Big Brother 25 Day 25 - Red wins the Power of Veto
August 26, 2023
8:55 AM: Feeds went down for the veto player pick.
9:27 AM: Feeds returned. The veto players are Cameron, Blue, Jag, Jared, Mecole and Red.
12:54 PM: Feeds went down for the veto competition.
6:01 PM: Feeds returned. Red won the Power of Veto.
6:02 PM: Cirie told America and Felicia that Jag told her best case scenario the nominations stay the same because he will have the votes. Felicia said he doesn’t realize that he is the main target. They agreed that Cameron and Red will say Jag has to go.
6:12 PM: Red told Cameron he has no intention to use the veto, and will be keeping it the same. Red said his suspicion is that there is a smaller alliance within Legend 25 based on his conversation with Cirie last night.
6:14 PM: Blue told Jag she will not badmouth him but she will advocate for herself to stay. She said there is no way that she will mess up his game or thinking about him sideways for pleading his case. Jag said the same to Blue. Blue said she cant be surprised if Red doesn’t use the veto since it was his bestie who made the nominations. America joined them. They talked about how Cameron and Red will be on the block next to each other next week, so they need to understand that they need both of them. America said there must have been some sort of backup plan that Cameron had in mind.
6:20 PM: Blue asked Jag how they go about getting Bowie, Mecole or anyone outside of the alliance on the block. Blue said they should talk to the group tonight and enact the plan tomorrow.
6:29 PM: Cameron told Red that they have all of tomorrow to plot how they will use the veto. Red said they need to have a Legend 25 meeting because Izzy is nervous and wants one. Cameron said neither of them are going to be able to get Izzy’s vote. Cameron said he doesn’t even want to be in the alliance right now. He said he likes the two of them, Bowie and Matt. Red said he trusts Cirie, which Cameron agreed with. Red said they wont only have to add some numbers but could keep that group of five. Cameron said he wants to ask Cirie one question, that being “why is everyone nervous?”. Cameron mentioned they have more of a power five than they think if Cirie trusts Red as much as he trusts her.
6:49 PM: Izzy told Cory that Blue and Jag want to pitch Bowie or Mecole going on the block. Cory said Cameron asked him “will Izzy target me next week?” and he told him no, so Cameron said he is going to trust that.
7:00 PM: Blue told Jag and Jared that they are going to have a meeting with their seven in order to explore any possibility of them both staying. She said Izzy is worried about going on the block. Jag said he isn’t sure who could go up. Blue said the only person she can think of would be Mecole.
7:26 PM: Felicia told Cameron that this worked out perfectly and there does not have to be an alternate plan. Felicia said she assumes Jag is Cameron’s target. Cameron said it’s the target of the group as they had a plan.
7:39 PM: Cory told America that Jag would need to throw Izzy under the bus in order to stay, but he wont do that and they cannot tell him to do that because they are screwed if someone comes off of the block. Cory explained that Izzy would then be Cameron’s target and they would lose Cameron and Red when they kept her. Cory suggested that America become Izzy’s best friend and follow her around like a puppy. Jared joined them and said Izzy is getting on his nerves because she is bugging out. Cory said he really thinks it could have been Izzy this week if not for him working his ass off. He added that Izzy would have been the target had there been a replacement nominee situation.
7:53 PM: Cameron asked Izzy if everyone is good with the plan. Izzy said absolutely. Cameron said they will leave nominations the same and get their number one target out. Bowie, Cirie, Felicia, Matt, Mecole and Red joined the HoH room. Felicia said that Blue and Jag plan to approach Red to see if he would take one of them down. Red said good luck with that since they have both been throwing his name around. Felicia said he told them that it was going to be a very hard sell. Red said it would be so stupid to use the veto. Felicia said Bowie and Mecole’s names have been brought up as a potential replacement nominee by Blue and Jag. Red stressed that the alliance needs to hold strong so they can make it to jury and then battle it out. Cirie asked if the target is Jag. Cameron and Red confirmed that.
8:14 PM: Felicia told Cirie that Blue talked about getting the veto used to put Bowie or Mecole up. Cirie said Felicia should have told Bowie that to ensure that nothing ever happens between those two. Felicia said she doesn’t want to throw people under the bus. Felicia let Cirie know that Jared was the one who gave Blue the idea to try to get the veto used to potentially save both her and Jag. Cirie questioned why Jared would want the veto to be used when it’s a serious possibility that Izzy could go on the block. Cirie said it makes zero sense to have the veto used. Cirie added that these people are so stupid. Cirie talked about them needing to leave things the same, let Jag go, and then Blue has no choice but to go with them.
