Big Brother 25 Day 5
August 6, 2023
11:20 AM: Izzy told Red that she does not trust Blue. However Izzy said that Cory, Jag and Reilly need to be the first three to go. She explained that Blue would be lost without Jag. As for Luke, she called him harmless and said she wants to keep him if he is the first backdoor option for the other side. Red said he likes Luke but has not had game talk with him.
11:31 AM: Cirie let Red know that they do not need to be talking every day unless they have new information. Red agreed and said he just does not want her thinking that he is avoiding her.
11:37 AM: Hisam told Cirie they need to think about who is the lynchpin to the group on the other side, and who would make them fall apart. Cirie said she thinks that it is Reilly. Just as she told Red, she said not to worry if they don’t talk all the time as they are still solid as a rock.
11:40 AM: Izzy told Jared they should put it in the heads of the other side that Luke needs to go, so that they run with that plan in the event that they win HoH.
11:44 AM: Cirie let Cory know she was a bit afraid since he knows her history, meaning that she did not know how she would be received by him. Cirie made it clear that she is as loyal as they come and she does not want him to rule her out as a potential piece. Cory said he has so much respect for her but he is also terrified of her. As for his position in the game, Cory explained that he is not a part of the power structure but they think that they have him. He added that he does owe Reilly since she saved him, but it’s only Reilly. Cirie thought that would be a key point to make when talking to Hisam, as Cory worried about his position with him. Cirie agreed to speak to Hisam about Cory, though she also made it clear that Cory should talk to him on his own too. The two talked about their potential to work with Izzy and Jared, as was discussed yesterday. Cirie later threw Felicia’s name into the mix as well. Both Cirie and Cory said that they will not be targeting each other if they win HoH.
12:08 PM: Hisam and Izzy discussed that they are done with Blue. Hisam suggested that they talk to her as if they are a trio but they cannot trust her with anything. Hisam figured that it would not hurt them to talk to Blue in that sense. Izzy wanted to think it over and preferred the idea of letting Blue come to them. Hisam told Izzy that she is his person. Izzy said the same back to him.
12:34 PM: Cirie relayed to Hisam and Izzy that Cory said Reilly is the only person that he owes anything to on that side of the house. She mentioned that the hierarchy in terms of where Cory and Jared fall on that side may be starting to freak them out.
1:10 PM: Felicia told Mecole that they have to go for two power players if they win HoH. She suggested a combination of Reilly with either Jag or Matt as nominees. She pointed out that Cory is disposable to that side, so taking him out wouldn’t have the same impact. Mecole said she thinks Jag, Matt and Reilly are leading the charge. Felicia said she thinks that it is Cameron, Jag and Reilly. Mecole brought up that they need to try to get Luke on their side. Felicia said she is waiting for a chance to stun Luke by asking if he is in that alliance, as he then wont have time to make up a lie.
1:39 PM: Jag let Reilly know that Hisam wants to talk to her later in order to confirm that the plan is still the same, because he was worried about it changing. Reilly said she has no reason to keep Kirsten around when the whole house wants her gone.
3:47 PM: Reilly reiterated to Cirie that the plan is and always has been to target Kirsten. Reilly said she would never let Felicia leave this week. Cirie admitted that she and Felicia had gotten a bit paranoid yesterday.
3:52 PM: Cirie spoke to Izzy and questioned if they had just been paranoid yesterday in terms of thinking that there was a plan to backdoor her. Cirie said Reilly may have thrown the veto because she didn’t want Felicia expecting her to take her down.
3:59 PM: Reilly spoke to Hisam about her desire to have the nominations kept the same. Hisam said he is on board with that and he would like for Felicia to stay. Reilly said she asked Felicia to be a pawn because she knew it would be a unanimous vote against Kirsten.
5:17 PM: Blue and Hisam spoke, and then Izzy joined them as well. Blue said she will never put ether of them in danger as she would not feel good about doing that to those in her community. Hisam and Izzy agreed. Blue suggested that they keep it on the down low and talk more so in passing.
5:27 PM: Luke spoke to Jared about feeling as though people are avoiding him. Jared said Kirsten feels the same way. Luke wasn’t sure what he did. Jared reassured him that he did not do anything wrong.
5:42 PM: Izzy told Cirie she is worried about Hisam since she specifically told him that she wanted to wait to speak to Blue yet he pushed that they talk to her. They talked about needing to bring Cory in even though they do not trust him. The two became paranoid about people having stopped talking when they walked in earlier. Blue, Bowie, Cameron, Luke and Red were amongst the people around at the time.
6:13 PM: Cirie asked Bowie what was happening when she walked in earlier. Bowie said Luke is getting paranoid because he feels as though people stop talking every time that he walks in to a room.
6:34 PM: Reilly told Luke he needs to start having conversations with people. Luke said he has tried but feels that he may be the next target. Reilly told him that he is being paranoid when he thinks that people are getting quiet when he comes in.
