Big Brother 25 Day 18 - Jag wins the Power of Veto
August 19, 2023
8:37 AM: Felicia told Blue that Red is the only one she didn’t fill in on the plan to backdoor Hisam, seeing as she was not sure how close they were. She explained that Red asked her to talk last night and then baited her and she took the bait. Felicia said somebody told Red about the plan. While Felicia was between Bowie and Cameron for who would have told Red, she incorrectly assumed that it was Bowie. Felicia said she plans to ask Bowie when she told Red in order to gauge her reaction.
8:53 AM: Feeds went down for the veto player pick.
9:22 AM: Feeds returned. The veto players are Felicia, Cameron, Jag, Cory, Izzy and Red.
9:50 AM: Cirie told Felicia that Hisam is going to lose it. Felicia said he will hate her but she cannot worry about it. Cirie pointed out that it’s a game. She expects Hisam’s heart to drop when someone says that they are using the Power of Veto.
9:55 AM: Jared told Felicia he is happy with the player pick. Felicia said it could not have gone any more perfectly. She added that Hisam is going home and he doesn’t even know it, as he came up to her and said she wont have to worry about anyone using the veto.
9:59 AM: Cirie told Felicia that Jag is the new Cameron in that he will go up as the pawn every time. Felicia said they can put Cameron and Jag up and then backdoor Red. Cirie said she almost wants Jag gone before Cameron at this point. Felicia said Bowie and Red are snakes who want to stay in the middle.
10:02 AM: Cirie warned Jared not to talk to Izzy about the end game yet because she gets weird and emotional about it. Jared said sometimes he feels like it might be easier to take Izzy out since he cannot keep dealing with that. Cirie believes that people would look at Izzy funny if she were to expose them at this point, seeing as she knew the whole time and didn’t say anything. Cirie suggested that they ride it out with Izzy. Jared said could just get her out and not have to worry about offending her. He questioned what they need Izzy for other than to make sure that she doesn’t tell on them. Cirie said Izzy is one of the only people she trusts, with the others being Felicia and Jared.
11:39 AM: Feeds went down for the veto competition.
2:21 PM: Feeds returned. Jag won the Power of Veto.
2:37 PM: Cirie told Izzy that Red is purposely not performing in competitions. She mentioned that Cameron will shut up if Red is gone. She pointed out that nobody will work with Hisam if he stays, so she asked Izzy to think about that.
2:39 PM: Hisam told Cirie and Izzy that Matt has to go up and out now that Jag has taken himself off of the block. He said they can go after Jag again next week.
2:46 PM: Izzy spoke to the cameras, saying she would love it if Cameron or Red went home but she worried that Cameron and Hisam would be tight if Red left. Izzy said she is too tired to be a part of a flip right now. She said she doesn’t think it’s the right move but she will think about it. She stated that she hates Cameron.
7:33 PM: Izzy spoke to the cameras again. She counted America, Blue, Bowie, Cameron, Jag, Matt and Red as the numbers that the other side would have but she said that she does not want to keep Hisam.
7:37 PM: Cirie and Izzy discussed having Red go on the block instead of Hisam. They talked about Bowie and Mecole spending a lot of time together, speaking on the hammock. Cirie argued that nobody will work with Hisam if he stays, so there is no harm in keeping him. As for Red, she said there is a lot of harm in keeping him. Izzy said she is down with nominating Red.
7:43 PM: Cirie told Felicia that they will be in the minority once Hisam leaves. Izzy said they should let Hisam run his mouth and have him win competitions for them, then blindside the house on Monday by backdooring Red instead. Felicia asked who the group on the other side is. Cirie said it’s Blue, Bowie, Jag, Matt, Mecole and Red. They talked about how each side would have six if they kept Hisam, with Cameron floating in the middle. Izzy said they can talk to Hisam about what they have been observing once Red is on the block. They agreed that nobody else can know about this before the veto ceremony.
7:56 PM: Jared joined Cirie, Felicia and Izzy. Cirie told him she does not know if it’s the smartest move to get Hisam out right now. She suggested that Red would be the better move. Cirie talked about Blue and Jag being all over them yesterday about a seven person alliance and now today they have not heard a word from them. Jared asked why they think the rest of the house is aligning. Cirie said you can feel it in the air. Jared said he feels like Hisam would definitely come after him. He also wondered if the other side would pull Hisam in. Cirie and Izzy said that would not happen. Jared suggested that they give it more time before deciding.
8:16 PM: Cirie told Felicia and Izzy that they could put Mecole up. She stressed that they have to pick the right person to nominate. Cirie figured that the other side would not fight to keep Mecole, so Cameron would stay that way. Izzy mentioned Bowie as an option. Felicia said they should put Bowie up because she is a snake. They all agreed that Hisam needs to stay. Minutes later, America’s name came up as a potential replacement nominee and target. The plan then shifted back to Mecole, though they also considered what would happen if Matt were to go up. Red’s name was brought up once again but they worried that they would not have the votes to take him out.
8:50 PM: Mecole joined Cirie, Felicia and Izzy. Felicia asked her if she thinks that Cameron would get voted out over Matt. She said yes. She said she also thinks that Cameron would go over Blue too. She mentioned that Red would not be a bad option. Felicia asked who the others would vote out in that scenario. Mecole said she thinks it still might be Cameron but it would not be a bad option.
9:23 PM: Bowie told Mecole that she is a bit nervous. Mecole encouraged her to look ahead to next week since this week is already done. She said that once you start flipping out, stuff starts happening, and there is nothing to flip out about right now.
9:33 PM: Bowie let Felicia know that the girls are her priority. Felicia said Mecole has moved to the other side. Bowie was surprised to hear that. Felicia mentioned that Mecole spends all of her time with the other side now. Bowie brought up that The Cookout was a levelheaded alliance and they did not self-implode. Felicia said they would not be taking Hisam out if they played according to their mentality. Felicia asked who a good person to nominate would be. Bowie suggested America because she does not trust her and thinks that she really knows the game.
10:50 PM: Jared let Cory know that the whole game plan might get switched up and that America might go on the block instead of Hisam. Jared said America has been messing up. Even if that were true, Cory said Hisam still needs to go first.
10:55 PM: Bowie, Cirie and Felicia talked about America going on the block. Felicia said she wants to have a meeting on Monday with their alliance and bring Cory and Jared in, saying they are now part of the group as well.
11:05 PM: Felicia informed Cory and Jared that they are officially part of the alliance and she wants them to sit in on their meetings. Felicia talked about how they cannot afford to vote out one of their numbers at this point. Cory argued that America is unlikely to win an HoH at this point. Jared said America and Mecole are not worth voting out. Felicia asked if they agree that it’s not a smart move to get rid of Hisam. Cory said it scares him to leave Hisam in the house with 12 people that knew about a backdoor plan for him. Jared agreed that it was too risky. Cory said he thinks he can sway America to nominate Cameron and Red. Bowie said it’s a good point that keeping Hisam is risky if everyone knew the plan. Felicia asked who told Red about the plan. Cory and Jared said it had to be Cameron.
11:27 PM: Bowie asked what their group will be moving forward. Felicia said her, Bowie, Cirie, Cory, Cameron, Izzy, Jared and Red. Felicia told Bowie, Cirie and Cory she thinks they need to stick with the plan and evict Hisam, and then they solidify that eight once he is gone.
11:32 PM: Felicia suggested to Izzy that they got paranoid into thinking that there were other clusters forming. She also noted that the whole house knowing about the Hisam plan could blow up in their faces if they ended up keeping him.
