Big Brother 25 Day 2 - Reilly wins HoH
August 3, 2023
9:18 AM: Jag and Reilly discussed that they feel good about each other. They agreed that they like America as well. Reilly said she likes Cory, while Jag said he likes Jared and Luke. Jag said they will have to figure out which direction to go in once they see who wins HoH, as it might not be someone that they necessarily feel good about.
9:22 AM: Cirie told Izzy she thinks that Kirsten is scrambling a lot. Izzy agreed and said Kirsten had just approached her to ask if she thinks that she needs to lay low.
10:43 AM: Izzy pointed out that Bowie is a number even though she is clueless. Cirie encouraged Izzy to get Bowie. Izzy said she hasn’t had a good one on one talk with her, but they agreed that Bowie likely isn’t having those with anyone at this point.
11:10 AM: Cirie told Jared that Cameron and Matt don’t seem to talk to her. Cirie said it’s okay if Matt doesn’t given that Jared feels comfortable with him. Cirie worried that Kirsten may know about her and Jared since she asked her if she had said something about having a 24 year old son.
11:27 AM: Feeds went down for the HoH competition.
1:52 PM: Feeds returned. Reilly is the first HoH of the season. She will get to take two of the four nominees off of the block.
2:05 PM: Jared told Cirie and Izzy he thinks that he is solid with Jag and Matt who are close with Reilly. Cirie said to stick with them. Jared doesn’t think that Reilly is close with Cory or Kirsten. Cirie suggested that Jared let Reilly know he will work with her and will not put her up if he wins HoH. The three talked about it being ideal that Cory and Kirsten end up staying on the block.2:16 PM: Kirsten told Cirie that Reilly said she is good but she doesn’t know what that truly means.
2:50 PM: Jared spoke to Luke and Matt about being a solid three within their five person group that includes Kirsten and Reilly. He talked about the three needing to solidify things with someone outside of the group just like the Cookout did. Luke said he feels good about Jag and Reilly. Jared said he likes Blue. They all agreed that they do not trust Cory. Jared then suggested bringing in at least one older person. He mentioned Cirie and Felicia as options, adding that pulling in Cirie would give them Izzy as well.
3:46 PM: Felicia told Reilly she believes that there is one person, Kirsten, who is being paranoid and saying a lot of things. Felicia explained she heard that Kirsten told people she was going to be in a four with them and then went and tried to get in a group of five with the guys as well. Reilly said she has been noticing that Kirsten likes to stir things up.
4:10 PM: Reilly received her HoH room.
4:37 PM: Feeds went down.
6:24 PM: Feeds returned.
6:30 PM: Hisam and Izzy talked about Kirsten causing chaos in the house and being in the middle of everyone’s business. They agreed that they would like to see Cory and Kirsten remain on the block. They talked about Kirsten telling Hisam that the guys are forming something. The two agreed that they should play together moving forward.
6:41 PM: Hisam and Izzy let Mecole know that they would like to work with her. They all said they feel as though people are not talking game with them. When Izzy asked Mecole if she trusts Kirsten, Mecole said Kirsten can talk too much at times, which is dangerous in this game.
6:42 PM: Up in the HoH room, Kirsten pitched to Reilly that she needs two girls in the final two. Kirsten said she has heard that the guys are forming something and she also walked in on a group of them at one point. Kirsten stressed that they will never pick a girl over each other.
7:02 PM: Izzy checked in with Bowie, letting her know that she would like to work with her, Felicia, and Cirie. Bowie said she is down for that.
7:19 PM: Cory told Hisam that Cirie is the sweetest human being and has a reputation of being very good at this because of Survivor. Cory stated that Cirie is loyal and while it’s her thing to charm people, he feels comfortable with her and trusts her a lot.
7:29 PM: Reilly explained to Jared that this HoH scenario could work out in her favour since whoever she saves will then be on her side. They proceeded to discuss who they feel comfortable with. Jag, Luke, Matt, Cirie and Felicia had their names brought up. Jared said he was talking with Luke and Matt, and Luke pointed out that Reilly is good at comps. He suggested that the three of them can team up with Reilly and two other girls. Reilly said she would need Jag to be included, which Jared agreed with. Reilly said it’s her dream to get the numbers by solidifying a group of eight. She listed Cory and Kirsten as two people that she does not see herself working with going forward.
8:13 PM: Izzy cautioned Cirie about Red, saying Hisam told her he heard that Red is the one rallying the guys. They listed their numbers as Bowie, Felicia, Hisam, Jared, Mecole and potentially Blue.
8:22 PM: Reilly filled Blue in on her plan to put together a group of eight. The six people in addition to the two of them are Jared, Luke, Matt, Jag, Cirie and Felicia. Reilly said she just had a really good conversation with Jared, and implied that she is likely going to take him off of the block. Blue said she feels really good about him as well.
9:43 PM: Reilly told Jag that he is her number one person. Jag said the same back to her. They shook on it and Reilly said she can see them sitting at the end next to each other.
9:57 PM: Izzy told Reilly that she would love to work with her. Reilly agreed. Reilly revealed that she would like to see Kirsten go this week. Reilly promised that Izzy is nowhere near being in danger this week. Reilly talked about wanting to have a solid team that she can trust. She named Cirie and Felicia as people who make her feel warm and fuzzy. Reilly suggested that the backup target would have to be Cory in the event that Kirsten were to save herself.
12:17 AM: Reilly reassured Cory that he is not who she wants to leave this week. Cory said he feels like Reilly is his person so far. Reilly said she has a solid idea of who needs to go and she wants to make sure that that happens. Cory said he owes her and feels like what is good for her game is good for his game. Reilly explained that sitting back and observing is the best thing to do early on and there is one person who has not been doing that. Reilly said that to them, Cory is in an all male alliance. Cory said that makes no sense. Reilly stressed that Kirsten has got to go. Cory expressed his concerns over being a pawn. Reilly said everybody has dropped Kirsten’s name to her. She promised that he would not leave over Kirsten. Reilly thinks Jared will be loyal to her if she takes him down. Cory argued that Jared would be a better bet in a competition against Kirsten. Reilly mentioned she could talk to Felicia to see what she thinks about being a pawn.
2:29 AM: Reilly told Cirie that she is looking to put together a team that can get through the tough times when Big Brother throws things at them and it is not going well. Cirie said she would love to be a part of that with her. Reilly explained that Kirsten is her target right now, so she needs to pick a pawn between Cory, Felicia and Jared. Reilly said she knows in her heart that she has got Jared if she takes him off of the block. Cirie agreed. Reilly debated leaving Cory or Felicia up as the pawn, adding that Cory is hesitant about doing it. Cirie said she thinks Felicia would understand if she had to stay up as a pawn to get Kirsten out if Reilly sits down with her and explains the situation.