6:38 PM: Red explained to Cirie, Izzy and Mecole that Luke was spiralling earlier when Cirie and Izzy had walked in on the group in the kitchen. Red said he just shut up and went back to cooking at the time.
6:51 PM: Hisam told Felicia he thinks that they need to get Cameron out. Felicia thinks that they need to go after Cameron, Jag and Reilly. Hisam said they should be mindful that Jag may be a strong competitor so he would be a good backdoor option. Felicia agreed. Hisam talked about needing Felicia to speak to Jared in order to get him on board. He added that Cirie could then follow up that talk to seal the deal. Hisam thinks it would be best if Jared still plays with the other side so that he could gather intel for them.
7:28 PM: Izzy told Jared that she is not fangirling when it comes to Cirie. Jared said he knows it’s real and both he and Cirie want the three of them to make it to the end together.
7:44 PM: Cirie told Izzy that after speaking with Reilly, she believes that they were just being paranoid. Cirie said the things that Reilly told her lined up with what Bowie and Red had been saying, and she does not think that they came together to make up a lie. Izzy told Cirie she does not want her to think that she is a fangirl. Cirie reassured her that she does not have to worry as she knows that it’s genuine since Izzy could have immediately blown up her game but chose not to. Cirie said she owes Izzy her life in this game.
8:05 PM: Reilly told America and Blue about her conversation with Luke, saying he cornered her and is really paranoid. Reilly said Luke needs to go next week if they win HoH. America said if they are thinking of Luke as a threat, Kirsten would be easily swayed by them if she stayed. Reilly said she is not sending Felicia home. America said Luke could go but Reilly said Kirsten is leaving this week.
8:43 PM: Izzy worked on Luke, telling him she would like to continue to talk game with him. While she acknowledged that this week is set, she suggested that they vote together next week. Luke said she is the first person to talk to him about this kind of stuff. Izzy assured Luke that he is good with her if she wins HoH. Izzy talked about wanting to flip the power in the house.
9:25 PM: Reilly told Jag she could see Izzy being the one to lead the charge on the other side. She mentioned that Izzy is recruiting Luke. They agreed that it will be a problem if the other side cracked the code and figured out their eight. Reilly thinks Izzy will bring in Bowie, Cirie, Felicia, Hisam, Mecole and Red. Jag suggested that they backdoor Izzy this week. Reilly called the move suicidal and said she would be out the door next week if she were to do that. However Reilly said she would like to see Izzy or Luke leave next.
9:55 PM: Cory spoke to Hisam in hope to clear the air with him. He discussed his thoughts on the dynamics of the house and also gave some insight into his game. Cory said he feels great about Cirie and Izzy, as well as Jared and Mecole.
11:36 PM: Bowie, Cirie, Izzy and Felicia named themselves The Professors. They talked about being able to change the game while playing with integrity and being straight up.
11:53 PM: Bowie, Cirie and Izzy spoke to Mecole and Red in order to fill them in on the developments. Cirie said they had an amazing conversation with Hisam who has been holding court all day. Cirie said Reilly told him that she has Blue, America, Jag and Cameron who are a solid five. Cirie said Hisam had a conversation with Matt who said he doesn’t have anything with Reilly, and he does not talk game with Luke. Cirie said they are thinking that their solid seven will be Bowie, Felicia, Hisam, Izzy, Mecole and Red. Izzy stressed that they are all equal and there is no hierarchy within the alliance. Izzy said the young, hot singles are running around thinking that they are the popular kids. Izzy pointed out that their seven are the oldest people in the house and are playing the game in a mature way. Izzy let the group know that the alliance will be called The Professors as they are taking the kids to school.
3:00 AM: Reilly worried that Izzy would target her. Jag didn’t think she would. As for Hisam, Jag thinks it would take a lot for him to go back on his word to Reilly in order to put her up. Reilly told Jag that people are hovering around her and calling out her alliances. Jag said Hisam is the one stressing him out the most right now. Reilly thinks Hisam’s paranoia is rubbing off on her.
3:41 AM: Reilly wondered if Izzy planted the seed in Luke’s head that she was considering putting him up as a replacement nominee, causing his paranoia. Jag wondered if there would be a way to backdoor someone this week. Reilly said Hisam seems good with her and talked about working with Cameron and Jag as a four. Jag said he likes to consider every option, so he is wondering if there is a way to backdoor her this week. Reilly said Hisam would pop a blood vessel if she changes the plan, and he would never go for backdooring Izzy. Jag said Hisam would have to be blindsided too, which Reilly said she would never do. Jag said he would feel a lot better if Kirsten was there over Izzy. Reilly said that would be mission impossible. Reilly said she would love to see Izzy go since she has no intention of playing with her. Jag asked if it’s too crazy of a move for this week. He concluded that it would be tough to pull off if Hisam is truly close with Izzy. Reilly said it’s week one and they cannot do it as her game with Hisam would be over if she lies to his face. Jag agreed.
