You said numerous times that you wanted to leave and you were basically only campaigning for TV purposes. Did that ever change?
Chelsea: That definitely changed. I wanted to be there. I just felt like it was hopeless right from the beginning, right from my nom. It really defeated me cause next to Kyra I knew that I was the target and there was no campaign that was going to work. I thought if I tried to talk to the girls about the guys alliance, it’s not going to work and they will take it right back to Dane. It’s not that I didn’t want to keep playing but I felt like it was a done deal.
You had talked about potentially exposing the guys alliance after the votes were revealed. What made you decide against that?
Chelsea: There was a lot of speculation about it already. If I left the dynamic the way that it was when I left, it would give the girls the chance to play against the guys. I felt like if I exposed it, everybody would scramble and it would have been harder for the girls to fight against.
In Sam’s goodbye message, she told you that it was not the right time for her game to expose the guys alliance. What are your thoughts on that?
Chelsea: I understood where Sam was coming from. No one wants to rock the boat. I think because she is so emotionally connected to Adam, because they are obviously in a showmance, it puts her in a really tough spot to go against that. Her saying it’s not right for her game, it makes sense but I don’t know If it’s ever going to be right for her emotionally to go against him. I don’t know that she ever really will.
You went back and forth on whether or not you thought Kyra was emotionally manipulating you. Now that your game is over, what are your thoughts on that?
Chelsea: I don’t believe that Kyra was. It’s really weird to go from HoH to on the block and knowing that you are the target and going home. I let paranoia sink in. You start to really look at people and wonder what people are capable of. I questioned it and then I checked myself and realized who I was talking about and who Kyra was. I just really don’t think that Kyra would have been capable of that.
There has been plenty of speculation about a guys alliance. Which guys do you think are working together, and who within that group do you think would turn first?
Chelsea: I think that it’s a core group of Anthony, Adam and Dane. I think that probably Mark is a part of it and also Damien is a little part of it. I also think that maybe Cory could be more close to them than I realize. Maybe it’s not necessarily a guys alliance but more of a comp beast alliance. In terms of who is going to go against it, I don’t know that any of them will. They are all going to have to at some point if they get to the end. I think Anthony could probably go against it cause he is strong enough.
