her as an ally, and then they can leave it up to the girls to take Taylor out later. Daniel threw Indy’s name out there as an alternate option.
5:41 PM: Daniel let Monte know that the first person who came to mind for him was Indy. Monte said that she is a wildcard. As for Taylor, Monte said he isn’t sure that she is one to dig deep and make connections, so he doesn’t know how many people would be fighting for her to stay if she were to go up. Before wrapping things up, Daniel reassured Monte that he and Kyle will not be going on the block.
6:29 PM: Daniel asked Jasmine how she feels about Indy. Jasmine said she doesn’t talk much, so she isn’t sure if she doesn’t know the game or just doesn’t want to talk to anyone. Jasmine added that Indy is not someone who she would miss if she were to go. Daniel then asked about Taylor. Jasmine said she is split on her. She said that she didn’t have a preference of one over the other when it comes to Indy and Taylor. Daniel said that he isn’t leaning one way or the other at this point either.
6:50 PM: Daniel reassured Kyle that he is not going to backdoor a strong male. He asked for Kyle’s thoughts on Indy. Kyle said that Indy would be his number one or two choice to go up. When asked about Taylor, Kyle said that she would be his other choice. He explained that Taylor is the easier option to get out since everyone would vote her out if she goes up.
7:34 PM: Daniel asked Brittany if there is anyone that she doesn’t see opening up to her to move forward with. Brittany said Indy. Daniel admitted that he has been considering her.
7:55 PM: Pooch explained to Daniel that if Taylor doesn’t go now, people are going to be scared to put her up because she might make people uncomfortable. Pooch said that Daniel could sell it as a house decision, and he would be willing to put his hand up and say that he was on board with it if Taylor questioned anything.
8:17 PM: Daniel asked Indy who she wouldn’t be upset about leaving. Indy said the person that she connects the least with is Taylor. Daniel let her know that she is not alone in that. Indy said Turner’s name as well.
8:32 PM: Daniel told the cameras that he needs to get his Taylor talk out of the way since he is now leaning towards nominating her.
8:41 PM: Taylor offered Daniel protection for next week, saying that she is going to publicly make sure that he is protected. She added that she feels as though they are building good game trust. Taylor talked about how it wouldn’t be a good move to put Indy up since no one would vote her out. She suggested that Joseph could be a good option. Taylor asked if her name has come up. Daniel told her that it has come up in a sense of people wish they could get to know her more.
9:08 PM: Ameerah told Daniel that if he goes the route of taking out a threat, Joseph could be a good choice. She said she doesn’t know if he could get Kyle or Monte out at this point. Ameerah said she is indifferent to Indy and she has not talked game with Taylor. Daniel revealed that those are the two people he is considering. Ameerah said she would lean towards targeting Taylor out of those two.
10:08 PM: Daniel informed Alyssa and Paloma that he thinks he wants Taylor gone. The girls said that they support the decision. Compared to Indy, Alyssa said it would be better to get Taylor out since Indy is easier to manipulate. Paloma agreed that they should get Taylor out first. She explained that Taylor scares her and everyone.
