Elissa wins the PoV, Amanda informs her that Helen is leaving
August 17, 2013
A Recap of Day 58 in the Big Brother 15 House
11:00-12:00 PM: The players for the veto competition were selected. In addition to Aaryn, Elissa and Helen, Andy, GinaMarie and Spencer were chosen to play for veto. Helen immediately pulled Andy aside and questioned if people have been talking about voting her out over Elissa. Andy said no but explained that no one would tell him even if they were planning that. Helen said that if Elissa leaves it will be her, Andy, Amanda and McCrae vs. Aaryn, GinaMarie and Spencer. Helen is worried that Amanda has been spending a lot of time with Aaryn, feeling that Amanda and McCrae are more likely to be protected by Aaryn than they are.
Andy told Amanda and Aaryn that this is the first week in a while that he has been really stressed. He did not want to be picked for the veto competition and does not want to win it. Amanda told him that he can tell Helen that he is not using the veto on her because they have the votes to save her anyway and he does not want Aaryn coming after him. She told Andy that he can throw a vote to Helen and act surprised about her eviction. Amanda told Andy that the good part about his game is that no one has thought about going after him and nobody is thinking about going after him, but they also all trust him and will be very pissed when they find out that he had a part in their evictions.
Amanda continued her mission to pull Elissa away from Helen and towards her. Amanda revealed that she doesn't believe that there is any way that both Helen and Elissa can stay this week. Amanda explained that people are threatened by them because they are a pair, while Spencer is a big target to keep around and is all on his own. She told Elissa that Helen cannot win the veto, otherwise Elissa is going home. Amanda then told Elissa that if the nominations were to stay the same, Helen would be the one that goes home. Amanda said that she wants Elissa to stay more than Helen because she trusts her more. She swore on her life that she would keep Elissa over Helen. Amanda said that she can convince the rest of the house to keep Elissa over Helen.
12:00-1:00 PM: Elissa was confused why she and Helen could both not stay if Helen were to win the veto, seeing as Andy, Amanda, McCrae and Helen would be enough votes to save her. Amanda told her that it's not going to happen and advised her to start campaigning for herself to stay, not for both she and Helen to stay. Amanda said that having Elissa there helps her game, while having Helen there helps other people's games. Amanda said that she knows that there was truth in what Jessie was saying about them coming after her. Elissa denied any involvement in the plan, saying that she told Helen no.
If came down to Spencer vs. Elissa, Amanda said that Elissa would never go against Helen, while Spencer would. Amanda told Elissa that even if people are saying that Spencer is going, she expects that they will blindside Elissa or Helen because it wouldn't make sense not to. Amanda told Elissa that Helen threw her under the bus the other night, has always referred to her as "disposable" and also made an alliance with she and Aaryn, called the 3 PM Package. Amanda made it clear that she is confiding in Elissa by telling her all of this, and that her trust would be put into question if she went back to Helen with it all. Amanda said that her goal has always been for her and Elissa to work together, which will happen if Helen leaves. She said that they could make it all the way to the end. Amanda later told Andy that she is trying to get Elissa under her wing so that she can control her. Andy believes that Elissa would only listen to the two of them if Helen were to go this week.
3:00-4:00 PM: Helen told Elissa that Aaryn said that she would not use the veto, but that she plans to try to convince her otherwise. Helen said that they would have to promise Aaryn safety. Helen then asked Elissa if Aaryn told her that she is a pawn or the target. Elissa said that she (Elissa) is the target. In actuality, Aaryn told Elissa that she was not the target and would not be going anywhere. Helen said that Aaryn had also told her that Elissa is the target. Helen said that Elissa would have her, Andy, McCrae and Amanda voting for her if she wins the veto. If Elissa wins the veto, Helen said that she would hope that Elissa, Amanda, McCrae and Andy would vote for her. Elissa simply said "obviously", opting to reveal nothing from her earlier conversation with Amanda.
8:00-9:00 PM: For the second time this season, Elissa won the Power of Veto. The veto competition was OTEV. Helen was super excited for Elissa, telling her that she won the hardest competition in Big Brother. She said that Elissa always wins when her life is on the line.
