Big Brother 25 Day 10 - Hisam nominates Cameron and Reilly
August 11, 2023
9:46 AM: Hisam told Felicia he is thinking of nominating Cameron next to Reilly with Reilly being his target. He wants Cameron on the block because he would likely save her if given the chance to do so. Felicia asked who the replacement nominee would be if Reilly wins. Hisam said it would be Matt. If the veto is used on Reilly, Hisam said they would then have to send Cameron home.
10:01 AM: Reilly told Jag she doesn’t even know what to say to Hisam because if she were him, she would target herself.
10:38 AM: Jared was shown on the memory wall screen. He was briefly able to communicate with the houseguests. He told them that he does not know when he will see them again.
10:54 AM: Hisam asked Cory for his thoughts on nominations. Cory revealed that he feels close with Cirie, Izzy and Jared. While Cory admitted that he previously felt he owed something to Reilly for saving him, he said he has been hearing that she is after Hisam and Izzy which is a non-negotiable for him. Cory mentioned that he likely would have nominated America and Jag. Hisam asked for Cory’s thoughts on Cameron. Cory said they talk a lot but Cameron is all over the place and he does not trust him. However Cory said he does not think that Cameron would nominate him. Hisam asked who Cory would target if Reilly were to leave. He said Jag is the person that he has no relationship with. Cory said he could see a path in which he works with Cirie, Hisam, Izzy and Jared moving forward. Hisam said that’s a reasonable group. Cory assured Hisam that he would not have to worry if he wins HoH any time soon. He added that he will not use the veto if Hisam does not want him to, even if it’s Reilly up there.
11:09 AM: Hisam admitted to Cameron that he is worried about Reilly saying his name. As for Cameron, Hisam said he is concerned about him because he feels the need to protect Reilly. Cameron said he knows there is no way that he can save her. Hisam said he is considering putting Cameron up next to Reilly because he would not be able to protect her. Hisam added that it would prevent Cameron from being put into an emotional position where he has to decide. Cameron said Hisam would save him from having to feel like an awful person. Hisam reassured Cameron that Reilly is the target. However he noted that Cameron would be “going away” if it comes back to him that he is sharing information. They discussed that they could work together in the mid game since they are both strong competitors.
11:21 AM: Hisam told Jag he knows about the eight and he knows that Reilly mentioned him as a target. Hisam asked what part Jag had in that. Jag stated that he would not put Hisam up and that he has told Reilly as much. The two discussed that they want to show that brown people can work together rather than always getting pitted against each other. Hisam asked what Jag would do with the veto if Reilly were to be nominated. Jag said he would like to use it on her but he is there to work with Hisam. Jag added that he will leave nominations the same if Hisam wants that.
11:42 AM: Hisam told America he thinks that she is fantastic and that she will be a strong competitor especially in endurance comps. They talked about the potential of working together moving forward. Hisam asked about America’s relationship with Reilly. America said it is mostly through Blue and she is not super close with Reilly. America thinks she is on the outskirts of the group of eight, which Hisam agreed with. As for Cameron, America said she is not close with the guys at all and she would have considered nominating people like Cameron, Cory or Red had she won.
11:59 AM: Matt told Hisam that his game has not been the best thus far as it’s tough for him to talk game when he cannot hear well. Matt explained that he is missing a lot of the talks in big groups due to that. Matt said he wanted to win HoH to have the ability to talk one on one with everyone for that reason. Hisam asked Matt about his allegiance to Blue, Jag and Reilly. Matt said they hang out a lot. Hisam said he has heard that they have a named alliance, which Matt said he does not know the name of because he cannot hear. Hisam asked Matt how he feels with him. Matt said he feels secure with Hisam and thinks that they could form a group of three or four. Hisam was open to the idea. He then let Matt know that Reilly is his target. Matt said he is wanting to show his trust in Hisam by not telling her that. When asked if he would use the veto on Reilly, Matt said it would depend on who else is on the block because he is close with her and does a lot of interpreting for him when he cannot hear.
12:22 PM: Feeds went down.
1:58 PM: Feeds returned. Jared is back in the house. He had to choose someone to save and send to the nether region. He chose Jag.
1:59 PM: Mecole told Hisam that her top choices for nominations would be Cameron and Matt. She mentioned that Reilly would have to choose between the dad and the potential boyfriend. Hisam said he is debating between Cameron, Matt and Reilly and he thinks backdooring is unfair and thinks people deserve a shot at saving themselves. Hisam talked about his plan to nominate Cameron and Reilly since Cameron would likely save Reilly if he is not on the block. Mecole said she would be okay with Cameron and Reilly on the block.
2:12 PM: Hisam asked Reilly for her thoughts. She said she wants to start over with a clean slate. She added that she would love to rebuild with Hisam and Izzy but she understands if that cant happen. Hisam said she is the only person who has been naming names, and while he gets why it happens he would have to put her up or else it would look weird. Hisam made it clear that he would not backdoor her, giving the shot to play in the veto competition. Hisam said this is a way for them to start over if she wins the veto and stays in the house.
