BBCAN4 - Christine Kelsey Exit Interview
March 18, 2016
You told Arisa that you saw this outcome coming. At what point did you really start to feel as though you would be going home?
Christine: I had hope up until at least two hours before the eviction, and then I realized that everyone was just telling me what I wanted to hear and I pretty much knew I was out.
Which houseguests do you feel are most responsible for your eviction, and why?
Christine: Well, Loveita cause she is the one that put me on the block. She is ultimately responsible. Everybody did what was best for their game, so I don’t hold anybody responsible for evicting me.
You made it clear that you thought that Loveita made a weak move. While it was not a big move, do you feel that it was smart for her game?
Christine: That’s to be determined. If she ends up staying in the house then absolutely, but she is certainly not doing herself any favours. If I were her, I would have made big moves and risked being out of the house, at least going with big moves as opposed to wimpy moves.
Throughout the week, many of those that voted against you said that they didn’t know where your head was at. Do you think this was the actual reason for voting you out or was it simply an excuse to?
Christine: I think maybe 50/50. They don’t know where Mitch’s head is at, they don’t know where Joel’s head is at and they don’t know where Loveita’s head is at, so it’s kind of an excuse I think.
You and Cassandra appeared to be close early on. Do you hold anything against her in terms of how she handled the past week?
Christine: Me and Cassandra got along really well. The last week, she kind of got a little bit on my nerves sometimes. She is just so on it all the time. She is always scheming and it just kind of got annoying, and she was following Tim around like a little puppy dog, but I still like Cassandra. As a matter of fact, when we were up on the block together, we hated it cause we wanted to be in the house together. We made a pact that we could slam each other’s name all campaign time and we wouldn’t take it personal.
Had you stayed in the game, which houseguests would you have wanted to work with moving forward?Christine: I actually would have liked to have been with Joel and Mitch and stayed together as the underdogs kind of and let the big dogs fight it out.
If you had stayed in the game and got in power, would you have went after the Jared, Kelsey and Raul group like you had said?
Christine: Yeah, I definitely would have taken out some big dogs, preferably boys, whether it be Jared, Raul or the brothers.
Which houseguest do you think has the best chance of winning the game right now and why?
Christine: I really couldn’t tell you. It’s anybody’s game. Whoever gets in power, it’s going to shift every week. I don’t really feel anybody is playing the game better than anybody else, except Tim I feel is going to go a long way.
Are you at all surprised that Nikki and Tim have managed to go under the radar for the most part thus far?
Christine: I’m not surprised, because of their personalties. Nikki, she is a live wire. She could leave on her out at any minute, so nobody feels threatened. Tim, he is just a loveable guy and everybody loves him. Everybody thinks that they are his friend and they believe that. He has got them all under his wraps for sure.
What was your favourite part about the whole experience?
Christine: The competitions, for sure. I loved it every single one of them, especially the “Flip It To Win It” cause I won, obviously, and it was like being on a game show. It was like two things in one. I got to be on a game show plus a reality show, and I got to beat Loveita’s ass.