9:00 PM: Jared told Blue that she needs to let it go, referring to trying to keep Jag in the house. Blue said she was not trying to campaign for him but rather explore the potential of both of them staying since the two of them and Jared had discussed that. Jared said it’s not smart to do when she is the one who would be safe right now. Blue said she gets that.
9:02 PM: Jag asked Izzy and Matt if they all just met, and if he is the target. Izzy said she does not want to lie and they are fully pushing for him to be the target. Jag said that was his assumption. Matt said they talked about not using the veto because there is no reason to. Jag asked if they said why he is the target. Izzy said they are treated by him. Matt added that he is good at competitions. Jag said he will talk to people and see if there is any way for him to stay.
9:40 PM: Jag told Izzy that America heard from Cory who was told by Jared about their alliance. He said she may have named six of the seven alliance members. Jag mentioned that he would like to talk about it with Cirie and Felicia but he does not want it to become something where they straight up question Jared about whether or not he said it. Jag said he was caught off guard when she mentioned it. Jag said he knows Cory and Jared are close, and he does not know if they are a final two but they are very close regardless. Izzy asked Jag why he doesn’t want to approach Jared about it. Jag felt that he would lose Cory and America if he did that.
10:17 PM: Jag told Cirie that America came to him and straight up asked if he is in an alliance with Cirie, Izzy and proceeded to name their alliance members. Cirie asked if she named all seven members. Jag said it may have been six. Jag said America told him that she heard about the alliance from Cory who heard about it from Jared. Cirie said she hopes America is not telling Cameron and Red. Cirie said Jag has to keep denying it.
10:35 PM: Cirie told Izzy and Matt that they have the votes to do whatever they want. Matt said there are pros and cons to both but he has been close with Jag since the beginning. Matt said Jag would be better to help them get Cameron and Red out. Izzy said they may need to think about that. Cirie said they keep letting people go out of the house that they do not want to leave. Izzy agreed and questioned if they should sit in a fake alliance forever or make something happen and keep a number for themselves. Izzy said she is willing to take the shot this week by keeping Jag. Felicia joined them. She agreed that keeping Jag would be best if they want to keep someone competitive. Cirie said Cameron and Red are trying to take out any of the guys who can compete and beat them. Felicia said she is all in for a big move.
11:39 PM: Cirie told Jag that keeping him would be drawing a line in the sand. Felicia agreed. Jag stressed that he will have them. He said he has shown that he is ride or die with the people he is loyal to, as he showed with Reilly. Cirie said the votes would be her, Felicia, Izzy, Mecole and Matt, and then they plan to get Jared right before. Felicia said they will tell him at the last minute because he will feel compelled to tell Blue if he knows too early. Cirie said Jared will vote with them. Jag said he trusts them. Felicia said Jared told her that he is not going to lose sight of his end goal. Felicia told Jag he cant walk around like he knows he has the votes. Cirie added that they have got Jag because they have to get Cameron and Red before they come for them, so they are going to keep Jag there.
1:39 AM: Jared told Blue he has got something to tell her. He then revealed that his mom is in the house. Jared asked if that would change anything. Blue said no. Jared said he assumes she would think he would choose his mom over her. Blue asked him to pinky promise that it’s true. Jared said he doesn’t have to promise. Blue asked why it would affect her. Jared said because if she found out that his mom was in the game, she may feel the need to do something about it. Blue said she is confused and wants to know the secret. Jared said he just told her. Blue asked if he told anyone else. Jared said no. Blue said she will not treat either of them any differently. Blue assumed that Felicia is Jared’s mom. She asked why Jared told her today. He said he had to fish to see how she would react before he can tell her exactly how it is. He said she took a step in the right direction. Jared said Blue will hear the whole story if he keeps passing more tests. Blue asked if she knew that Jared was going to tell her. Jared said no. Blue then asked if Felicia likes her. Jared said “let’s just say I don’t know”. Blue reiterated that this changes nothing for her and she would still nominate Felicia next to Cirie rather than Felicia next to Jared.