2:48 PM: Feeds returned after being down for 9 minutes. The memory wall photos are now on display.
2:56 PM: Matt asked Reilly if she is good. She said not at all. Reilly said she will be going home this week unless she wins the veto. They were confused as to why Jared would have saved Jag. Reilly said Jared’s explanation was that he didn’t think she was going up, to which she replied that he is being lied to. Reilly asked Matt if he would use the veto on her if he doesn’t go on the block. Matt said he would but that would make him the target for next week.
3:16 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
5:06 PM: Feeds returned. Hisam nominated Cameron and Reilly for eviction.
5:07 PM: Blue reassured Reilly that she is not going to go home this week. Blue figures that Cory or Matt would go up if Reilly comes off of the block. They both agreed that they do not want Matt to go either. Reilly worried that people would be too scared to use the veto. Blue swore that she would use it on Reilly if she wins it.
5:09 PM: Jared spoke with Hisam to get clarification on what happened with nominations because he said he had expected Matt to go up based on their last conversation about it. Hisam said Matt would be his replacement nominee in the event that Reilly comes down. They discussed that Jared will be Hisam’s pick to play in the veto competition if he gets houseguest’s choice.
5:20 PM: Cirie told Reilly she figures that Cameron is the target since he came downstairs and told them everything about the group upstairs. Cirie let Reilly know that she will be voting to evict Cameron if the nominations stay the same. Reilly said she wishes that Jared had sent her to the nether region. Cirie explained that this works out since Jared still owes her, so she can get his vote if she stays on the block. Cirie said Reilly will have her, Cory, Felicia and Jared. Reilly added that she has Blue and Matt as well.
5:37 PM: Jared asked Cameron what happened to get to this point during the day that he was out of the house. Cameron explained that Hisam basically saved him from having to be put in a position where he has to choose whether or not to use the veto on Reilly. Cameron said he wasn’t going to but this allows him to save face. Jared told Cameron that he will have the votes to stay even if he doesn’t win the veto.
5:46 PM: Matt spoke to Reilly about using the veto on her. He said he would have to make a good case as to why he is doing so that nobody would come after him for it next week. He mentioned stressing that Reilly is the first person that made him feel comfortable. Reilly said they are going to have to start over if she makes it through this week, seeing as she doesn’t know what is going on with the eight anymore.
6:22 PM: America spoke to Reilly. They went over the potential votes. America said Reilly has nothing to worry about.
6:29 PM: Jared told Blue that Hisam is going to pick him to play in the veto competition, and he would have to leave nominations the same. Blue said she is going to use the veto on Reilly if she wins it. Jared pointed out that doing so would be bad for Blue’s relationship with Hisam. Blue asked if Hisam wants Reilly out this week, which Jared said he does.
7:00 PM: Cameron told Hisam he has come to terms with what needs to be done and with what his role in the plan needs to be. Hisam promised that there aren’t going to be any surprises. He said the plan is the plan.
7:04 PM: Reilly asked Jared who the target is. Jared said he doesn’t think anyone knows at this point. Reilly said Cirie told her that she has her vote. Jared said he doesn’t think that it’s going to be unanimous this week.
7:50 PM: Mecole said she thinks that Reilly needs to be the number one option for this week’s target. Izzy agreed. Mecole brought up that Reilly is the nucleus of the core and is the one holding the side together.
8:05 PM: Feeds went down.
8:29 PM: Feeds returned. Jag returned to the house from the nether region.
8:39 PM: Jag checked in with Jared to see why he chose to send him to the nether region. Jared said at the time he was thinking that he was eligible to be nominated, so he if he did something that went against Hisam’s wishes, he was worried that he would go on the block. Jared added that he thought Cameron and Matt were going on the block, so he was surprised by Reilly going up. Jag asked what he told others as to why he chose him. Jared said he let them know that he is comfortable with Jag and would like to work with him moving forward.
8:47 PM: Jag mentioned he doesn’t understand how Hisam found out about the alliance. Reilly said Cameron flipped, saying the alliance was going to implode so he was going to go make friends on the other side just in case. Reilly admitted that she was not supposed to share that. Jared asked why she didn’t tell them sooner. Reilly said she didn’t know if it was common knowledge. Jag said the eight is done and they have to make that clear to everyone so they are looked at as free agents available to be picked up by anyone.
9:09 PM: Jared told Matt that Hisam will put him up if Reilly comes down. Matt asked if Hisam said that. Jared said he just knows. Jared added that if Matt uses the veto on Reilly, it’ll probably be him going up. Matt wondered if it could possibly be Cory since Hisam was after him last week, but Jared said he has moved away from that.
9:37 PM: Matt let Reilly know that Jared thinks they will put him up if she comes down. Reilly said he would be safe over Cameron. Reilly pointed out that Matt would be safe if he wins the veto and takes her down. Matt said they would then lose Jared, which Reilly didn’t agree with. She figured that Cory might go up.
