Big Brother 25 Day 27 - Red decides not to use the Power of Veto
August 28, 2023
10:30 AM: Cory told Blue he can’t tell whether or not Jag has resigned. Blue said she thinks he is still trying. Cory didn’t think Jag had done much yesterday. Blue said she didn’t do anything yesterday either. Cory said he doesn’t think it’s possible for Blue to go home at this point, which sucks for Jag. Blue said Jag knows it.
10:32 AM: Felicia and Mecole discussed the timing of when they will tell Jared that the vote has flipped against Blue. Mecole said they need him to be solid with them so she does not want him feeling as though he was the last to know. Felicia said part of her wants to tell him after the veto ceremony but she worries he would be so hurt that Blue would be able to pick up on it.
10:35 AM: Felicia let Izzy know that they are discussing when to tell Jared. Izzy said it cannot be today. She said Felicia should not talk to him until they are all ready to, as she does not want him to feel as if he was the last to know. Felicia figured he wouldn’t believe that it was truly a last second decision on Wednesday. Izzy pointed out that they have been discussing flipping votes until the last minute in prior weeks. Felicia still worried that someone would tell Jared they had planned this.
10:44 AM: Cameron told Felicia that next week they have to make sure they take the shot at the next two. Felicia asked who they are thinking. Cameron said America and Blue are the next two in either order. Felicia said she is on board with that.
10:51 AM: Cirie and Felicia talked about Cameron saying that America and Blue need to be the next two to go. Felicia wondered if they would still have the numbers to get Cameron and Red out if they go along with sending Jag home this week. Cirie suggested that they talk to Matt in order to get him to see who Cameron and Red are talking about targeting next week.
11:02 AM: Cameron said that their alliance can walk to the final eight if they stay focused. Cirie said that’s what she wants as she would like to walk into jury. Felicia agreed that they are sitting pretty right now.
11:13 AM: Feeds went down for the veto ceremony.
12:21 PM: Feeds returned. Red decided not to use the Power of Veto. Blue and Jag remain nominated.
12:42 PM: Cirie asked Jag how he is doing. He said the veto ceremony went as expected. He added that he would have been surprised had Red gone up there and said he was using the veto.
12:45 PM: Blue mentioned to Cirie and Jag that she is going to have to be nicer to Bowie. She brought up a couple of instances in which Bowie thought she was not having it with her. Cirie said Bowie is fixated on Blue and Jared, which Felicia called out yesterday. Blue agreed that Bowie has been on their case.
12:59 PM: Felicia told Cirie that after talking to Cameron, they have to stick to their plan to keep Jag. She didn’t think Cameron bringing up that they are getting rid of one of their competitors. She added that they need to catch them off guard and let them know that they are not running things, which will send them into panic mode.
1:08 PM: Izzy and Jag discussed that their timing with Jared is very important. Izzy stressed that they have to do it early enough that Jared doesn’t feel left out but make sure that Blue does not find out either. Jag asked what the plan is for Mecole moving forward. Izzy said in a way they could bring her in to replace Blue. Jag said he really likes Mecole and thinks she is loyal and someone that they can work with. Izzy talked about how there will be some mystery behind who voted to keep Jag since no one would suspect that Jared voted Blue out, and people are going to think that Matt would have voted the way that Cameron wanted. She suggested that America and Cory may take some blame and become targets for that side.
1:11 PM: Cirie told Matt he needs to talk to Cameron and Red to find out what the plan is for a potential Red HoH next week. She wants to compare notes on what he is telling her vs what he is telling Matt. Matt said he will see if can find anything out.
