Caleb grows frustrated with Amber
July 16, 2014
1:00-2:00 PM: Nicole and Christine discussed their plan to vote to evict Caleb in order to frame Donny and Jocasta. Nicole was concerned about what may happen if two others did the same thing. She said that they will really have to think things over before they do it. That being said, Nicole said that the viewers would love it if they voted against the house to stir the pot. She pointed out that everyone has been voting the same thus far. Nicole advised Christine not to say stuff such as “Hayden is the most underestimated player in the house”, given that it is not good for his game. She also expressed concern that people will start classifying them as a showmance. Nicole said that they are not a showmance and she will never kiss Hayden in the house.
2:00-3:00 PM: Caleb spoke to Hayden about who he thinks should be the target next week. Caleb said that he feels as though Victoria needs to be the next one to go. Both agreed that they are considering nominating Jocasta, Victoria and Brittany. Caleb then revealed that he has really been rethinking his game, feeling that Amber is not good for it. Hayden said that she offers little in terms of game play. Caleb felt that Amber would nominate him if the house told him to. He was also not happy that she spent hours on the hammock with Brittany and then with Cody the past two nights.
While he said that he will not put Amber up, Caleb said that he would be fine with someone else doing it. He didn’t want people to think that he was nominating her because she doesn’t like him. As for further down the road, once they reach the “top eight”, Caleb said that he trusts Hayden and Derrick. He mentioned that Amber use to be in that group. As for those he doesn’t trust, Caleb listed off Cody and Zach’s names. Hayden told Caleb that he really trusts Donny, feeling that his actions suggest that there is no reason not to. Hayden believes that the rumours about Donny are all that makes him untrustworthy.
Caleb then went to Derrick and said that he has really rethought his game and now believes that Amber is bad for his game. He said that Amber is all over the place, going wherever she feels safest. Derrick said that Amber will stay with him since he protects her. The guys agreed that Amber, Victoria, Jocasta and Brittany as nominees is the most likely outcome. Derrick wanted to target Jocasta first because she is a floater and it would break up a potential alliance with Donny. He said that Victoria could go at any time, as she is on her own. Caleb wanted Victoria to go before jury, over Brittany, as Brittany is the better competitor. Derrick pointed out that that’s exactly why she could start an alliance to come after them. Once they nearer to jury, Caleb said that they should nominate Amber and Frankie together the first chance that they get. Caleb noted that Amber is unappreciative about what he has done so that, on top of the other things, gives reason for her to be one of the first to go once they make it to jury. He was upset that Amber has been talking game for hours with both Brittany and Cody. Caleb said that you don't see him talking with Victoria for hours.
6:00-7:00 PM: A number of houseguests were hanging out in the HoH room when Caleb picked up a ring. Nicole told him that he can give it to Amber. Caleb gave Nicole one of his “death stares”, as Cody would call it. Frankie commented that Caleb almost killed Nicole with his eyes. Nicole asked why Caleb almost killed her with his eyes. Caleb said that he doesn’t like Amber like that, even though he did at first. He said that he is getting his head back in the game, after having it focused on other things up to this point. Caleb mentioned that if Amber is cold, then “screw it”. He said that he will not be throwing any blankets on her.
7:00-8:00 PM: After everyone else cleared out of the HoH room, Cody, Zach and Derrick talked some game. They discussed Caleb saying that his head is on straight and that he is focused now. Cody said that’s good since maybe he will win a competition, but he was concerned that Caleb would want to put him up. Derrick said that he guarantees that he could talk Caleb out of it. Derrick asked Cody who he thinks he can have more control over, Amber or Brittany. Cody said Amber. Cody felt that Caleb may try to convince him to nominate Amber so that Amber would run back to him. Cody said that he can see right through it though.
Cody pointed out that Amber is playing with her feelings, getting hurt when he goes and talks to Brittany. Derrick said that he and Zach have seen that all along. He believe that it was best for their games if Cody has Amber on lock and focuses on her over Brittany. Derrick explained that Amber will do whatever Cody tells her to do. As for Brittany, Derrick and Zach agreed that Brittany would do anything it takes to win and could take them out at any point. Derrick felt that they would be in a better position with Amber’s vote on lock, while Cody mentioned that Brittany will be up in the air no matter what. Derrick said that it would be even better if it pushed Caleb away from Amber, as there would be less of an uproar if they have to take out either Amber or Caleb.
8:00-9:00 PM: Zach and Frankie discussed that it’s great that they locked in “The Detonators” alliance last night. Zach said that he still has Cody and Derrick. Frankie asked if the three of them were called The Detonators beforehand too. Zach said that they were Los Tres Amigos. Frankie said that he, Devin and Caleb were The Three Amigos. They laughed that they both had the same alliance name. Zach reiterated that Frankie cannot say a word about it, as Cody and Derrick don’t know that he knows about them. Frankie said that he understands but it will be great once they get down to the Final 5, as no one will suspect that the two of them are together. Zach mentioned that they are golden, as they still have Caleb, Amber, Nicole and Hayden. Zach asked Frankie if he has to win tomorrow’s HoH. Frankie said yeah. Zach said that he wants to win it, and Frankie pointed out that it is a good one to win since either Jocasta or Victoria are going home, while things will start getting dirty after that.
9:00-10:00 PM: Hayden and Donny talked some game over a game of chess. Hayden let Donny know that the guys didn’t actually want him to go home. Donny asked who people are talking about nominating next week. Hayden said that four names keep coming up, those being Amber, Victoria, Brittany and Jocasta. Donny said that he wouldn’t have a problem nominating Victoria but he doesn’t know about the other three. He mentioned Christine’s name as a possibility. Hayden says that people would understand if Donny nominated Christine, but not if he did it. Hayden said that he would like to see Amber or Brittany leave, as they are the two that seem to keep going back and forth between sides. Donny said that getting Amber out would be best for Hayden’s game, seeing as Caleb would protect Amber over him. Donny mentioned that Cody spends a lot of time with Derrick. He asked Hayden if Cody had been brainwashed yet. Hayden said that he doesn’t think so. Hayden noted that Caleb doesn’t trust Cody or Zach much right now. Donny was then asking if Hayden agrees that Derrick is the ringleader, but Brittany joined them and broke up the game talk.

Donny was then asking if Hayden agrees that Derrick is the ringleader, but Brittany joined them and broke up the game talk. Donny later mentioned that he thinks that Derrick knew that Nicole was going to nominate him. He also noted that he would like to use some of the floaters to get stronger players out, rather than evict them all early on. Hayden agreed.
11:00-12:00 AM: Caleb again vented about Amber, this time to Zach. Caleb said that he is over it and is not worried about her anymore. He pointed out that he has done so much for Amber without any reciprocation or thank you. He then watched Cody and Amber on the spy screen, calling them a showmance. Caleb noted that Cody has done nothing in the game, while he put his game on the line for Amber. He was frustrated that Cody and Amber were on the hammock together for hours, then went inside together, then were both asleep together, then were awake together, and were now doing dishes together.
Zach informed Caleb that Cody has never said anything about Amber to him and that he doesn’t see Cody liking Amber in that way. Caleb said that he has to put it in his head that Cody and Amber are together and there is nothing that he can do about it. Caleb said that he will not use the veto on Amber if she is on the block again. As for the future, Caleb wants to have a four person alliance once they make it to jury. He said that Amber and Frankie will be his first two nominees at that point, seeing as he has the most doubts about the two of them. Zach said that he has doubts about Frankie as well.