9:00-10:00 PM: Amanda told Aaryn and Andy that she had already told Elissa that Helen is likely going home. They all agreed that Helen needs to be blindsided and that she should not be told. Amanda said that she is going to tell Helen that she is voting with the house. Aaryn felt that that was a perfect thing to say, seeing as Helen is the one that taught them that. Amanda and Andy agreed that they need Spencer to stay over Helen because he and Elissa will go after each other. They then discussed that either Spencer or Elissa has to go home next week. Aaryn and Andy said that Elissa needs to go first. Amanda said that she agrees with them.
10:00-11:00 PM: Helen and Elissa discussed that they will have to make sure that they get everyone to vote out Spencer. Helen was proud of Elissa for winning the veto, and tried to motivate her to build on this win as they head into the next HoH competition. Helen said that Aaryn has tried to get her out three times now, so it would feel so good for Elissa to get her out of the game. Helen said that next week would be the ideal week to do it, seeing as Aaryn can't play for HoH. Helen said that Aaryn would be someone that she would consider targeting, only because Aaryn nominated her., but she also has another person in mind. Helen said that Amanda is still on her radar and that, at the very least, they have to scare her straight. Helen feels that Amanda would be taking on a risky move if she were to try to get her out this week. Helen believes that McCrae and Andy would stop her from doing so.
11:00-12:00 AM: Elissa asked Amanda if Helen was really going home. Amanda told her that Helen will be evicted and that there is nothing that can be done and no alliances that can be made to change it. Amanda said that Helen is more of a threat than Spencer, seeing as she has Elissa while Spencer has no one. Amanda told Elissa that the more that she gets involved in trying to save Helen, the worst spot she will be in. Amanda said that the worst thing that Elissa can do is try to flip the house. Elissa said that she isn't trying to flip the house.
4:00-5:00 AM: Amanda was upset with Aaryn, feeling that she has been hitting on McCrae the past couple of days. She said that she doesn't want to feel threatened by a 23 year old. Amanda also didn't like some of the comments that McCrae has been making towards Aaryn either. Amanda said that they love each other and she does want Aaryn to steal him. McCrae said that it will never happen. Amanda said that Aaryn needs to go. McCrae told her that they can't afford to lose Aaryn over something so petty. McCrae told her that he wants Aaryn out eventually but they need her right now. Amanda wanted McCrae to start spending more time with her. McCrae explained that they cannot isolate now, as they need ears everywhere in order to ensure that they remain safe.
5:00-6:00 AM: Immediately after his talk with Amanda, McCrae went to Spencer and said that it's getting to a point where they want GinaMarie there over Aaryn at the Final 5. Spencer said that he would prefer that. They agreed on a Final 5 of McCrae, Amanda, Spencer, GinaMarie and Andy. Spencer asked if Amanda was fine with GinaMarie going to the Final 5 over Aaryn. McCrae said that he thinks she is. Spencer told McCrae that he will not nominate Amanda and McCrae, saying that he wants to go to the Final 4 with them. Spencer pointed out that Aaryn deserves to win the game if she makes it to the Final 2. McCrae agreed. McCrae said that GinaMarie is a bulldog and Aaryn already has a bunch of wins under her belt, so those two together are powerful.
Spencer asked McCrae if he wants to be Final 2 with Amanda. McCrae said that Amanda would beat him. Spencer agreed, saying that she could bring up that she was a target from the beginning. McCrae feels that people may think that Amanda carried him. He said that the one big move that he could make would be to take Amanda out himself.. McCrae said that he would want to bring Spencer to the end cause he has a better record than him. He said that Andy has played a really good game. Spencer agreed, saying that Andy is so clean and has played a phenomenal social game.
Spencer said that if someone comes back, they will figure things out as they go. McCrae said that Judd would have some kind of master plan if he came back, and would have already worked everyone in the jury. They are still unsure of whether or not Judd was ever the MVP. They agreed that it didn't make much sense that he didn't try harder to get Amanda out if he was MVP.
