Quiet day in the Big Brother house

12:00-1:00 PM: Feeds returned after being down for roughly three hours. The houseguests had brunch and recorded segments for tomorrow night’s episode in which various events from throughout the season will be discussed. Afterwards the houseguests headed back to bed.
5:00-6:00 PM: The houseguests were trying to find ways to amuse themselves. They decided to play hide and seek. Cody and Victoria hid first, and Derrick had little trouble finding them. Next up, it was Cody and Derrick’s turn to hide. They decided to hide together, going to the diary room. Victoria searched the whole house and wondered where they possibly could have went. She then decided to check the diary room and initially did not see them. However, she looked a little harder and then the guys startled her by making a noise. Next up, they played “basketball” with plastic limes and a pot, seeing who could get the most limes in to the pot.
6:00-7:00 PM: Derrick and Cody discussed what Part 2 of the HoH competition could be. Derrick said that he hopes that it has something to do with knowledge, as opposed to something that has to do with chance like OTEV. They agreed that there is no way that this competition will be won by chance. Cody told Derrick that he is going to smoke the competition. Derrick said that he will have a couple of study sessions tonight by himself to go over everything. Cody then threw a couple of questions Derrick’s way in order to test him. Derrick felt that if there is anything that he would get stuck on, Victoria would surely get stuck on it as well.
8:00-9:00 PM: Derrick went to the fire room alone to go over things for Part 2 of the HoH competition. Meanwhile, Cody and Victoria were playing cards with the deck of cards that Big Brother had given them a short while earlier. Derrick eventually joined them and they began doing various card tricks.
10:00-11:00 PM: Victoria told Derrick that she doesn’t know what to do when it comes to Part 2 of the Final HoH competition. She felt that she would not beat Cody in Part 3. Derrick said that the only thing that she can hope to leave there with is saying that she tried her best. Derrick said that he will definitely try to win since he knows that he is capable of beating Cody in Part 3. Victoria pointed out that Derrick doesn’t panic in those situations, while she does. Victoria asked what Derrick thinks. Derrick told Victoria that he will not tell her to throw the competition. Victoria said that she doesn’t want to but again questioned what Derrick thought. He explained that she will simply have to beat Cody if she beats him in Part 2 tomorrow.
11:00-12:00 AM: Victoria kept asking Derrick for advice as to what she should do with regards to tomorrow’s competition. She felt that if she did win Part 2 and then lost Part 3 she would beat herself up over it since she knows that Derrick is capable of beating Cody in Part 3. Derrick told Victoria that she has a tendency to concentrate on the negative in things. He told her not to forget that she is in the Final 3. Victoria said that there is another possibility, implying that Derrick could beat Cody. Derrick said that it’s not a guarantee and that he could lose to Cody in Part 3. Victoria said that she would then hate herself for not trying in Part 2. Victoria told Derrick that if he makes it to the end with Cody he needs to give a good speech in order to make sure that he wins. Derrick said that he feels as though the jury has already made up their mind as to which of them they would vote for.
Victoria told Derrick that she has something to say but doesn’t want him to get mad. She pointed out that Derrick said that she is like family while Cody is an ally. Victoria did not want to say it but she was hinting that Derrick would choose Cody over her. Derrick told her that she is paranoid. She pointed out that he has good relationships with both her and Cody. Derrick said that it has been that way the whole game. He said that if he wins the competition tomorrow they can talk. Derrick explained that he cares about Victoria and said that that’s all that she needs to know. He said that he knows her situation and has her back.
